“Food ***** Service ***** Ambiance **** While we enjoy Indigo and have never had anything that wasn't top quality, we gave Azul a try. Since they offer Carnitas, we decided to both order Carnitas. We were a little disappointed when the Carnitas turned out to be a bit on the bland side spice wise and had not been cooked again on the grill just before serving. We have found the best Carnitas at Julio's in Bothel.”
“My friend and went here for a business meeting, wanting to try something new having already been to most other breakfast places in Millcreek. I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in. Rusty Pelican is certainly a few steps above the rest! I was greeted warmly and escorted to my seat. My server came by with a lovely tray of breakfast sweets to start, and was very attentive the rest of our meal. The food got to us quickly and deliciously. The atmosphere was so cozy we lost track of time chatting and enjoying the setting. I believe this has become our new meeting place.”
“"Indulge in the essence of authentic teriyaki at its finest in the heart of the PNW, crafted by the legendary Chef Toshi since 1976."Each bite of the chicken katsu, grilled chicken, or beef unveils tender perfection, perfectly complemented by the precisely balanced sweetness of the teriyaki sauce. Accompanied by a delightful coleslaw, every dish is a symphony of flavors. With less than 13 dollars included tax (can you imagine it in 2024?), you're treated to the quintessence of Seattle's most beloved cuisine. Definitely worth driving an hour just to savor a chicken teriyaki that captures the essence and history of our city.”
“This place is great!! I didn't even know it was here. It's tucked behind Qfc/Elliott Bay Pizza. They have a great variety of beers. Light to dark. Definitely come in and get a flight to try them. Very clean place, and the owner (Matt) is super friendly. This is a place to come with kids! We parked at North Creek Park and ventured through the boardwalk and into 4 Stitch. Very cool way to do it. Bring your friends!! It's a good hang with friends. Can't wait to come during the summer months. I'll definitely be back!!!! ? Prost!”
“Amazing service, Lily our server did an outstanding job!! Food was great! Had a couple of drinks and definitely enjoyed them. Everyone should truly check it out!”
“The workers greeted us very warmly & they were all working hard & skillfully like a well oiled machine...you could tell the servers & sushi chefs were well seasoned. It was a very warm day and we were seated by the front windows, which even with the thick curtains, was still acting like a radiant heated wall! Not a big deal for me as I run cold, but if you are a hot person...this might have bothered you. I was actually wearing a tank top so I was perfect...it was double date night. The fish on sushi & sashimi platters was buttery & fresh. Lots of roll varieties too just how I like it. We started with some appetizers, nice sized shareable portions of tempura calamari & chicken karage. We also ordered agedashi tofu & veggie & shrimp temp, perfect portion sizes for a party of 4 for appetizers. No one ordered any entrees or bentos...although they look really good, we stuck to sushi. They give you a sushi list and a pen and you mark down what you want yourself...I like that too, more control on server making mistakes! I love trying ikura(salmon roe) at different restaurants to see if the chefs marinate the delicate eggs or not. I was pleasantly surprised to find this order of ikura marinated. It was slightly sweet with a hint of sake and not too salty as some restaurants will make it. This order was rich & creamy with the addition of quail egg. We ordered a small sashimi combo with salmon, yellowtail, toro & another white fish...I don't know if it was bonito or what, they didn't go over the items when they dropped the dish...but it was the one in the front on the left. They have an extensive roll list which has a ton of California based rolls topped with numerous options. All really good, but California roll base is kind of boring...maybe they could switch up the centers a little. We got Las Vegas roll...completely deep fried, yummy if you like that type of roll, Polar Bear roll, Cali roll topped with white tuna & seared salmon...YUM, a lemon salmon roll, Cali roll topped with salmon & lemon segments...they go so well together!!!! We also had a Firecracker roll which is a spicy tuna roll topped with more spicy tuna & fried minced garlic...really good with a little extra heat, maybe some jalapeños minced up in there but so tasty. We also ordered a White Christmas roll which is a shrimp tempura roll topped with white tuna, Avacado & a wasabi cream sauce...super tasty. Can't have sushi without a Spider roll & I always have an ume shiso roll...this one had lots of julienned cucumbers in it & a negihama roll to appease my clean, raw fish craving. Excellent sushi & the wait for our food was good. We had reservations & I definitely recommend taking the time to make one if you want guaranteed seating, I saw a lot of walk ins turned away or told they'd have an ample wait. If you're up north, I'd highly recommend Sushi Zen.”
