Food was great, large portions staff was great as well. They don't have reservations yet but they do have a waiting list and they got us in when they said they would.

We went for dinner today, Bellevue was unusually busy today, I think it was because of the great weather. All the restaurants were full and we put ourselves on waitlist here but unfortunately we were late, apparently the restaurant called to check if we were going to come but the call came as a spam and I didn’t pick the call. We were like 30 mins late from the said time but LESLIE was very courteous and said she will accommodate us. We had to wait little as she had to seat other before us but she kept checking with us and finally got a table. I mean that’s what I call best customer service. They just won a customer for life. My kids were so hungry but I ordered food for them as soon we sat and it came out in minutes. Overall best food and best service from LESLIE. Will be coming back again and again. Shout out to Leslie and other managers at the store.

Cactus is a great restaurant! We live in Texas and we think this Mexican food is great! The chips and guacamole and the queso is so great! I had the Santa Fe Enchiladas and they were awesome! Every part of it was amazing! I totally recommend that you come here!

The waitlist feature is incredible! It works so smoothly and really eliminates wait time when you arrive. We first started with some drinks and chips/guacamole! I ordered the Peach Bellini Sparkling Frozen Margarita, delicious! Perfectly sweet with a nice peach flavor and he got the Cactus Margarita. For dinner, I ordered a steak quesadilla and he got the Baja fish tacos. We both cleaned our plate! Service was prompt, food and drinks came out quick. The only downside- was our incredibly wobbly table. Trivial I know, but you couldn't put any weight on it or it moved dramatically.

What a beautiful restaurant! It is ideally located in the Bellevue Square Mall - with ample parking even for a Saturday night. They have a convenient entrance/exit within and outside the mall. They are pretty busy, so it is a good idea to call ahead and make a reservation. It is a pretty big place, and they have a lot of seating, which is excellent given they are in a mall. The place is suitable for large groups - we were 8 people and saw many other groups of similar sizes. We had two people helping us that night, which was well planned. We started out with drinks and appetizers - margaritas (basic and fruity ones) and Nachos, Camarones D' El Diablo, and Navajo Fry Bread. The Nachos were luscious. They had Queso Blanco, corn, olives, jalapeños, pico de gallo, and guacamole; everything was done right. The Camarones was delightful, the quantity was a little less for a group, so I would suggest ordering at least 2 if you are 5+. They were some of the best crispy prawns I've ever had, and the diablo sauce on top just made everything better. The Navajo Bread was warm and the right amount of crisp, and with a load of butter, it was nothing short of epic. It left a sweet aftertaste, though, forcing me to wait for some time before trying the next dish. The margaritas were perfect - strong, tasty, robust, and limey! I tried the pear one, and it was my favorite of all the others. In the entrée section, I was able to try the Sonoran Spa Chicken and Brisket Burrita Leñera. The Spa Chicken looked mouthwatering! It was plated nicely and definitely looked the price. It was the first time I was trying chicken and mushroom, and my god, they went so well together. The sautéed spinach, vegetable escabeche, cotija cheese, pepitas, sunshine mojo, and lime chimichurri came perfectly together to make an excellent dish. Spa Chicken was definitely a 5/5. The Brisket Burrito was amazing and HUGE! The brisket had a smokey flavor, was soft and tender, and went excellent with jack cheese, guacamole, pico de gallo, rice, and beans. I was not able to finish the whole thing. A solid 4.5/5. In the end, we got the Tres Leches Cake and Three Milk Cuban Flan. The cake was so tender it almost melted when I took a bite. The Flan was profoundly creamy! Both were a perfect 5/5. I would highly recommend getting any one of these. Food: 4.5/5 Drinks: 4/5 Dessert: 5/5 Service: 4/5 Overall: 4/5 Price: $$

Came here after a hiking trip so you know we were RAVENOUS. Unfortunately, we learned the consequences of excess the hard way. We called to join the waitlist ahead of time. When we got seated it was pretty hard to flag down waiters to order (however I believe this was due to the pandemic and staffing shortages, so I won't hold it against them.) We got the chips to share, which was pretty standard fare. I appreciated how they were unlimited, although I'm still confused about the pricing--we intended to get two orders for our group, then our waiter told us the price was a one-time price for the entire table, but each pair of diners got charged for the chips anyways. I shared the butternut squash enchiladas and the portobello mushroom fajitas with a friend. Both were pricey but came in huge portions, but I would have preferred to pay less for a smaller portion. Both also came with a massive mound of rice and beans that were relatively flavorless and were my least favorite part of the meal. Portobello mushroom fajitas (7/10): The mushrooms came on a sizzling plate with a side of tortillas and toppings like lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, and avocado. It was fun putting them together and the mushrooms had a nice char to them. Pretty expensive for the ingredients. Butternut squash enchiladas (5/10): I was really excited for this because I didn't know what to expect. What I received was a dish with identity crisis--was it a lasagna? A pizza? A taco? It certainly didn't taste or look like enchiladas. I knew butternut squash would give it a sweeter flavor profile but even the sauce was overly sweet, which was a weird mix with the mound of cheese. The sauce also drowned the tortillas and made them super soggy. Overall, while I appreciate the ambience of Cactus, the food was disappointing for the price we paid.

I am astounded by the 5 star reviews I am seeing for this restaurant. I went there for lunch today and it was god awful. If you know anything about Mexican food, you know this food is not it. Take a look at the picture of the Austin style guac. It's cold, dried Velveeta cheese on plain avocado. It looks like throw up. And it tastes how it looks. Do not shame Austin like that. I barely touched my tacos. Flavorless. The thing I loved the most about this restaurant was the water. Eat somewhere else. I still tipped the waitress 20% because it's not her fault.

Cactus is one of my all time favorites! I never have really gotten anything besides the chicken fried chicken, their queen is fabulous and service is usually pretty quick. Clean, calm environment. Would always recommend

The service was great and fast once we were seated. My entree was fine, but I didn't love it. My group had a good time over all.
