I don’t know why the review score is relatively low. I think it is the most cost-effective and delicious barbecue in Seattle. The lean roast duck for 17 dollars is definitely enough for two people to eat for a long time. This time I went shopping at Baijia and ate their beef sesame noodles. The sesame noodles were super warm and glutinous. The beef cubes were huge and plentiful. The soup was also very delicious. I will try the beef tendon and radish next time. The barbecued pork is just average. The color of the red yeast rice is not good and the sweetness is not enough. The meat is quite good, with obvious fat and thin layers.I also bought a chicken drumstick for $6. The hair was not clean, but it tasted good and the meat was quite tender.

Inconsistent hit or miss food. A few times we went it was very good but this time it was bad. This time we purchased century egg and pork congee and there was no pork in it.Just tiny yellow bits of things that looked very questionable. Pork shavings at best, we couldn't really tell what it was. We stirred the bowl looking for actual meat pieces and didn't find any. The last times there were substantial strips of pork similar to the small ones you'd find in stir fry. The congee was also very bland compared to last time. Some pieces of egg tasted off.Pork liver congee, some of the meat didn't taste fresh, some of it tasted fine. However, ALL your food should taste fresh. Especially in the same dish. Maybe it wasn't as good because it was a weekend day and they were busy, but even if that's the case, that's no excuse. Really disappointed.Service is adequate. Staff is kind of brusque but that's not really surprising, especially if you don't look like you know Mandarin or Cantonese. I think some of them are not aware of how obvious the favoritism is for those who speak Canto. Understandably people are more comfortable with people they can relate to but when some people are VERY obviously getting served better than others, it just doesn't look good.

Ordered roast duck. Nice food and even nicer staff. Reminds me of all the good old memories from HK.

Our family always enjoy the roast duck from this place; the flavor is quite impressive. Personally, I prefer the leaner duck. If the slices could be thinner, that would be better. And regarding the sweet bean sauce or the orange sauce(?), I suggest making it a standard complimentary offering rather than requiring customers to request it separately.I believe that the cost of sauce itself isn't particularly high. Offering it as a standard complimentary addition enhances the core flavor of the roast duck. This could potentially attract more repeat business, creating a win-win scenario.

#35. Roast pork noodle & vegetables with broth on the side.Simple. Noodle not overcooked, and lightly sauce (Hoisin) with steam lettuce, no other vegetables and broth added flavor and soften up the noodle. Broth had a lightly season flavor but not too salty. Pork has good flavor but wish could be warmer and skin crispy.Service was good, and the American person can speak Chinese, impressed. Definitely a regular lunch spot now. Solid 3.5!

Waited for 40mins for two pounds pork and one duck. They were keeping service the customer making online order and put off the orders made in store. Even for the order made in store, they were not severed by the order number. Based on my observation, the pork and duck did not run out. However, they kept skipping mine and some other folks' order. Interestingly, some ones' order with duck or pork but came later than me got severed very quickly. Customers waited around were upset. When I got mine, the pork was not warm at all and it had been cooked for some time and had not been kept warm properly. Their serving was chaos, without transparency on the waiting time and unprofessional. You have to argue what was wrong with your order to get you order back in the right place. The food was just ok, you can get it in any Chinese barbecue store. nothing impressed me.This store does not worth the time and money. Never come again considering the bad customer service.

I came here a couple of times and got food Togo. The foods are good and the service was friendly. It was busy at midday and I had to wait about 20 minutes for the food. The wonton noodles soup was delicious! I appreciate the soup and noodles were in separate containers so that the noodles didn't get soggy. Soup was still hot when I got home l, about 15 minutes drive. Had the chubby roasted duck and the flavor was tasty, a bit on the salty side though; plenty of tender moist meat that were nicely chopped in even pieces, and the skin didn't really have fatty layers which I was happy with! Another time, my friends and I came about 5 minutes before closing time on a Sunday evening; the staff was still friendly and took the 3 of our orders to go. It is in a clean and comfortable space but not much seating for eating there.

The braised beef noodle soup was excellent! The meat was nice and tender and noodles were perfectly cooked and chewy. The broth was also tasty. My only complaint was that I couldn’t add in some wontons. You had to order a separate order for wontons.

I first came here to grab something to eat while waiting for my oil change. I got the Roast Pork w/ Rice, and it was good. It had a good amount of meat and rice with a side of veggies. And they added a bit of sauce so it had some extra flavor. I later tried their Roast Pork again, the BBQ Pork Spare Ribs, and the Vegetable w/ Oyster Sauce, which we ordered for delivery. Everything was good, except they forgot to put oyster sauce on the vegetables. Next, I want to try their noodles.

I ordered roasted pork 1 lb and half chubby duck for family lunch. Everything is cold and roasted pork has bone in every pieces. The taste is from leftovers from last night. Roasted pork and duck is pretty dry and chewy . Roasted pork skin is rubbery. Such a terrible experience and hope I won't get sick from it. We only ate half of them and throw it in the garbage. Please beware to open a box before you leave from this place

Beware, they will give you left over previous day duck if you don’t watch them! Tell them exactly which one you want and make sure you watch them. Food is good if it’s fresh. But they hide the day old stuff behind the counter and will give you the old stock. Poor business ethics. If it wasn’t the fact that there is no bbq place in Bellevue for take out I wouldn’t come here.

Their BBQ taste good but I don't agree with the way they weight their meat. My family had supported them 4-5 times already but there is a fishy cheating when they charge for what we buy.First, every time we purchased a whole duck and asked them to chop, they can fit everything into a very small box with a nice close. However, when we buy a bbq duck from Uwajimaya, we can see that they cannot even fit that duck into their big container, which is almost double size with the Noodle House restaurant. How did they do this magic with a whole duck??? We cannot see the chopping area like Uwajimaya at all because they cover it already. Two days ago, when I stopped by to buy 2lbs of roasted pork with the price $16.99/lb. After that, I tried to weight it when I got home, and the amount I hot was 1.9lbs including the bottom of the container. If we take all the meat out, I guess we can have only 1.8lbs or less. I know that most of the restaurants, they used to weight the meat before they put them into the container, but this restaurant they also count the weight of the box. That is cheating because their price is not cheap at all. I know 0.2lb is not that much to complain but what if this amount multiply for hundreds & thousands bills???This will be the last time I support this restaurant, no more in the future.
