The line watched as they waited on the sole clerk at the front decided to keep sweeping. I'd have used a kiosk, but they hadn't been refilled with cups. And the chocolate croissant turned out to be stale. Every condiment drawer completely empty by the fountain. One must journey across the store for half-and-half. Other than that, everything was great.

This is not a good Panera bread. They mark your rapid order as ready and then they leave it sitting on the counter with no label so you can't get it. Then they don't acknowledge you or ask to get you your order until 10 minutes later when a different employee comes along and puts a sticker on it and puts it on a shelf. Meanwhile there are 3 people behind the counter

I'm sitting in Panera as I write. Even though I live nearby, for 3 years haven't come in. I didn't realize until today they have extensive seating. It's very pleasant, light filled with plenty of room. The coffee (brewed dark roast) was quite good. The great disappointment was in the pastry. They don't have a huge selection. I chose a chocolate croissant, a favorite (best I've had is at Columbia City bakery). I don't think it was fresh; it had the texture and feel of a refrigerated...read full review
