“I come here on rare occasions, usually with family. They don't really enjoy coming here since it's usually "too loud" but I've never noticed that being an issue. Sure, the ambient noise on the weekends can be a little above average, but it's a bar. Bars aren't necessarily meant to be quiet spaces anyway...I had a basket of chicken strips. I was in a little bit of a rush to eat as I had a court hearing to attend shortly after my meal. It took about 10 minutes to get my food, which I was very thrilled with! I'm used to waiting upwards of 20+ minutes for food to be served at most other places.Food received was great! I had no complaints.Service was top-notch, and the server was very polite and professional in appearance.I definitely will aim to make this one of my main go-to places in Kitsap!“
“I am not a drinker and do not frequent bars. From the outside The Garage gives the impression of a dark place to drink. Inside it is very open, bright and welcoming. The food is excellent with large portions, quick service, with an energizing atmosphere and friendly staff. I've been back with my fiancé and will come again.“
“First time here and will not be the last. I had a Mushroom Swiss burger and a homemade milkshake. The fries were so good and crunchy! My Mushroom Swiss burger was prepared perfectly, and was so hot I had to wait a few minutes to eat it. If you are craving a Homestyle Burger and handmade milkshake, this is the place to go.“
“A local bar with friendly bar tenders and bar food. There's a live music stage that hosts good tunes. Many local brews and friendly bartenders that personalize your experience.Vegetarian options: The servers/cooks will work to make your experience as vege friendly as you want“
“I leave 4 stars because I've ordered in the past and gotten great food. Today? I blame the delivery service. So here is my recommendation to just go to the restaurant, as I will in the future. The inedible cold food I got today looked stellar, and was very generously portioned. I love the fact they do homemade hash as well as tinned and let you know--I admit I love a crispy tinned corned beef, but I want to expect it.“
“I've been here at least once or twice a month for about 4 months and I LOVE it here. I usually come for karaoke saturdays and the vibes are fantastic. The staff and clientele are always super nice, the arcade games and pinball are fun, the drinks are good (big fan of the huckleberry lemonade) and it's just an all around great atmosphere and place to be. I always feel at home here.“
“The chicken fried steak was absolutely MASSIVE, tasty, and inexpensive! My wife had French toast, bacon, and eggs, and our bill was only $25. Service was excellent - they even volunteered to bring me new eggs-over-medium because my yolks had broken in route to the table!“
“Just went Saturday night and got the steak. It was exactly what I was hoping for. Love Pfriem Pilsner and they had it. Had a cup of coffee after dinner that was great, and the old lady had an Amaro post dinner. Pretty much the only place I go when I try and have a nice evening out.“
“Simple and delicious. You won’t find fancy, gourmet food here and the wait may be a little longer than you’d like, but it’s always worth it in the end.A longtime staple of Kitsap that continues to age well while providing that nostalgia of times past in their food.Parking: If you aren’t there during a major meal rush, parking isn’t an issue.“
“The fried food here is awesome and that's what you should get if you go here.Mixed drinks can vary in quality based on the bar tender though.Service is pretty good. I've never felt like it was slow or the servers were rude.I love to play billiards here and my 2 year old has a good time.Kid-friendliness: They have little bouncy horses, not sure what they are called, but my son loves it here.“
“I'm giving this 5-star review based on their breakfast menu. My wife and I make it here once or twice a month for their Dungeness Crab Benedict (or their salmon Benedict special when available), and it never disappoints. Plenty of crab heaped on the English muffin, the poached egg is usually perfect, and the hollandaise is delicious. The booths are a little tight, but there is plenty of table space, and the waitstaff are always friendly and wrlcoming.“
“This is my go-to local restaurant! I've tried 80% of their menu items, and they make changes every 2 months or so from what I could tell. The menu is outstanding. The Elk Burger is a great choice. A personal favorite is the Honey Brown Cake. Pictured is the latest addition of the Truffle Prime Rib.Typically, there will be a seasonal or special drink menu, which most people can find a drink they'll like off of it. They have 20 beers on tap at a time and a large bar to accommodate anyone's needs.Vegetarian options: Limited options, but high quality.Wheelchair accessibility: Stairs are indoors to a separate lower part of the restaurant. However, a door is available on the exterior accessible from the sidewalk.“
“Best restaurant in Bremerton. Hands down. That's saying a lot as I've never had Korean food before and there are many fine Hawaiian, Mediterranean, Tex-Mex, and East Asian restaurants in this town, and even a few good hamburger joints. But this is the best.“
