Where to start?I have systematically tried everything on the menu over time and nothing disappoints. Just great food. But wait. There's more. The staff there are friendly and welcoming.I stop in sometimes to make a to-go order and they treat me as if I were a sit-down guest. Just first class service.

Food was excellent! Anything with the black fungus is a must, so unique. Lots of options, lots of choices with szechuan peppers, not for the faint of heart. Order plenty and have them family style so you can try it all! Will be back for sure! Szechuan dumplings are a great start!!!

My 1st visit the food was exceptional. Fresh, great and fulfilling. Although, each 18$ food choice does not come with rice. The hot & sour soup had much mushrooms tofu etc. Egg fu young delicious ?. Second time was horrible. Soup was mainly the broth like it was the bottom of the pot. End of the day SMH!And the serving size is a rip off. They didn't update their business platform to inform customers of their dishes not including rice!

One of my favorite places to eat in general, they have the best sweet and sour pork that I have had and I have always enjoyed everything else a great deal.

Came in during lunch special hours. I got the sesame chicken, fried rice & soup. The service was super fast & extremely friendly. The soup came to me at the perfect temperature, not too hot or cold, just right. The fried rice was great, I dug into it before being able to get a picture & the sesame chicken came with a lot of sauce & wasn’t dry like some other places. I loved all of the hanging decorations for the atmosphere too!

I love it here. Very authentic Szechuan cuisine. The hand shaven noodles are worth it as is most everything on the menu.

Ordered broccoli, beef, ordered, egg, foo, young, and fried rice. The broccoli beef was undercooked. The egg Young was burnt with egg shells and the rice was old and hard.

Very friendly service! The food was tasty but only lukewarm. It was not a busy day and there appeared to be adequate staff. All three of our meals were not warm enough for the gravy's and sauces to stay liquid. They actually congealed. Tucker's home and reheated and they were pretty good.

Went to Tacoma Szechuan for Sunday Lunch because was starting to feel sniffles, scratchy throat, and wanted Hot & Sour Soup (my 'go to' instead of Chicken Soup; didn't feel like cooking). Soups were so good, we ordered Extra Bowls of both Hot & Sour Soup, AND Egg Flower Soup To Go! Also tried their Black Mushroom Baby Bok Choy, and Deep Fried Fish Szechuan Style (Spicy Level 2 since I'm a lightweight; they go up to Spicy Level 10). Both dishes paired well together as the Mushroom dish had a slightly sweet sauce that tamed the spiceyness of the Szechuan Fish. We'll definitely be returning as there were many dishes I'd like to try on their menu. Prices are reasonable, they are super friendly, and food is DELICIOUS!Vegetarian options: Pescatarian and Vegetarian Options.

Oh my gosshhh the spicy beef noodle soup was sooo delicious!! The beef was incredibly tender and the broth was tasty, definitely a must try. We also ordered the deep fried fish Szechuan style, very crispy and yummy. Atmosphere and service is great. Would certainly come back soon.

Docked a couple of stars for:1. Service- I ordered takeout but the order took a little longer to prepare than estimated. Staff behind the counter argued frequently about which orders went out and it gave me the impression that operations were disorganized, and there were communication issues.2. Atmosphere- The longer I waited for my to go order, the more I was able to look at the fine details around me. I stared at the depressed turtles near the front door. I’m hoping that the tank they were in was just temporary, and that they are preparing a larger and much more fulfilling terrarium for them. I also noticed that the health inspection rating was the lowest, which made me question why I decided to go here.3. Food quality- I eventually got my order: sweet-and-sour chicken, combo, fried rice, and the garlic bok choy. I was disappointed in the portion sizes for the chicken and the bok choy dishes but felt the serving of fried rice was standard. I wish the bok choy was a little bit more crisp and less wilted.Overall, I think there is a lot to be improved. This was my first visit. I’m not sure if I will go back, but I am still hoping to find my go to place in Tacoma for Chinese food.
