“A friend took me there last week. I Had probably the best margarita ever, plus snacks. I wanted to bring my wife there yesterday but it was in a terribly hard to find location So I checked their web site, and it only mentioned their older locution, 30 miles south. So I called the older location (it's a family business, I think). That older location told me the new one didn't have a web site yet, even tough its been open for 5 months. They gave me the new own's phone number so I called it. I spoke to "the manager" and told her the new one didn't have a web sit. She said yes it did. She old me was wrong. I said I wasn't and she argued with me about it. Finally she said "look it up" which what was I had done. Their Bellingham location is death to any restaurant (at the end of a dead end road You'd have to drive past a Starbucks, a pizza joint, and Applebee's before you'd see this up ahead, at the dead end. Good luck, COA! I think you'll fail with that attitude and location.“
“Absolutely our favorite place in Bellingham. I mean we go multiple times a week. It is so dang good. Not a fancy place! Go knowing what you want already, and it is not a place to ask for waiters to keep coming back. It's not bad service it's just not how that place works!! Appreciate it for what it is and eat your delicious food. Even if it wasn't as cheap as it is i would keep coming back because it is so good. And no the tacos aren't all $1 any more. Name a place you can get cheaper tacos I'll wait.“
“We have been coming to this restaurant for 25 years. It is consistently good with excellent service and fair prices. We drive from Vancouver Canada to eat at this restaurant for lunch and always take something with us to eat at home, because it is that good.“
“The food is great and the service staff are always friendly with an atmosphere that isn't too intimidating. The price can be a bit much it feels like but ultimately it's still well worth the stop if you find yourself lookin for a solid food truck.Parking: Parking is very good, they have a large open space so you don't have to worry about getting too cramped but the parking lot does have some potholes to look out for, especially if your vehicle is lowered.Kid-friendliness: The times I've brought my niece with me it's been a safe environment that I didn't feel worried or concerned exposing her to thanks to the friendliness of the staff.“
“It is my first time trying the Chile Verde and I'm not disappointed! The meat is well cooked and the corn wrap is perfect, moist and warm! Tacos are great! The kids size Cheese Quesadilla is of good portion too. Horchata is on point. I'll be back!“
“The service was phenomenal, I arrived with a group of 20+ people and we were sat immediately on a Friday night. The servers then proceeded to give us more chips the minute we ran out. I ordered the Special Burrito with no Tomatoes and it came in under 10 minutes. It was truly the best burrito I have ever eaten. I highly recommend this Restaurant.“
“Loved this little spot to eat, the food was super delicious & the lady that took our order was super helpful and the cooks did a fantastic job at preparing our food for us. I will definitely go back there when I go back into town and I would highly recommend you to go try their delicious food.“
“Amazing spot, hadn’t been in years but still just as good as ever. Great veggie options, and some of the best vegan queso I’ve ever had. Definitely a spot to hit anytime I’m in Bellingham.Vegetarian options: Almost all dishes can be made vegetarian/vegan aside from the meat dishes“
“This location is above fast food standards. The space is clean!Even the bathrooms and the window panes!! The staff is professional, working hard and curtious. The food was surprising!Right out of the car it smelled good - not usually the case with fast food. And the response upon first bites: "tastes just like when we make it at home". There is even a shnazzy fireplace And they tastefully decorated over Christmas. Bravo staff and owners and Thank you for a pleasant meal! We didn't get great pictures in today but highly recommend stopping in here Before shopping at Costco ;)“
“Great staff, busy place. I like to meet friends here, although you could easily go it alone and sit at one of the large pick nic style tables, and perhaps make a new friend. The staff and service is helpful- casual dining in or take out. Good salad choices, veg. options. Anything Carnitas (my favorite), and yummy drinks; fresca y horchata, and (cocktail or mocktail) if you're not a beer drinker.“
“My sister and I were in the area knew that when in the States, one must try to find Mexican food! We drove right into the parking lot and the staff told us that we could park anywhere. We ordered 2 x cheese tacos to share and OMG, let's just say that we went back to order more after we were done. I loved the satisfying cheese "crust" outside of the taco shell! It's truly a level up from the regular taco, even though the "regular" taco is always fire as well! We ordered the pork tacos and chorizo! I love smothering everything in salsa verde. The staff members were so extremely friendly. It's not the fanciest I have to warn you, because you order from a food truck and there are small tables set up in a parking lot. and there might not be a place to sit (we were lucky because there was 1 table available), but the food was super delicious!“
“Solid carne asada, try their avocado crema on your burrito, it's fantastic! Friendly and inviting and they have awesome specials! They Actually have a taco Tuesday, wednesday they have nacho specials, Thursday is torta day, and they even have their Own potato burrito! Excellent drink selection if you want to celebrate, and when they put your order in, you get your food lightning fast! Yippee! Thank you for the delicious food it made my night so much I got another one for my friend too! YUM! ??“
