I have been going here for years and it has remained pretty much the same. Consistent in their food prep and always busy. Matsa ball soup is wonderful as are the many breakfast options and of course great Bagels! Hard to get a table here, but once you have one, it's a fun people watching location. Pricing is their achilles heal, it's expensive, but they don't lack for customers due to there quality. Sharing a breakfast is recommended as the portions are large! Enjoy!!! The service is the worst I have seen, don’t recommend wasting time and arrive there because the menu items and availability are not right and they decide what to serve when so you will end up searching for a last minute

When I travel I always seek out local places with wholesome food and good vibes - such at Gilbert’s on Main - highly recommend for breakfast / lunch and in between. What I loved: food was great, order and pay at the counter, free flow of self service coffee and water - nice and cozy local vibe. Walking distance from most downtown Bellevue hotel
