Great new spot we found during a late evening date night. 65 cafe is where we may be returning for all our Thai cravings in Redmond.Clean, very welcoming, great food, tastes and feels authentic!Generous portions, and great experience. Google hours say they close later than they actually do.Pro tip: call ahead.
Rating this 3 stars because our take out bill was over $40 for a Pad Thai and Pads See Ew. I've never had Thai so expensive before.My Pad Thai was tasty, pretty standard. Definitely spicy at 4*. My wife thought her Pad See Ew was bland.I think we'll find another Thai restaurant if the 20% service charge continues for takeout.
For some reason, this place had never registered with me, even though we've lived in Redmond for more than 20 years. But we saw a video highlighting some of the restaurants Chef John Howie likes to frequent on the Eastside, and this was one of them. I went with Howie's recommendation and had the papaya salad with grilled shrimp which was excellent!