“Chips and salsa- simple and delicious. Sauce is clearly homemade Pozole- super thick stew. Only two pieces of beef sadly but it was super tender. Tamales combo- ok but wouldn't get again. Tacos- SO. GOOD. The pastor was really good. So were the carnitas. The fajitas are a must get (choice of flour if corn tortilla) and the enchiladas were excellent too. Cheap and authentic Mexican food. What more could you ask for?“
“I really enjoyed my meal here. I had two chicken enchiladas, rice, and beans. I'm not normally a refried beans person, but these were well seasoned and I really liked them. I also really liked their enchilada sauce and they had great salsa.“
“Taco was awesome! They were quite friendly. Has a meat market one side and restaurant in other side to each other. Taco is not a 1 dollar it is 1.50 due to usual cost of living increase. Birria shredded beef taco was awesome. It came with sauce but its like soup you can drink. All taco Taste is not strong its close to natural taste which is close to local mexican foods!! Awesome choice!!“
“Came in tonight for some eats, ordered camarone el patron and the food was fast and delicious! They do have new owners and it is all family members working here, everyone was very friendly and smiling, so if you have a chance come down and support locals!“
“It was my first time visiting this place and was pleasantly surprised. We had the Menudo (only available on Saturday), Lengua & Asada tacos, and a tamale. Everything was very good. Tamale was moist and tasty. My wife loved the Menudo and said it was very tender and yummy. Prices are reasonable for the amount of food you get. There is plenty of meat in the tacos. Definitely worth giving them a try if you have not yet. It can be a little challenging to get I to the parking area, but don't be deterred. It's worth it. There is also a drive thru in case you are in a hurry.“
“Great taco truck, very clean! Friendly people (related to the El Rinconcito Family Restaurant) They serve fresh, large, delicious portions. Parks downtown by the old Whatcom Museum. Open later- for after you leave the venues downtown! ??⭐?“
“We had the Street Tacos and Enchiladas with mole. The Asada and Lengua tacos were quite good, benefitting from perfect tender big juicy cuts overflowing each taco. The Pollo was shredded and more dry, we added the spicy red sauce and tangy green sauce to compensate. The shredded beef Enchilada is really good, perhaps the mole sauce was a bit bitter but may not always be that way. I will be back to try the rest of the menu, delicious.“
“Great quality tacos with a reasonable price tag. My pro tip is to get extras to go (with toppings on the side) and have it for the next meal/next day heated up. There are some picnic tables (covered) for dining in. Some of the best tacos in the area.“
“We arrived early, they were just opening, so we were able to explore the different rooms of the restaurant, very cozy and very clean. The girl who served us was very friendly and the food was served quite quickly. I loved the stuffed chili and the sauce it came in, delicious. My husband really enjoyed his Menudo and my daughter, who is piqui, also ate everything and even stole the rice from my plate. Totally recommended“
“Consistently the best fast food, cleanest interior and the friendliest staff in the state. It's nice to have fast food that tastes fresh and well-prepared. Love their vegan options - rice and beans are prepared vegan, and there's lots of mix-ins like black bean and corn salsa. They always get special orders exactly right, serve it hot and with a smile. Great healthful choices, too.“
“As someone who lived in LA and Texas, I hear a lot of grievances about “real” Mexican. Pues…This place has an amazing wet burrito. The sauce is delicious, sharp, and full of flavor. The burrito is packed full of wonderful ingredients and for those that are like “potatoes in a burrito”??? Y’all realize potatoes are indigenous to the Americas. The shop is crisp and simple and they have Jarritos and true Coca-Cola. Their nachos r dope and their other burritos r pretty darn good for the price.“
“I challenge anyone to find a better value for money in Washington. Great prices, great portions, and most importantly: great food. Got 2 fish tacos, chips and pico, and was unable to finish. Wasn’t expecting the chips to be such a big portion, but no complaints from me there ?“
“It's in a parking lot by Hardwood Sales hardware store. After you order, it could take up to 15 minutes to get your food, but you do have a beautiful view of contractors and people parking their cars going in and out of the hardware store. But we are here for the food not the scenery. I assume most people get their burritos and tacos to go. The portions are pretty tasty and pretty sizable enough to be full, especially after you down a large horchata.“
“I’ve been dinning in and ordering out from this restaurant for a little over 20 years. In that time the service has been very good. The staff has been friendly, efficient, dependable, even kind.Over 20+ years the food has been consistently well prepared and and plated. We know that whether it’s take out or dine in we are going to eat very well & have plenty to spare!“
“My parents absolutely love this place. They go there at least 2-3 times a week. The staff is like family to them, they know their orders by heart and welcome all their family in as if extended family. It's a very nice restaurant. The hill to get in and out is a bit much, minor detail. Other than that, it's a nice cozy little restaurant.“
“El Sueñito is one of my favorite places to spend my money in Bellingham. I love the bright and yummy Mexican representation this place contributes to the community. Girl, we talking like Mexican-owned!Food? Amazing. Drinks? Delish. Music? Falls short, honestly. As a Mexican American, I want to feel like one establishment in town is playing beats for ME! I'm not asking for an all Spanish set list, but there are some incredible Latino artists to incorporate that won't scare away the crowds. Just sayin.“
