“Seafood here is better than anything you'll get on the piers, and at half the price. Service is good and fast, owner's a nice guy. My go-to lunch takeout ”
“I came to Seattle hoping to find myself some world class seafood. Everywhere I looked pointed me in the direction of Sushi Kashiba, and I was not mislead. Every bit of this experience oozed intention. Each plate of the omakase was a curated journey through flavors that could have only been designed and achieved by an expert of their craft. This is the real deal, and you'd be hard pressed to find a similar experience for this price. Sushi Kashiba is truly a wonderful experience.”
“It was nice when you used to be able to walk-in, but for good reason SKT has grown in popularity so I would recommend to always book a reservation or you may not get a table. It has a great mix of traditional sushi items, as well as unique offerings that we can't find elsewhere. We used to always order à la carte but recently tried the omakase and the slight variations are awesome.”

Spinasse
“My husband and I had a small local wedding, and chose to spend our wedding night dinner here at Spinasse and we couldn’t have been more pleased. We did the MenuDegustazione and were absolutely blown away at the amazing taste and presentation of every portion. In addition to the phenomenal food options, our waiter Aidan was an absolute pleasure and made our wedding night dinner absolute perfection. Another thanks to all the wonderful staff and executive chef that cooked each meal to perfection. We will definitely be returning.”
“Great gluten free food!!!! I'm not much of a beer drinker, but since it was gf I had to try them.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free kitchen and gluten free beer”

“Capital Grille was a wonderful treat. Our server Arne was fabulous and was very knowledgeable about the food and wine. We had a perfect meal before going to the 5th Ave theater. My filet was cooked perfectly as was my husband's New York steak with the cabernet wine reduction and gorgonzola sauce. All of the sides complemented the meal and were more than shareable. Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant and of course, we hope to be back again soon.”
“Great fresh food, tasted amazing. Provable 25& per person for full meal, small cozy space but bumping so waiting in line is likely. Good American Asian fusion breakfast.”
“Had the brown ale on tap and the ESB on cask (it's always a treat finding a place that serves cask ale). Both were excellent. I need to go back and try the Helles and the weekend donuts.”

“There is a reason it can be hard to get a reservation at this restaurant. This is a special place. Hands down the best meal I've had in Seattle and some of the best Italian food I've had in the States. The service is top notch, as they go above and beyond to make sure you're satisfied and cared for. Chef Katie really cares about the food that comes out of the kitchen and it shows. I highly recommend ordering a few dishes and sharing. Most dishes are perfect for two and you'll want to share in order to get a good sampling of the menu variety. You can tell a lot of heart goes into the food as it hits Italian comfort food spot on. Highly recommend the focaccia and you can't go wrong with any of the pastas, but I recommend the tagliatelle ragù if you're looking for something more traditional. The atmosphere is also a unique experience and makes you feel like you're coming home for family dinner. I highly recommend dining at Il Nido, you will not be disappointed.”
“Went here on a trip and ordered the beef cheek. For the first time getting Sichuan peppercorn anything, it was incredible. Not to hot, very numbing, and some really good noodles and beef. Definitely get the green beans for a side, they are incredible!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free, dairy free and vegetarian are all availableParking: Parking is street side onlyKid-friendliness: I would recommend children above the age of 12”

“I got a burrito to-go from rojo's at the arc'teryx event at VW and it was SO delicious and filling! I have been sorely missing good vegan Mexican food in Seattle, so it was such a joy to find Rojo's. But vegan or not, it's a must try - the plant-based meats are flavorful and hearty! I also got to chat with the owner who was so cool and down to earth. Looking forward to checking out the Pioneer Square restaurant soon!”

“Come for the coffee. Stay for the atmosphere.I was so happy to find this place! The cappuccino was expertly crafted, beautifully served in a real cup. The chocolate croissant was very good, too.But the best part was the atmosphere. Cool, chill, and cozy. Some beautiful relaxing music plays while a bunch of stylish, cosmopolitan people work on their computers and sip their beverages. The owners/baristas are so calm, respectful, and helpful. They clearly take pride in what they do.It almost feels like you are not in the United States, in a good way. This place feels more like a trendy but understated café in Tokyo. Hands down, my new favorite coffee bar in Seattle.”
“Tried the adobada, al pastor, and campechano tacos. I eat a lot of tacos, and will happily ride for hours to try a new place. These are really, really good tacos. Do yourself a favor, try some. Wish they had a larger space with seating.”

