“I recently ordered a chocolate peanut butter cake for my husband’s birthday and OH MY, it was DELICIOUS! The chocolate cake was moist and rich and the whipped chocolate buttercream icing was absolutely dreamy! The whole thing was topped with a generous mound of peanut butter cups. We all REALLY enjoyed this cake! Thank you, Kathleen!”

“Good sizes slices of pizza, served fresh at a great price. Stopped in here for a quick lunch after getting off the ferry. Approximately $8 for two slices and a can of drink. One of the pizzas I wanted was about to go in the oven. This meant I had to wait a few minutes but it was really fresh. Staff were helpful and the restaurant was clean. Would recommend.”

With the size of the space, and the quality of the food, I feel like we won the lottery by getting a table. The food, let’s talk about the food. I had the Chicken and Waffles Benedict, the flavors, the presentation, everything was spot on! My son had the Brisket Bennie, it’s now one of his favorite dishes ever. My wife had the mushroom avocado Bennie. We’ve been to many restaurants, some that are much more upscale, but there aren’t many that can match the quality of food and service of The Chef’s Playground. If you’re in the area, do yourself a favor and give it a try!”

“Pho Haven is a hidden gem nestled in the heart of Ladner. The resturant is well kept, owners always welcome you in. Whenever we dine in our food arrives quick, hot and fresh. It is family owned and you can quickly begin to see the pride they take in serving customers. Great place to stop by if looking for a quick bite to eat!”

“We love this Japanese restaurant for the high food quality, high staff quality, reasonable prices in today's market & location! Today, I tried the Nigiri Lunch and loved it! My husband had the double meat chicken teriyaki and some of mine cause it looked so tasty, and it truly was scrumptious ! We started with the Crae crae roll (shared). In my Nigiri lunch, I upgraded the salmon to sockeye, one dollar more, but worth it! The miso soup was perfect for us as we watch our sodium and they only use low sodium soya sauce! The combination of food, service & cost is why they get 5 stars! Any staff we saw were very friendly & said hello & goodbye. Customer service is top notch! Aside note, their green tea is one of the best we've enjoyed, too!”
