Great menu items and nice cozy ambiance. I ordered chicken wings, Mongolian beef, and one of their soups. Rice was a bit overcooked. Did not offer proper utensils or napkins. I'll come back and review other items. Overall good place to eat.
Anise Thai Cuisine is a great gem find on Mercer Island. My friends and I came here last week for dinner on a weeknight and were glad we did. The only downside about Anise is that the parking lot is VERY tight, especially during peak hours. You may be waiting a while for a spot as Anise shares parking with the rest of the strip mall tenants. Note that the entrance to the lot is off of 77th. I ordered the PAD KHEE MAO with chicken ($16). I've only ordered from here a couple of times, but so far the experience has been pretty good. The chicken fried rice I had was one of the better ones I've had in a long time (for the price point). The chicken was the most tender I've ever had in a fried rice. Will definitely be ordering it again soon.