“Even though I have been blessed to have had numerous epic meals, the dining experience at LTD Edition Sushi is easily one of the five best dining experiences of my life and maybe even the absolute best ever. The food is both creative and exceptionally prepared with the highest quality ingredients, the service is seamless and as friendly or unobtrusive as you want it to be, and the ambience (sitting at the sushi bar) is jovial and more akin to eating and drinking in a dear friend's kitchen than at a fancy restaurant. While the price is high ($277, including the very generous sake pairing), it is not an expensive meal, as a night at LTD Edition Sushi is one of the best fine dining values that you can find anywhere.”
“Really great stylish ambiance, the food was delicious. We each got the special where we got to try several meats, everything was amazing and it was nice that we didn’t need to cook it ourselves. The customer service was lacking but we still had a nice time.”
“What an amazing little spot. Everything was incredible - the food, drinks, and service. Alex was our server and she was so kind and helpful, guiding us through the menu. We landed on coffee, a bloody Mary, heart of darkness cocktail (super tasty), fried chicken biscuit, and the monkey bread. I wish we lived closer, we would be their new regulars. We will absolutely make it back here at some point.”
“Lovely place! I would love to come back here in the evening to join in some of their weekly events. They have tons of games, puzzles, and a great area for kids to play while their parents relax and enjoy beer. Hill City is also dog friendly, both inside and on their covered seating area out front.”

“The high ratings don’t lie - Delish’s flavors and textures will satisfy every every craving you have! We got the meat combo plus one veggie side and that was more than enough for two people. Everything was seasoned and cooked perfectly. It’s easy to tell that this family-owned business puts a lot of love and pride into their food. Special thanks to our server for running out in the rain to bring me my wallet that I had almost left behind! That just shows how attentive and caring they are here. I’m very grateful for you and Delish for being an important part of Seattle’s food scene.”

“We’ve come here twice and it’s been amazing both times. The first time we were here, you could tell they were busy - the owner stepped in and helped wait tables. Friendly, cheerful service, delicious beers fall off the bone wings, and excellent food. Totally worth it!”

“First time here, and definitely more to come. Absolutely love the food and the service. We also enjoyed the conversations with chef Kurisu and chef Yuhei. They made the dining experience extremely pleasant.Highly recommend dining at the bar.”
“We loved this blacked owned restaurant. It’s a little hard to find because there is not a sign on the door but get reservations because it’s small. The food is good and vibe is great. We went on a Friday and the wings were great and the pork chop delightful. Go here and support black biz. You won’t go wrong.”
“Love me some speak-easy bars! What a lovely find! Despite being a Seattle native, I'm not familiar with what Seattle has to offer in terms of speak-easies. I have visited a number in Philadelphia as well as NY city. I suppose I simply doubted Seattle could live up to my east coast experiences. I'm happy to say Roquette proved me wrong! Firstly, true to the speak-easy persona, the entrance was questionable in identification. We couldn't tell if we were at the right place or if it was even open. When we recognized the entrance however, we easily entered and found ourselves in a very cool, throwback, swanky bar. It was relatively intimate and seating was readily available because we arrived around 5:30pm. Happy hour lasts until 7pm, which makes sense because that's prime dinner time rather than "drinking time." Unfortunately, our visit was a few weeks ago and I can't recall the exact drinks we ordered, but they were excellent cocktails that weren't OVERLY sweet like many bars do. There were generous pours of liquor, and fruit cocktails were made with fresh fruit. I only remembered to do this review because we are pending a second visit before the New Year and needed to send this place some love! Great find! Hopefully, it doesn't change with increasing popularity, as is often the case with some businesses.”
“Fantastic experience, wonderful service (love the water additions and peppermint tea afterward) and amazing food. Totally worth a night out. A bit loud, so hard to have conversations with table mates but otherwise perfect!”
“Hands down the best restaurant in Seattle!Make the trip to the Green Lake neighborhood. The food is so well thought out and hyper local. The entire service staff exudes Michelin star knowledge. The wine team has curated one of the best by the glass programs/ bottle list in Seattle. Their attention to detail and sustainable practices is the scale of Nomad.Hands down the best dining experience in Seattle!”

