“We have been eating Holly's meat pies for many years. They're a great fast dinner when pressed for time, or just lazy. We usually get a dozen at a time which lasts us 4 months or so. (I ration them!) Highly recommend!The three stars for "atmosphere" is just because there is no in-store eating area. You can get a to-go pie heated up, though. Odd that Google only allows me to recommend "All the vegetarian pasties." Everything is good!“

Amazing beer selection on tap including Russian River as well as a few mixed drinks on tap and bottles to make drinks (seldom happens). I have had all of the tacos and most of the sandwiches. They are all nicely put together with good ingredients, and the pricing is the norm of expensive for these days in a place such as Bellingham. Staff are an eclectic crowd and generally very friendly, welcoming and interesting if there is a minute to chat.“

The secret is they're deep fried, and glazed with a balsamic vinegar. pairs perfectly with the crispy bacon.French Dip - Why did I enjoy this so much? the beef was succulent, soft, but flavorful. the dipping sauce was a nice salty kick, the bread was chewy and crispy. The best part according to my 5 year old were the tempura green beans. It was like eating green french fries!Crab mac and cheese - eh you can give this a skip. At the time it was the only nonsmoking bar in town and that was a great draw. I would likely go back in fewer than 30 more years when I make my way back to Bham!“

“This is an old school poker room with a bar and small restaurant attached. Nothing fancy but definitely a local hang out and a great staff. The bar has good selection of drinks and you can play Pull Tabs. Multiple TV's to watch NFL Sunday ticket and watch all the games. We go on Sunday mornings to watch football and have breakfast. OK to take kids if you stay in the restaurant area.“

Found this cute little sandwich place , As we walked in we got greeted with this young man, he was very friendly asking if we had any questions and if we’ve ever been in before, which we had not! Gave us recommendations and told us what was good! Which if y’all haven’t tried the fat cow or the fat maverick! So good!!! We ordered our food and waited what felt like not even 10 minutes and our food was out to the table! Which at a place like this I was expecting to have to go up and get it! Nope another man brought it out to the table! As it was being cooked and finished it came out! We finished up and as we were walking out the same gentleman (General manager) that brought out our food stopped us and asked how everything was! Which we then replied it was so delicious ? we got to talking and then figured out he was the GM he gave us a couple coupons and told us to come back soon! Very very friendly staff!! “One of the greatest Mom-and-pop joints i’ve ever been to!! I went with my brother around the holidays just to grab a quick bite and really surprised me with how good the food was. I got a station burger with a shake and fries and the burger is small (only a 1/6 lb patty) but packed one heck of a flavor. Their station sauce was real good and the shake was thick and topped with plentiful of whipped cream. The environment was a 70’s style truck stop and jazz music played throughout the joint. My experience was just wonderful!!! 10/10 would highly recommend.“

“We've been wanting to try this place out for over a year now and it seems like we always came here on Mondays when it's closed. Went out on a Sunday afternoon and the place wasn't too busy and the service was prompt and the food was prompt an excellent. Will definitely come back here to try more dishes but so far the seafood puttanesca and cheddar burger as well as the mushroom Swiss burger were excellent. Their garlic fries and sweet potato fries are really good. Try the cream brulee! Definitely more on the menu to look forward to and try out for the next few visits.“

Oysters are yummy. Everything they make is just delicious. Brussel Sprouts are a go to. The cocktails are yummy even though I do wish they would bring back that ginger one they used to have. That was my favorite.Staff is always kind, atmosphere is comfortable and easy on the eyes, even the chattering of locals is nice and I've engaged in many fun conversations here.
