Discovered this place a bit late, grateful they relocated to Pacific Ave. We’ve been more than a few times since. Food and atmosphere are both awesome. Service is hit and miss but lots of points to a wonderful owner that seems to always be present and to our server tonight, Miriam, who is by far the best we have seen at Equal Latin or for that matter, anywhere else in a long time. Food is very good. Service is fantastic. This is a great local business where you'll always get a smile and a pleasant interaction, see someone you know, and again, the food cannot be beat around here.

Incredible service, food, and atmosphere. We didn't know initially that the chips and dip are buffet style and free near the entrance, which is so nice! Highly recommend the chicken mole and the fish tacos ?