“Great place to hang out with friends and grab a delicious craft cocktail while snacking on some awesome appetizers. Atmosphere is cozy and the bartenders and servers are super kind and friendly.”
“D’ La Santa is a really nice Mexican restaurant with a cool vibe that was warm and inviting and they served good food. Oh and a great playlist on the day we went. The place is busy and we had to wait for our table. I would say it’s not a place for kids, but it’s great for adults in a group or on a date. The food is good and authentic and has some really tasty dishes, like the queso fundido and the tacos. I actually liked the food more than my wife did. We also ordered some quesadilla for the kids. The margaritas were pretty good too. The service was ok, but not great as the staff wasn’t too friendly. With a great customer experience we’d rate higher. Still a good place to eat, drink and hangout.”
“Unique restaurant with experimental menu. Had the mackarel as entree and bone marrow as appetizer. Both dishes were very different takes on those ingredients and were very tasty. The decor and ambienece was classy yet relaxing. And the staff were courteous and helpful. Overall, great find!”
“Ok so this place is a must go to! .. The food was outstanding the staff was more than friendly and it’s just one of those places you should be hanging out at !! Plus every Sunday they have a pop up pastry selection that’s phenomenal!! And you can also purchase some of there aged steaks to take home ? ?… next time I’m in west Seattle I’ll be stoping in for sure !”
“This is a very cozy soba restaurant that attempts the fine dining experience. It definitely stands out among the Seattle restaurants in terms of the food. The food is definitely very innovative and the staff provides really detailed explanations about the serving. My only reservation is that the food is not premium enough to be this expensive.”

“The food and setting are good, but not exceptional. I’m happy I tried Autumn, but there is a reason no one talks about it. For the price point, I would expect to be wowed a little more. Certainly nothing wrong with our dishes, but in a city with great food, there are other places that offer more nuance. Also, the open concept kitchen could do with some thoughtful design improvements, the bright lights, white wall and open door into the prep area are a bit jarring and take away from what could be a cozy space.”
“There were four of us, so we decided to order the entire menu! We were incredibly full toward the end, but there was nothing I would not order again. So many flavors, such good service! We really enjoyed our meal. Midway through, things started showing up a little too quickly, but when I asked, they were slowed back down again.”

