“Sushi chef made polite conversation and the servers checked in on me often in a friendly polite manner. At first I hesitated to get the rice with my chirashi bowl. But so glad I did, it was just as delicious as all of the raw plump fishes. Sooo yummy and delicious.”
“Amazing Carne Asada tacos. Authentic!!! My new favorite place! Muy rico!Photos of Carne and Elotes cremaKid-friendliness: Great atmosphereWheelchair accessibility: Easy access from street”
“Came in here a while back, greeted by Asian kid hansen fen or fane. Best customer service and love when kids also like to talk to customers. 10/10 boba joint if your in the area.”
“Great place to stop by before or after golf. Even though I order through my phone for takeout, they always make sure to say "have a good day" when I pick up my orders. Solid Jersey Mike's store.”
“The food is good but a bit expensive. They give good portions though. Today I ordered to go.. They misunderstood my order and I ordered only one quesadilla but they noted that at 2 and charged me for two instead of one even after the clarification.”
“Great staff and many fantastic dining options!;)Dietary restrictions: Dairy free ice creams and sorbets, gluten free cones and brownies, milk substitutes, accommodating staff.”
“Jody makes great coffee! I've been here a few times now this place has some of the best coffee in the area. And I would 100% recommend their coffee over Starbucks.”
“The food was delicious but the asian lady working at the front desk in the stripped shirt wasn’t very friendly. She needs to work on her customer service skills.”
“Awesome customer service orientated staff members, Speedy service, Baristas are trained well, drinks are always satisfactory and exactly as I order, never burnt and never rushed. The only downside to this franchised name is that it is located within a grocer with minimal seating areas for those who want to stop and smell the roses.. I mean arabica beans, before work and a long day ahead but I dare say if you are a young professional on the go then this is the place to be before your commute.Shoutout to Sundayja(Sp?) who has a great eye for merchandising and a great memory for customer orders and name recognition. She made me a Cinnamon Caramel Cream Cold Brew one day that was just the bees-knees dude. Not just a Barista but an artist with the way she painted that cinnamon on.”
“I love subway, they have a large variety of sandwich options, and you get to make your own combination of whatever you'd like on your sandwich! It's a very nice idea to whoever came up with it. And if you really can't decide what you love most on your sandwich, they have sandwiches that you can order that you know won't taste horrible. Not to mention the (calorie-packed) cookies which I am sure are quite delicious. They've also got a wide selection of chips, and soda. The lady there was very nice and kind, and I loved going to subway. I hope that her day was great, I saw that she had her two kids with her even though it's pretty late. I hope she gets a job that pays her well so she doesn't have to work so late. Let us pray for her. Amen.”
“This location is always buzzing. Literally and metaphorically. It has some very comfy leather chairs and lots of tables. The staff is always very sweet and friendly.”
“Delicious! This is a fine establishment located at an exquisite country club. The salmon hash was amazing...I'm craving it from Texas! As you can see...the views are incredible! Great service and clean establishment. I will be returning on every business trip that brings me to Seattle.”
“Delicious food. We had eggplant tofu with basil, combo fried rice and hot and sour soup. The Coca Cola was ice cold and refreshing. Everything was hot. Service was quick and very friendly. The food was definitely worth the money and the experience. Authentic. Fresh. Quiet and comfortable atmosphere. We will return soon!”
“Their meatball grinder sandwich was probably one of the best meatball sandwiches I’ve had. Tasty bread and toasted on the inside with perfect seasoning. My bf got the bbq chicken flatbread, he liked it a lot, but said the jalapeños could be spicier because he likes really spicy stuff. I don’t, and thought the jalapeños were the right amount of spicy. And he got the habanero wings that actually weren’t super spicy either, but really good flavor and are baked.”
“Great place to watch the game and for an entire family to have lunch out dinner. Fast service, yummy food and friendly staff. I had the southwest blackened chicken salad.”
“Pizza that you take home to cook, so its ok. The young people that work here always have orders ready early and are incredibly nice. Thats why they get extra points.”
“My wife & I love MOD pizza - we buy one every week at the Newcastle store, and we've been doing this for over a half dozen years. MOD has had some excellent team members at Newcastle over the years, and the VERY BEST are the team there right now - Jacob and Mark. Totally know what they're doing, and they are so friendly besides!”
“I wish I could give them 10 stars. A construction crew working by our house had an emergency and had to work through the night, Matilda the manager, donated 2 boxes of coffee with all the fixings. It was a really nice thing to do.”
