“I got the chicken katsu. It was crispy and the oil was really clean! They also gave me a ton of rice and salad. if you’re wondering from the picture, I got no dressing and turned the chicken over a little bit but otherwise that’s what you’ll get if you order here. I brought my own garlic sauce from teriyaki bistro in issaquah which may be tacky but it took the meal from a 10/10 to a 13/10 ?“
“Honestly the most amazing ramen I’ve ever had. I will never go to another ramen place as long as Mom’s kitchen is open. This is delicious comfort food at its best. It makes any bad day a little brighter. They are so friendly and the quality is always consistently top tier. The kimchi slaps too.“
“Let me give y'all the latest update on I Love Teriyaki. I had the pork teriyaki, plain and simple and they executed, delivered, and served beyond my expectations. I literally stopped by here while getting my car serviced and now I will be bringing my partner, family and friends back here in the future. I Love Teriyaki made me realize how much I love teriyaki. The decor is OG and the service was quick and very polite. Much respect and much love for I Love Teriyaki <3(only 4 stars for atmosphere bc this place should have more people inside eating their delicious food fr)“
“My wife and I are big fans of I love bentos, a teriyaki restaurant in Kirkland. We go there at least twice a month, and we are always satisfied with the food and the service. The food is fresh, tasty, and generous. We usually order to go, and the food is always enough for two meals. My go to plate is the spicy chicken and spicy beef teriyaki plate, which comes with rice and a salad. The meat is tender and flavorful, and the sauce is just the right amount of spicy. The salad is my favorite part, because of the dressing they use. It is creamy and tangy, and goes well with the greens. When we eat in, I like to get the bento boxes, because they have sushi as well. The sushi is made with quality ingredients, and the fish is fresh and delicious. The bento boxes also come with tempura, gyoza, and miso soup. They are a great deal for the price and the variety. The owners of I love bentos are really nice and friendly, and they always greet us with a smile. They make us feel welcome and appreciated. They also run the restaurant efficiently and cleanly. We never have to wait long for our food, and the place is always spotless.Pro tip: take in your own bag to save some money when ordering take out. They charge a small fee for their paper bags, but they are happy to pack your food in your own bag if you bring one.I love bentos is one of our favorite places to eat in Kirkland. We highly recommend it to anyone who loves teriyaki or Japanese food. It is a hidden gem that you will not regret trying.“
“This is a much better Toshi's than the one in Kenmore near my home (which I am by all the time but won't eat at )!Their posted hours open at 11 but I was looking for a late breakfast to eat at my work down the street and called him at 10:30 from the from across the street where the Met market wanted $10 for a cold premade sandwich. I thought that a hot meal for a couple dollars more made more sense.I was right! He said sure he can help me early and had the order bagging up when I walked in. He was very kind and told me he starts cooking at 10. I've been trying to get some time to try the lunch at the Chinese place next door but glad I went to Toshis.I don't get too excited over teriyaki but anything Asian with rice is worthwhile to me. Their lunch special chicken is their cheapest meal I think but came with a good portion, not dried out, and a little slaw and sauce. He had hot sauce! Yea Not much of a dine in space but was clean. I'll be back occasionally I'm sure.“
“We’ve coming here since Big fish open. It is a hidden gem. Very fresh sushi & reasonable price! I love some of the unique creative rolls like White tower, Lolipop. They also have kid friendly chopsticks, and my kid love the hand rolls.“
“This has been my go to sushi place for years. Service is great and the sushi is fresh. It's a pretty laid back and relaxed atmosphere. I recently started branching out to try other foods here (usually get the sushi combo platter) Latest I tried were these cold udon noodles you dip in sauce. Probably the bounciest noodles I've ever eaten. 10/10“
“Nasai Teriyaki is a tiny hole-in-the-wall spot in the Kirkland area on NE 85th Ave. It's conveniently located near Costco and the 405 freeway. There is parking in the front and there is indoor seating.I ordered the chicken teriyaki ($12.70) which came with a salad on the side. The chicken was tender although I could've used more sauce with the chicken. The portion size was pretty good and it was filling. The salad was standard and nothing special. This is a no-frills spot that has quick service and is an inexpensive meal.“
“Very nice and cozy dinning room with a sushi bar. Service was flawless.Menu was nice and all the rolls we ordered came out quick and looked BEAUTIFUL. My only complaint is the dishes lacked that umami flavor I really enjoy with Sushi and other Japanese dishes.Maybe I'm being picky, but there was a brown sauce that was poured on 4 of the 5 rolls we ordered that was extremely sweet. (I want to say it was Unagi but it was so sweet I wasn't sure)My favorite roll is typically "the Dragon roll" or Eel with Unagi and fish, I typically get one almost every time I go for sushi.I was shocked at how sweet it was, almost like they had used Oysters sauce in place of the Unagi. The first few bites were delicious but the sweetness kept building and eventually made the rolls sort of a chore to finish.I typically like more Salty, bold, Umami "yummy" flavored rolls so I was disappointed with these as I had to supplement every bite with left over gyoza sauce and the table soy sauce. My pallet is obviously not the final say in flavor but I would only recommend the Sushi Rolls if you like them in the sweeter side.We orderedGyoza (phenomenal filling and the sauce was perfect)Fire starter roll (the best one that tastes the most like clean fish sushi)Dragon roll (way to sweet)Crunchy roll (way to sweet)Salmon king roll (2nd best of the list)Spider roll (extremely bland unfortunately)Mizo soup was also very tasty.Over all it was still a delicious lunch, just a little to sweet for my preference.“
“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️-The Blaze RamenSpicy creamy pork broth, bean sprouts, spinach, green onion, seaweed, and seasoned egg. Choice of Pork, Chicken, or Tofu. (Contains Dairy)-Crispy Chicken KaraageJapanese style fried chicken and spicy aioli sauce.“
“The food was great. Quality and selection of sushi was great. Drink selection was also nice. Wish the server would have come back more often so we didn’t have to wave her down for more beer and wine refills and also the bill (it was not a busy Sunday evening,) she was often chatting with other staff members.“
“We had decent sashimi and pretty good seared cod, but nothing phenomenal, especially for the price and location. The super heavy and tall front door is something of a deterrent. The service was okay, but the prices are high for what they seem to be aiming for here. We walked in on a Thursday evening and it was super quiet even though they asked if we had a reservation. For a more enjoyable authentic dining experience, Izumi, across the highway is still our mainstay for special meals.Kid-friendliness: There are no high chairs here.“
“As always consistent high quality meat, clean, large portions, and EXCELLENT rating w/ Health Dept, friendly owner/family. I like this teriyaki place better than teriyaki place in Eastgate which is closer to me. Whenever I’m near by the area, I always stop by… ?“