“Darren was amazing! He was so friendly and energetic after a long day of sightseeing it was much appreciated. It felt like I was having drinks with a friend. He also made awesome recommendations on where to eat and some points of interest in the area. Thanks so much!”
“OVERVIEW: This is an ecclectic boutique hotel located in Seattle. Conveniently located within walking distance of Downtown, the Waterfront, Pikes Market & Belltown. While I had a rental car, I found myself walking most places. There's an advantage to this as it allows you to get the feel for the neighborhoods and experience more. I have been to Seattle numerous times, specifically this area as well. However there were glass blowing shops, retail stores, coffee shops and other single-owned businesses that I have otherwise missed when driving the area and due to having to pay closer attention to traffic and less of the scenery. LOCATION: The location is perfect. Located on the Metrolink, within walking distance of downtown, the pier, the waterfront, the space needle, and any coffee shop you coukd want to go to. A convenient location that is extremely walkable and safe during both the daytime and evening hours. INTERIOR: Tastefully brightly colored. Lobby with an easily accessible and friendly front desk. Elevators are adjacent to the lobby. They have a Fitness facility, a small kitchen area, a small bar area, and very comfortable seating in the lobby. I came during Christmas, and it was wonderfully decorated to include reindeer, a tree, and a surprise. Find the elf every night and win a complimentary gift. I won the last night I was here and was extremely thrilled with the cup, hot chocolate, cake pop, and complimentary beverage coupons. This is an encouraging environment in which to have fun with an air hockey table, multiple board games, puzzles, and a Pac-Man video game old school. And yes, I did observe several people over my 4-day stay that did partake in the fun and games. It was a very relaxed environment. PARKING: There are three options for parking. You can use the underground parking which is secure and very convenient. You can park on the outdoor top deck, which I did as well. Or you can choose street parking which I do not advise. Parking is at this time of the review $42 a night. It is well worth it. There is no valet option, but you really don't need it. There is a covered overhang that is more than adequate for four vehicles in case it should be inclement weather by your arrival or departure. When you depart, please keep in mind that it is a left turn only. You are pulling onto a one-way street. LODGING: Upon arrival you receive a spacious room with a queen size bed or two double beds and option of one bathtub or a shower and an air conditioning unit and usually a view of either the city or the monorail. I chose the city and was very pleasantly surprised the rooms were quiet. I did run the air conditioner fan just for white noise and slept like a baby. There is a small chair with an ottoman in the room as well as a very large screen TV and a huge desk. The room was extremely clean. I did not find the usual dust bunnies or hair anywhere within the room or bathroom. COMPLIMENTARY: You receive unlimited free bottled water & coffee. In addition, they have complimentary pineapple infused water, which was quite tasty. They do have additional beverages and snacks for purchase. They offer complimentary umbrellas for use on those inclement weather days. They are colorful and large, making it easier for your visibility. CUSTOMER SERVICE: Outstanding. I dont say that lightly, I measure this based upon my previous stays at The Peninsula Beverly Hills, Beverly Hills Hotel, Intercontinental, Four Seasons, and Fairmont Brands to mention a few. Service with the front desk was professional, personalized & knowledgeable about the area. While checking you in, they treat you as if they are a concierge. You don't feel rushed. They answer any and all questions you have and make you feel very welcome. They have an "Everything" button on your telephone that was answered by the third ring . . . Every time. CONCLUSION: Will I be back? The question is, WHEN will I be back.”
