I ordered the medium sizzling dry hot pot (mala, with beef short rib, medium spicy). Medium spicy wasn't particularly spicy, but I don't think that's their fault -- I just wanted to err on the side of safety but probably could have been bolder :). The portion is HUGE! I've never tried their other dish except the sizzling dry hot pot. I personally love the mala spice they use. It's so flavorful and tasty I do think it is on the salty side just like what the other reviewers say but as long as you have rice to eat it with, it's not that bad. With the extra sides I added in the pot, it came down to about $80 with tax and tips. It can be pricey but the portion is huge and the leftovers lasted me several days. I'm no stranger to Sizzling Pot King, as I have also tried the other location in Seattle Chinatown district, and I have to say I personally prefer the location in Chinatown. We arrived on a Friday around dinner time (~7pm) and were seated promptly. Not surprising, there were not as many people dining at the restaurant and it looked like majority of orders were to go/online.
