“Food and drinks are always top notch, especially the duck poutine fries, brisket dip, or triple pig pizza. Service is always friendly, but can be spotty when it's busy. My only words of caution are: Visit when the weather is nice. Their seating is basically an enclosed patio and can get a little chilly... but they do provide blankets and heaters to try and keep you comfortable.“
“Love this local farm to table place. $$$ for 2, no drinks; but everything was delicious. Had the onion and crostini appetizer, ribeye with mashed potatoes and brussel sprouts were all cooked to perfection. The fish is chips always excellent, served with their sweet apple sauce for dipping fries. You won't find ketchup here.We did not have dessert this time but the apple cobbler is excellent.“
“This was awesome! The food was GREAT! The waitress let us get EXACTLY what we wanted. The only reason it's not all 5 stars is because it was loud during March Madness. So if you're not up for that, fo elsewhere. But for us, it was fine. Make sure to ask for Ashley! She's the best!“
“Yummy diner. Their specialty is potatoes and I understand why! We got a scrumptious vegetana. Reasonable prices. Ok service. Not a huge fan of the massive TV in the place but that's a personal preference. They had cute decor and lots of plants made it warm and inviting.“
“I took my teenagers here on a Friday night and it was great! The service provided by Linda was fast (but not rushed), friendly, and made us feel very welcome. The restaurant was clean and had an older American diner feel.I was in the mood for breakfast (served all day). I had the chicken, fried steak and eggs, and the gravy on the chicken was wonderful! All of our portions were good sized, and the food was really good! I’m sad it took me so long to find The Great American Diner in Issaquah.Parking: This is on busy front street in Issaquah, so there is limited parking on the street and some parking behind the business but many of the spots are reserved.“
“HUGE PORTIONS at the family owned sports bar in Issaquah service was fast and attentive. The place was not crowded at 1PM on a Tuesday. I had a flat iron steak sandwich. It was served on their signature sourdough roll. It contained cheese, sautéed onions and a signature sauce. The steak itself was THE WHOLE STEAK. Not sliced and was a half inch thick. They cooked it to order, I asked for medium rare and it was close but a little over. It was obviously not. Prime cut. But it was still good. The friend I was with goes there all the time and said everything on the menu is good. There is a bar you can sit at and several TV screens to watch sports on. I feel like this is a good place to hang out and enjoy a game. So four stars. Cheers.“
“Go to spot. We come here at least a couple of times a year. We also don't stray very far from our usual order. Appetizer tower, Cajun fettuccine, shrimp and grits and the creamy kids Alfredo. The only thing that changes is the cocktails. The shrimp toast on the appetizer tower can be iffy with the guac but when the salmon is on the tower, definitely get it. Kids love the calamari. If we don't have the kids with us, we also try to make it for their happy hour.Last time we were there, our server Jenna was great. she kept clearing out any used dishes which helped since the table was not too big. The tables by the windows and the booths are spacious. All the free standing tables are ok for 2 but too tight for any more.We had a reservation and there were larger 4 seaters when we arrived. I specifically requested a booth if possible but definitely not a center table. The first table the hostess took us to was a center table. We've not had luck with good tables the last couple of times but I guess the food makes up ??♂️“
“Perfect for the sports bar hangout with pull tabs. Patio along the parking lot Daily specials, good beer selection! Better food than many bars in the area. I recommend the Philly cheese steak sandwich. Straight forward service, busy place for the size.“
“Over all it was a good place with a good selection to choose from.but wished that they had bread at the table and offered a salad or something.to keep you engaged while waiting for your meal.note that it is a little pricey.but that seams to be the trend .over all now knowing what to expect id definitely go back.“
“Brunch at Jak's is so incredibly delicious. I usually get the jak's Benedict, which has steak and potato cakes topped with the eggs and hollandaise sauce. The servers are very nice as well. I can't wait to go back!Kid-friendliness: It is pretty pricey, but kids are welcome“
“I love diners like this and prefer them over chain restaurants. My buddy and I were in town for an event and stopped here for breakfast. At first we were sat at a tiny table which we were ok with. Two 6ft+ 300lb guys at a tiny table was almost comical. Not 5 minutes later, they moved us to a booth. The service was top notch and the food was delicious! There was a little wait to be seated, but it wasn't long by any means.“