“This food blew me away! Every single thing I ordered absolutely delicious. I had the grilled lamb, BEST I EVER HAD. Please go here, you won’t be disappointed! Just don’t go late at night. Not the best area, but the person working told me he would bring it out to my car. The area isn’t the best, but I didn’t want to leave any less than a 5-star as their food deserves the best rating!”
“Cute bar in the hotel. I really enjoy the astronaut with the googly eyes at the entrance. That gave me a good laugh. It's a great place to hang out. The bartenders made the drinks super fast. Drinks are delicious.”
“Most everything I have tried Chicken Fried Steak, bacon, hash browns, eggs and veggie soup so far are my favorite, fresh salad and sandwiches are really good. Hamburgers and fries not really my style for my taste but good and fresh.”
“I had some Sunday ! Great ! Seasoned to the bone , not too much crunchy coating , but just perfect ! Spicy chicken but not too hot ! Will definitely be traveling to this spot !! ?”
“Carne asada fries are sooo good. Best midnight grub spot ever. Portions are huge (carne asada fries are plenty for 2 ppl) and super fast & friendly service. I’ve been like 10 times, no complaints. Not the best food ever, but still great being the only thing ”
“Best subway I have ever been to. The sandwich gave me an almost out of body experience, a mix between sexual and sensual. Without this subway I don’t think I could live my day to day life.”
“The gentleman working today 4/7 at 3:45 was so kind and made my sandwich perfectly. We had good conversation and he made me feel warm and welcome, too tier customer service for a subway! Give him a raise ❤️”
“I don't know if because we arrived at a time when the atmosphere was very low, but it seemed quite lonely to us. As for the food, we found it to be good and the cost is good, service versus price. We were pleased that there was at least one person who spoke Spanish and was able to assist us much better.”
“I have never had Indian food before and so one of the employees helped me choose a dish! I chose the mild spice, but it was still a bit too much for me. Otherwise, it was very good food.”
“Good burgers for the price. Comparing to the insane prices of burgers at the big chains it's nice to see a local burger restaurant keeping the quality of the food in line with the prices. The deep fried Oreos were worth a try, their fries were tasty and crunchy. The burgers were so tasty and I ate my burger so fast that it was gone before I realized it and it was gone without savoring it... I was kinda sad. Only cons we had was that service was kind of slow, probably because we had a rather large order so people who arrived after us got their food before us. The atmosphere is only lacking because of all the unsavory types wandering about.”
“Thought I’d drop a recent review. The store was fully staffed when I went here. The food was fresh and the portions were good. The most important thing is, the store IS clean. Despite the incoming traffic of both displaced folk and customers they keep the place very neat and it does not feel like a dump at all. Everyone was really kind and I can say that if there were any problems within the last 6 months they are seemingly resolved.”
“My daughter introduced me to this place. I fell in love with the food. I definitely know what I'm ordering next time.Parking: Park in their parking lot and enjoy your foodWheelchair accessibility: Drive up is available”
“More like not enough supply! Get here early if you want a chicken thigh. I was 1st in line and they ran out of thighs 10 minutes after they opened. I got the spicy thigh and a leg and it was the biggest chicken thigh I think I’ve ever eaten. Extremely crunchy chicken and great flavor. Monggo Beans and rice were awesome. The Sweet Onion Hot Sauce is a MUST TRY. Not hot really but an awesome flavor and sauce for the chicken. Total seen here with drink came out to about $29 I think, and definitely had leftovers.”
“Food was excellent and the service was prompt and attentive. I have troublesome food allergies, and our server was very knowledgeable of the menu and incredibly helpful. We went to celebrate a birthday, and they made it a great experience!”
“I came from San Jose CA. exclusively to eat tacos de barbacoa, excellent food, its owners as well as employees, give an excellent service. Thanks La Chingona Taqueria for your excelente service.”

