“Take away food that is wholesome, flavorful, and filling. Don't waste your money on corporate junk fast food. The Saucy Sailor is a restorative that will return you to health and vigor.”
“Low-key environment with stellar food and service. Everything made with fresh ingredients, well prepared. It's busy when people are getting their to-go orders, but there's plenty of room inside for anyone wanting to sit for a bit. No table service, but the staff here helped us with a few things and the service was excellent. Be sure to let them know if you want to "eat here" as they seem to get a lot of to-go orders. This is a great find, we'll be back!Parking: Big shared lot (for the strip mall) with many spaces available.Kid-friendliness: Families come here often. You order, then eat at your table, so that's easier with kids. Not seeing any high chairs though.Wheelchair accessibility: Wide door and easy-to-traverse floor space. Tables are spread out, giving everyone lots of room to move around.”
“I haven't been here in years and I am glad I came back. The food is crazy good, the staff are friendly and professional, and the prices are great too. I am glad when I go on break, I can come just 2 minutes down the road and relax here and eat good food.”
“Got the roasted red pepper and hummus on foccacia asked instead of cheese to add sauerkraut they said sure!!!!! Best sandwich ? ? ? ? Ive had in a really long time. Thank you gals your the best and so nice ? Love this spot. little pond is the best with running water sound so peaceful!!!”
“Great staff & great beers. Consistent & you always know what you're going to get. It can be a bit cold inside during the the fall/winter months but otherwise an excellent place for a beer. Light snacks are available and you're able to bring in your own food. Good place to unwind.”
“So...where shall I start...especially when I'm 4 Guinness nitro and 1 house ale in. Had their salmon chowder and their special of grilled swordfish...AMAZING...and that's not the beers talking. Food and atmosphere is PERFECT! if you're ever in the Kingston area and you just get off the ferry...YOU MUST STOP HERE. Besides...you just got here and it's close by. The people here are top notch nice beyond words and the food quality, taste, presentation (if that's a thing at an alehouse) is astounding! DON'T FORGET ABOUT THE DESSERT!!!”
“Went there on my son's recommendation to celebrate my wife's birthday. It was a perfect day for weather, pizza, and party. Extremely busy, but service was friendly and as quick as could be. Staff was first class, and food was exceptional. Not your average pizzeria. Pizza creations were made with sourdough from starter that was over a hundred years old, and the toppings were fresh, flavorful, and creative. All that and a front seat views of the ferries and passengers coming and going into the picturesque town of Kingston made it a day, not soon forgotten. We will be back soon to spend more time in town and return to Sourdough Willy's to enjoy another fantastic meal!”
“Met a friend coming off the ferry, first time here, the staff was friendly and attentive, the bacon wrapped shrimp appetizer was awesome, we liked then so much, we ordered another. We also ordered two entrees, fish 'n chips, and shrimp basket. Was a quiet place until Monday trivia night started about 6pm.”
“It is always good, that is why we keep going back!Vegetarian options: They have a beyond beef burger and fries that are veganKid-friendliness: It's not too crowded so we can always find a seat that is private or outside.”
“I do fish and chips everywhere. This was 3pc w extra tarter. Mm-mm good smell, excellent tarter and the shoestring fries were perfect. The panco Batter was crispy and the fish was thin cut yet firm enough to dip, in a word: EXCELLENT. The Cole slaw or cold slaw was spectacularly delicious with an unusual hint of sesame, a real treat. Prices were commensurate with the high quality.”
“Must have their Salmon chowder!!! It's delicious, fish and chips are also good! Keep it in mind that there are 3 other restaurants in the Casino for other sorts of food. Consistently good food and friendly service always! Keep up the amazing work ?”
“This place has not disappointed us once. Yet again a delightful meal in a nice romantic quiet atmosphere. Don't let the outside deceive you. We had the tomahawk for two with mushroom risotto, Dungeness crab from the seafood bar and cream brulee for dessert. My husband is extremely picky about steak, as I am about seafood and we were both happy. Thank you for a wonderful 9th anniversary celebration bistro.”
“A bit of a 'hole in the wall' place. Typical Chinese fare. Lunch specials are a good deal. Definitely worth going back to. We had the Mongolian beef, General chicken, and sweet and sour chicken.”
“The fajitas were good and the food amount generous, but the tortillas seemed dried out and hard like they'd been microwaved. Overall, the experience was good though.Parking: Several spaces near the entry door.”
“Got here 20 minutes b4 close this time so they were out of poke ?. But been here 6 times b4 and it’s always been fresh and decent size portions. Highly recommend!”
