i was very dissatisfied in the food that cost 60 bucks for eggplant and fish dish ( on sun night at 530pm they were out of fresh fish so we got the frozen talapia sour krout it has no taste then it got substituted to crispy chicken which was fried unhealthy all batter and no meat i went there first time the fresh fish which was boiled and they bring it whole on top of noodles in a bowl with green beans was amazing so second time was horrible except for the eggplant but that one was very oily

We found this place by chance! So good. Nice staff. We had eggplant, cumin lamb, homestyle tofu, all great, green onion pancakes- served without vinegar and soy dipping was the only lackluster thing. Jasmine tea, soft and comforting, next to the firey food.

As someone who grew up with Sichuanese parents and grew up eating Sichuan food, I came here excited for good food. I was sorely disappointed by a number of things. First and foremost, this was not Sichuan food but a lazy label slapped across what is mediocre Chinese food at best— the spice and depth in flavor were severely lacking. What they lack in flavor was made up for decent portion sizes, but why provide extra of food that is already poor in quality? The 水煮牛肉 (boiled spicy beef) I ordered came out in a large dish with a giant chip along the border. Immensely greasy, the texture of the beef was spongy and the broth was bland with no flavor profile other than slightly spicy (spicy being an understatement). I also ordered the cumin lamb. It had the flavor of a piece of paper— slight flavor of cumin was all that there really was. Nothing special, and definitely not something I would order again. I also ordered two dry pots (one with large intestine and one with spareribs)— absolutely nothing noteworthy other than how bland it was. Finally, I ordered their buns with condensed milk. The greasy dough balls dipped in condensed milk was disappointingly the “best” part about the dinner. The food shows up decently in photos if you turn the exposure all the way up in the weak fluorescent lighting of the restaurant with bare walls save for a few framed photos. There was nothing special about the service either, as you put in your own order on your phone and they just bring the food out. This place was disappointing at best. I will not be recommending this place to anyone, nor will I be returning.

The food is not fresh, I ordered four dishes, the fish is clearly not fresher and also seasoned well, even they used a lot of cooking wine, we can still smell the unfreshess. The same applies to the beef. The tofu seasoned too much.

Sichuan cuisine is an over-used and abused claim in the US, to the point that it's lost its meaning. Now when one reads "Sichuan" one does not consider that they'll be eating anything special. Dan Gui can change that.Like the hundreds, if not thousands of times before, I did not expect anything distinctively Sichuan at Dan Gui. Much to my delight I was very wrong. Dan Gui proved to be a culinary delight that I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone with a discerning palate seeking an outstanding meal.To be clear, living in the US, I myself am not experienced with actual Sichuan cuisine. However, if Dan Gui is authentic, then I can instantly understand why Sichuan is so famous, with peppercorn seasoning was so very distinctive and flavorful that one cannot imagine any other way one word use the spice. In our visit we had the braised fish, lamb, and vegetables. I cannot wait to try others when I return.

The food was amazing, this has to be the best Chinese food I have ever tried. We ordered the orange chicken, along with the shredded pork that came with soft buns, and the chicken soup. Everything was just amazing, when we ordered the orange chicken again for us to deliver it to our ski lodge in Snoqualmie, my little sister, who is obsessed with orange chicken, replied with “no words” after trying what she believed was the best orange chicken in the world. Apart from that, the atmosphere was amazing and words cannot explain how I felt last night when we went here.

Today I went to Danguixuan in Bellevue on a date with a friend. I tried the newly produced Vine Pepper Maoxuewang and it was very good??. The green pepper flavor of Maoxuewang is delicious. The soup is delicious, with the aroma of green pepper and a little numbing. , the spiciness is just right, especially suitable for me who loves Sichuan food, it makes people have endless aftertaste♾️! It’s a pity that I asked to take photos?