“Fantastic food and lovely vibes! Probably the best deal you can get for breakfast food in Pike Place Market. I recommend the walrus crumpet for a sweet breakfast and the egg blend for a savory one!”
“Great pastry, great coffee, the staff is super nice. I stop by once or twice a week and am ALWAYS happy with it. Gets insanely busy mid morning on the weekends but isn't too bad when I pop in around 730”

“If you want an amazing Sandwich in Seattle, it's hard to beat Mean Sandwich. High quality ingredients, delicious and inventive flavors, and a focus on making the food damn good. The vibes are great and the staff are friendly, creating an incredible hole in the wall. It's one of my favorite places to grab a beer, hangout, and eat some delicious food. Can't recommend enough!”
“Went for a dinner on a weekend and was able to secure a table without wait although it was quite busy. We were welcomed with a big smile and with pleasant service. Tried qatena and loved it. Crispy like a paper dosa. Doro wot and veggie combo were fresh and delicious. I will rate this as our current favorite Ethiopian restaurant in seattle after Saba got closed. Will visit again!”
“We got takeout here and this place has great dumplings! We got the potato cheese. They come with hot sauce, vinegar, and sour cream. Definitely get the pickled veggies too. The service was good because the food was ready fast, and the ambiance looks cute, we plan to go for drinks soon.”
“I love the wings here, they are prepared perfectly and the sauces are all yummy. Don’t know why people complain about the size, they are your standard traditional size and pack a ton of flavor.”
“Great fresh food, tasted amazing. Provable 25& per person for full meal, small cozy space but bumping so waiting in line is likely. Good American Asian fusion breakfast.”
“Stopped by for an early dinner, plenty of street parking in the area.We ordered:Catfish Fillet Dinner with hush puppies & greensSide of Corn BreadPeach CobblerBoyyyyyyy oh boy, loved everything. I really enjoyed the catfish fillets. Perfectly seasoned, crispy and the sauce is basically drenchable. I added hot sauce because how do I even enjoy food without something spicy? The greens were spectacular, tender greens simmered with smoky based meat. I could eat this every day!Hush puppies, although in general I'm not a fan, these were really good. They have seasonings and onion inside. Nice and crispy, served piping hot!Corn bread was soft, moist and fluffy but still dense to call it Corn bread. Only thing I would say is I with the Corn bread was served warm with a side of butter.Peach Cobbler - FINALLY a place that toasts the top, I hate when I get a Cobbler and the crust isn't crispy. Here it was, it was served hot with a nice perfect layer of toasted crust! Finally someone doing it right!Everything was served piping hot, no complaint there. It was a meal me and my son enjoyed and we are definitely coming back! I want to try other items on the menu. I see that they get a little rush weekdays around 4pm, FYI.Service was excellent, friendly, informative and straight to the point. The cashier was fully aware of the customers and provided a friendly sense of urgency.Ambience bright and GREAT for photos. Warm inside on a cold seattle day! So Temperature is well controlled. It's clean open and bright. Great for enjoying with family/friends. Would really consider using them to cater in the future, I'm impressed with the catfish fillets and honestly everything!”
“I had brunch today at Fats and it did not disappoint. I came in with a larger party than they typically accommodate and they made it work for us. The service and food were both excellent and I sincerely appreciated the friendly hospitality. I will definitely be back because I love supporting this Black-owned business!”
“really friendly service; the person working the counter helped us pick flavors and answer any questions. the ice cream is really good — don’t expect it to taste like dairy ice cream; it has a subtle coconut flavor but is still very rich and delicious. they also have a lot of unique flavors and all of them are packed with addins :)”
“Great place! with a great customer service. Angelica has an outstanding customer service, the food tastes delicious, delicious/amazing. man! It literally tastes like we are eating in Mexico, highly recommended everywhere in here is very clean ????definitely a place to keep we coming back.Kid-friendliness: The staff has a great costumer service”
“A small cafe which you order at the window.Right outside of the bubblegum wall. The menu is there but they have more than what they offer on the menu. Do not shy to ask for other drinks. The coffee is not bad, give it a try when you are there.”
“Really great stylish ambiance, the food was delicious. We each got the special where we got to try several meats, everything was amazing and it was nice that we didn’t need to cook it ourselves. The customer service was lacking but we still had a nice time.”
“Our favorite Seattle restaurant. We visit at least once a month. The menu is always creative with seasonal additions and with the finest quality ingredients. Service is always top-tier! The bar and bartenders are excellent at their craft and the cocktail selections pair so perfectly with the menu - FlintCreek knows what they are doing!Make a reservation and celebrate a special event, this experience will exceed your expectations!Parking: Parking lot just south of the venue, lots of street parking.Wheelchair accessibility: Level entry at street.Mention you need accommodation when making your reservations and they will seat you downstairs. They are great about this!”
“I absolutely had a blast it was so nice to hang out with the kitties, listen to good music and meet new people. The drinks were great and I had to restrain myself from buying merch it was all so cute. I'll be back for ”