“Food is fresh, light, tasty, well seasoned and the staff is super friendly, one star down because they don't have separate cooking surfaces for allergy and non allergy foods, but overall yummy ”
“We really love the greek salad here but it is too expensive ($16!). Last time we had considerably less meat than usual also. We would visit more if the prices were more reasonable and if meat portions more generous. This is a take out place but it seems to have dine in prices.”
“The service was wonderful, and we enjoyed everything we had, especially the bruschetta and sparkling rosé. The decor and ambiance are really nice, and it's a great place to relax after a long day.”
“Loved how simple yet vibrant this restaurant was. Decent size restaurant, but service was great, and so was the atmosphere. Lots of good choice on the menu it was hard to pick.We ordered gyoza, takoyaki, and karaage to start. I ordered chicken shoyu ramen with extra egg and chicken. Wow, the food was amazing.Overall, next time we visit my girlfriend's best friend again, we wanna come back here :)”
“I have been a customer here for 2-3 years, and I can say their quality is consistent. Prices are much more affordable than other Thai places around here. I love the food so much. I always get either Tom kha, Phad Thai, phad see ew, and papaya salad. All very well seasoned. IM SERIOUS GUYS! THEY MAKE VERY VERY DELICIOUS FOOD! definitely come here and support their business bc the staff are so nice. It’s just a Thai couple running the restaurant but UGH THEIR SERVICE IS EXCEPTIONAL! It hurts to see such a good restaurant not get the love and hype they deserve unless some other expensive bland restaurants.”
“We decided to try this for takeout. They were fast making the food, and it was ready to be picked up on time. Everything we ordered was delicious. It's our new favorite asian food takeout. The orange chicken and tempura vegetables were a hit with the whole family.”
“The Mill Creek Spartas is fairly new, and we often enjoy the ones in Bothell and Lynnwood so we decided to drive up and try it. They have the same fantastic food, wonderful service, and same great menu. As usual we had salads and entrées but then took home a "half baked" pizza to have a day or two later. Being in a strip mall, there isn't the same decor as the other two, and less seating, but if you live nearby you are lucky to have the best Italian food and takeout pizza there.”
“We came in for my birthday dinner. This was a great experience, and everything tasted amazing. We had a great server named Lexi. She was absolutely amazing and she is so good at what she does. She was extremely knowledgeable about the menu (it was so impressive) and we just really enjoyed her as a server. The girl needs a raise!! ;)We had the steamed clams, broccolini, and mac & cheese. All recommend! They brought out a compliment dessert, we chose the butter cake. I will be back just for that!the Lady Luck cocktail, I need to learn how to make this drink for the summer time! It was so refreshing and had so much flavor. Thanks for a great experience and birthday dinner!”
“It's probably one of the best Thai restaurants near the Mill Creek and Bothell area. I have only tried three of their dishes, the Phad Thai, Drunken Noodles, and Pad See Ew. All three were amazing. Plenty of flavor and freshly prepared. There are plenty of portions in each order. The cost was fair. Nowadays, with everything costly, understand the higher than norm prices. The business owners are feeling the high costs. I don't feel like I overpaid with the food I got. There are several reasons, there is no way I could make this type of dish even if I could find a video on YouTube. Plus, it's better to just order authentic Thai from a real business. Also a pleasure to reward the taste buds from time to time and support our local businesses.”
