TLTR: Poor business management and ethicsThis review is solely based on their online ordering/execution/fulfillment, or the lack of. Recently they launched their limited time Pho flavored dumplings. I ordered a bag for about $45 and to save the shipping costs, I opted for self pick-up at their Bellevue location. I never received an order confirmation email. That was already a bad sign. I contacted them through the chatting feature and the chatting agent said my order was successful and that it is ready for pick-up at Bellevue.I didn't have time to go right away. I paid for the order, so I wasn't too worried. (There is no disclaimer on their website about pickup time frames.) About a week later, I called the Bellevue store to make sure my order was still there. The gal on the phone said my order was there and WILL BE AVAILABLE till I get there. I told her I will be there in a few days. I finally make my way there to get my order and the employee said "Your order is not here. We are out of the pho dumplings." She couldn't explain clearly what had happened, but basically my paid goods were sold to another customer without me getting notified first of my order getting canceled/refunded. Feeling frustrated, I called customer service. The lady was quite cheerful and kept apologizing for the "mishap", but also couldn't provide a solid explanation on why my purchased goods were sold to someone else without my prior acknowledgement. This is not how you do business!! She gave me a refund, but I wasted my time going there only to find out my paid goods were sold to someone else.

There’s only two restaurants in the court - XCJ and a poke place. I placed my order on the iPads in front and waited. The pan fried pork buns were good, crispy, and very juicy however the meat was rubbery. The sweet and savory noodle (zha Jiang mian) was way too sweet and the veggies were very soft - I would not recommend this dish.

1. Salty - both jianbin and noodles were overpowered by saltiness. We selected extra spicy option for the jianbin and the result was a jianbin that was smothered by a chilli oil similar to laoganma (a popular Chinese chilli oil brand) - see picture of oil residue in tin foil. The dandan noodle on the other hand was unconventionally not spicy and seemed to contain too much salt or soy sauce.2. Portion size - specifically for the dandan noodle. Definitely not worth the $12!3. Value - in spite of increased cost of living, neither the flavour nor the amount of food justified the high price for me.Overall the fried buns were the best out of the food we ordered since the soup dumplings were mediocre at best. It would be a stretch for me to recommend this establishment; especially if you were travelling from far away as you may leave disappointed.

Food alright nothing special. Portion sizes are sad though especially for them noodles. Def not a cheap lunch unless you on a diet and ordering light helps your goals.

The shengjian stinks, and they put mayo in the jian bing, the h. Chili oil is not spicy at all, tasted like pure MSG oil. 5 Dumplings for $13 they should’ve done much better.

So happy with the fried dumplings, so delish, great crunch then so juicy inside. Great and fast service, Winston was really helpful making sure that my frozen dumplings would stay frozen. He packed it well with ice, appreciate that as I live a bit far from Bellevue. Will come back and recommend to friends.

This review is just for the Sheng Jian Bao. This is no where close to the real deal you get in Shanghai. Ugly, oily and gross. For the price, i expected top notch, what a disappointment.

Anytime we head to the east side we always inevitable end up stopping here for sheng jian bao. Delicious, juicy, crunchy, so so good. Also thrilled they've brought the jian bing back.

Literally the most authentic Chinese food I've tried so far, their new release is amazing - Luroufan, just the best!!!

This popular and viral dumpling place lives up to the hype. Sheng jian baos- truly are the best item. Each is delicately made and seasoned. If you're going to order one dish, this is it. Xiao long baos- not bad! Given how these are serviced in a to go container, these aren't bad! Not the best I've ever had but they certainly do the trick. Maybe a little pricey but not terrible This is in a casual food court style place so you can have fun with mix and matching food from other spots.

YES!! I finally made it out to XCJ! I first found out about them through their frozen soup dumplings which I think are incredibly easy and delicious to make. But then, I read about how they were actually locally famous for their SJB. It’s a style that I had in Shanghai 10 years ago - thin not doughy wrapper with soup inside with the meat/veggie filling and fried/steamed like a pot sticker. Having grown up with the fluffy bao version, my mind was blown by this style which I was eager to try XCJ’s version. I was absolutely in love with their SJB! Large SJBs with LOTS of soup. We had to be careful not to squirt soup across the table when biting (which happened). Great flavors all around. Our friends and my family ordered so many of them! I hope they can figure out a way to do deliver SJBs frozen. I’m a little hesitant to experiment with the frozen soup dumplings pan-fried potsticker style, but maybe that will work back in Austin.

Was very pleasantly surprised by this spot. They have a very small menu but everything was quite good. Even their XLB!Probably a very similar vibe and cuisine to dough zone nearby, but nice to have this as a second option if I'm feeling something different. Our favorite was the Dan Dan noodle, and I really appreciate it. The fast and almost automated service. You can order on a tablet or order ahead and they have utensils, sauce and bags all on the counter for you to take.Cute little food court area with the poke spot nearby. Definitely can see this being a great place to stop and pick up a quick lunch.

This is a Chinese street food stall in the back of the food court in SOMA tower in Bellevue and the pork XLB here are to die for. I try to make this a regular stop whenever I’m in Bellevue (since the basement parking garage is super convenient), but I just learned they also ship frozen dumplings in bulk to your door so I am so excited to make these at home!
