Came in around 1pm on a Sunday! Completely empty and we were able to get delicious bibimbap in hot stone pots! About $15 each. I chose the seafood and my 3 other friends had beef. It was delicious and I loved the miso soup and side dishes (came in a cute tray) that came with it. Quick and friendly service. Very lowkey place next to the eastgate ride and share, highly recommended. Ps. Korean bbq prices are a lot more pricey, so that's why we did normal entrees

Food was not bad. Beef bugoglgi was good and tasty. Pricing is expensive and not worth the value of what you are paying for. Quality of 0 Service: 6/10 - they don't tell you that you can box up the food and take away at the end. Even though the menus says you can't. Pricing: 3/10 way to expensive Cleanliness: 5/10 Professional look: 3/10 place is old, out dated and doesn't make you feel comfortable

As someone that has been spoiled by the LA Korean food scene, I admittedly am a bit of a snob when it comes to Korean cuisine. Southgate definitely made the grade!! First off, the interior immediately makes you feel at home, classic Korean restaurant interior. Bbq tables have vent hoods which does wonders in minimizing the smell of meat on your clothes.
