I used to visit the Azteca in Bellevue for every birthday growing up, and it shut down a few years ago. However this location isn’t much farther away, and is worth going to. I adore Azteca, it’s my comfort and celebration food. Today, all grown up, my sisters and I all stop by and split a fajitas for 2 lunch and it’s more than enough food for 4 20-something ladies like us. We love all the servers and they are always so friendly and ask how we’re doing. Highly recommend
Went to Azteca Friday with a small family group. I’ll be honest, this is a large chain so the standard an expectation would likely never reach 5 stars. The food was bland and generic and high was disappointing considering I order taco al pastor. Not one hint of Pineapple which is really the twist in this dish that I love and experience everywhere else. Wonderful food and super nice staff. There were several regulars there and staff treated them like family. Somewhat dark on parts so would ask to sit in a brighter section next time. Easy on and off of 405.
