The food is absolutely incredible. We had the smoked lentil dahl fry and the flavor was unique and intense. The dosas are light and crispy and come with great dipping sauces. We like a lot of spice, and they use the perfect amount.The service is friendly and efficient. The restaurant is clean. I don't know how much of my experience at Tamarindos is contextual, but I had a truly transcendent masala dosa and chai today. I have not eaten inside of a restaurant since February 2020 (it's now October 2021). Today I had a long gap between home visits of clients and instead of picking up a sad sandwich at Safeway, I decided to treat myself to a carry out. Ordered take out from here recently, and food was just ok. The quantity is not great either. Typically me and my roommate can easily eat in one order of paneer from a.y Indian restaurant. but this was only enough for 1 person. Not a fan of this place
