When this restaurant first opened up, it really was the best pho around. I hadn't been here in over a year since I've moved out of the area, and decided to place an order. To my dismay, the pho broth does NOT have the same flavor/taste as before. I'm not sure if the cook or recipe has changed, but it was not good. I took 4 bites and that was it for me. I love Thai food and have been meaning to try Boonmar for a long time now. I finally went there today and ordered Pad See Ew for takeout. I walked in a few minutes before noon and the place was empty (Covid-related, I would bet), so I placed my order and it was brought out about 5 minutes later. I got it home and dug in. This spot has Perfect portion sizes. The food is very tasty as well. Staff was very friendly and checked in on us multiple times throughout our time there. There were also lots of vegetarian options which is always nice.