“Came here during seattle restaurant week and took advantage of the great deal! I got the curry vermicelli bowl with tofu and it was very spicy but the kitchen was nice enough to add a bit more coconut milk to make it more mild. The hokkien wok noodles were also spicy but a lot more tolerable for me (I typically can't handle spice very well). The vietnamese coffee creme brulee was yummy and I would love to get it again! Super cute interior with snowboards and nice dim lighting. Great spot for a date night and I like the unique fusion menu”
“Everything about this restaurant is fantastic! The owners are hospitable, the service is prompt, the food is delicious, and the atmosphere is welcoming and beautiful! We came in on a Friday night with our three month old and the owners made us feel like we were in our own home. They are passionate about food and people, and it shows in every interaction with their guests. Thank you, Delish! ❤️”
“Great place to hang out with friends and grab a delicious craft cocktail while snacking on some awesome appetizers. Atmosphere is cozy and the bartenders and servers are super kind and friendly.”
“Nothing but love for a local chicken joint with nothing but love for me and mine. ❤️ fantastic atmosphere, good music, good food! Try the honey butter biscuit fried chicken sandwich, with some hot sauce, your soul will thank you. Much love to all of the staff there, y'all have saved my behind and fed my soul, more than I care to admit.”
“Good pizza for the area, but doesn’t hold up compared to Italian or spots in the north east unfortunately. It’s a solid choice if you need the itch scratched for sure. Wouldn’t recommend the cannolis though. They were pretty stale.”
“I ordered half a pound of brisket, half a pound of spare ribs, hot and spicy sausages, and Mac & cheese to die for.? I’m all in!!Smoky brisket and ribs melt in your mouth. Everything is perfect and the Spicy BBQ sauce was Amazing!?There is a patio in the back, felt like we were in the countryside, looking at huge smoker grills.Highly Recommended!!”
“Came here with friends for a nice steak dinner and was blown away. May was an awesome server and very attentive even with a crowded restaurant. Definitely coming back.”
“This is one of my favorite coffee shops in Seattle! The pastries are delicious and the staff is very friendly. There is usually a free seat upstairs where everyone is working on their laptops (so I am assuming they have good wi-fi). The coffee is wonderful! I had a blood orange donut per the recommendation of one of the staff members and it was delicious!”
“I am often n this neighborhood..needed a lift one day so I went in there. Had no idea what to order because it's a whole new world of coffee drinks. I was a barista for 20 some yrs and I feel like I've seen it all. I stand corrected! *Let me first say this; I in no way intend on steering anyone away from trying this place based on my future statement If a small business, an original of it's kind, one that is not majorly marketed/advertised wants to actually "make it" and stand the test of time; not just do ok and finance some short term goals for the owners. They must think out entirely what it is that generates sustainable customer base. What inspires customers to extend themselves and share w others again and again both positive and negative, within food type experiences? As a naturally curious person, this concept has always been a fascinating one for me. How can businesses get it so wrong/right!? * That being said..It was a fluke the day I entered this place for the first time that a fellow customer walk in and feel like sharing w me the best drink ever for them, one they get repeatedly, and should just take their advice and try it. So, I did. Yep, I'm hooked! It's the only drink I get there and how I look forward to it in between splurges! Let it be noted that if it was not for the other customer, I'd still likely not know what to order or even be writing this book right now. You see, the employees of this great coffee shop are so so untrained/familiar w the concept of, just because you know something doesn't mean anyone else does..and if you are in the business of appeal and temptation/weakness intrigue and indulgence instigating, well you should know everything there is to know about the product and be fluent in it's language. Why am I spending my time sharing this w an unknown audience? It's just in my nature I guess. You see, I really like this place and I am fascinated by their product. I am however so perplexed by their aloofness and lack of connection w the exact people they are there to attract. How do we know what to order, and why should we..how can I not live without including their product in my life on a regular basis?! Because this concept has seemingly missed them completely (the owners) it totally takes a huge part of the impact of how great their product is; away! I mean like literally. After I ordered my same drink around 7-8 times, I was ready to branch out. I've attempted to receive intrigue from the workers w such a failure rate it's a shame. So, I have remained ordering the same ol same ol and it's become redundant and irrelevant. I am slipping away new favorite coffee shop, can't you tell? I now have negative feelings towards you along w the excitement of the new to share w people. Does it take a genius to realize this is no good? Do I want to continue dumping $12-15 each visit (just on my drink and tip) when there is no connection, no interest in what it is they can do to keep me interested? The answer is no probably not. I'll give them a few more chances maybe, then I'll drift away w the open mind of discovering a new favorite coffee shop. Maybe this is why some giants in the same category, irregardless of how actually delicious their product is but more that every single thing they create they r experts in convincing us we must try and love and continue to consume and love and try again , repeat, repeat, repeat, they have stood the test of time? They figured this magic out first, then opened their doors!(PurpleHaze- iced!!!!!)”
“As this was my first time visiting. I can say I will definitely go back again and again. The very delicious donuts. Thank you for all your hard work in creating this staple in the city.”
“Super good, Coming from an Italian Family this is pretty close to what I had growing up and the best Lamb I've had in a restaurant (Nothing compares to mama's cooking) and over all good. Expect to spend here.”
“I have been at this place several times and every time my expense has been excellent. The atmosphere is lovely and calm; the staff is friendly; food is excellent every time. Love the neighborhood vibe.”