“Honestly the most satisfying meal I’ve had in a restaurant in a long time. As a vegetarian with an active lifestyle, eating at restaurants can be unrewarding at times - dishes are often either monotonous or lacking sufficient protein. I was delighted to find that the Nasi Lemak was absolutely stacked with wholesome protein-rich ingredients! The meal had peanuts, egg, tofu and chickpeas, and each was thoughtfully and skillfully prepared. And that was just one of the plant-based menu options on offer.Someone in the kitchen there clearly has direct experience with eating vegetarian - I felt very seen and understood by their menu offerings. The culinary splendor was paired with service that felt like a well-oiled machine, and a lively, upbeat atmosphere. I will be back!Vegetarian options: A must-visit for vegetarians!”
“Very authentic cuisine and the ambience makes you escape to Thailand. The food is very tasty and the spiciness is adjusted according to your wishes. There is nothing on the menu that I would miss. I'll definitely be back!”
“I have yet to hear heavy metal per the negative reviews, but I have heard a lot of death metal which is 5 stars in itself. And they don't allow kids which is another 5 stars. Great beers, great space.”
“Super easy to order online for pickup. And they were friendly.I prefer the non-veggie versions as the ones with lettuce and tomato tends to fall apart easily. The cheeseburger tastes a lot like McD’s. And the hot dog like Five Guys.Nowhere to sit to eat but they have a few metal counters outside.”
“I'm Capt Steve Seattle tour guide Customized Tours and this is one of our customers favorite stops. Customers say one freshly made sandwich is enough for two. Sit in sun or shade and enjoysome great local snacks like Bavarian Meats Landjaeger or Macrina bakery scones and muffins. Always a fresh breeze by the water at Fishermen Terminal. Don't forget to say hello to Captain Joe the owner!”
“Best breakfast sandwich in the area, freshly fried eggs, bacon, and a nicely buttered bagel. Grace is incredibly friendly and we are always happy when we can stop in before work.”
“We dined at Canlis last night and it was absolutely breathtaking. It not only met but surpassed our expectations of it, which were high, as we knew its reputation and prestige. My boyfriend and I are both lovers of good food, he's a head cook at an Izakaya back home on Maui, and I barista and serve at a cafe and lounge. That being said, Canlis was a must on our itinerary for this trip, and I'm so glad we were able to go.From the moment you walk in the door, the service is incredible. Every member of the FOH staff is incredibly professional, personable, and inviting. The atmosphere and architecture of the restaurant also enhance the experience. We had the pleasure of being waited on by Jeff and Genie, both of which were so kind, attentive, and funny, and overall their service was incredible and at the top of their game, made our incredible night what it was.All seven courses were fantastic. While I cannot say that every bite was mind blowing, at least one component of every course, save the salad, had me closing my eyes and leaning back in my chair to savor it. From the moment the amouse bouche course hit the table, I knew we were in for a treat. The presentation, flavors, textures, and ingredients are all incredibly well thought out. I loved the oyster and panna cotta, the bread with local rye was delicious, and the history of the salad made it taste even better. For my courses that I could choose, I went with the venison, porcini, and cacao, and I was so happy with my selections. The restaurant I used to manage worked closely with Maui Nui Venison, where they source from, and I was so happy to learn that they're working with a company that's doing such cool work on island. Living on Maui, you tend to eat quite a bit of venison, but the preparation at Canlis is the best I've ever had. It can tend to be gamey and tough, but theirs was so tender and flavorful, and the presentation with radishes was as sweet and delightful as it was unexpectedly playful. As a big fan of mushrooms, I was so excited for the porcini, and it absolutely took my breath away. I can without a doubt say it's the best dish I've ever been served at a restaurant. The inclusion of the lightly pickled pear was so creative and the flavor and texture provided the perfect contrast to the rest of the dish with a bit of sweetness, freshness, and crunch. The ground almonds were also so tasty and brought a wonderful deep, roasted flavor, and enhanced the umami of the delicious mushrooms. Every bite was better than the last, so lovely. The pre-dessert I'd been looking to all night after hearing it described to a nearby table early in the meal. I love calamansi and lemongrass, and as a sorbet it was the perfect palate refresher before the final course. The pairing with olive oil was also so unexpected and perfect, and I loved the textures that the candied yuzu and compressed apple provided. The desert was good but I wouldn't say great, but I still enjoyed it, and the presentation was beautiful as expected.I also loved the drink I got, I can't recall the name but it was a non alcoholic cocktail with purple corn. Unlike other mocktails, which tend to taste like flavored sugar water, the bitters provided a beautiful bite and it drank like a true cocktail. I also appreciate the presentation, and the fact that the non alcoholic drinks have as much thought put into them as I'm guessing the cocktails do for those of us who want to enjoy such a special meal sober. So good I had to get two.Overall, Canlis was a definite hit for us. Down to the cutlery and plate ware, the descriptions of the dishes, the choreography of the changes of courses, the incredible effort and coordination of every member of the staff, we were very impressed. Such a special experience and I'm so glad we were able to go.”
“One of the best pizza spot in town. As soon as you step inside the mouthwatering scent of freshly baked pizza welcome you to a true five-star treat. Friendly service, cozy vibes, and a menu filled with top-notch pizza? , beer? , and wine? makes it a perfect spot for everyone. Super spacious with an option of outdoor sitting as well. And can’t forget about the backyard patio.Ps: pets? and family friendly?”
“The best to go coffee around. They even recognize regulars and when they see you car, by the time you hit the window your coffee is ready. Fast, efficient, great coffee.”
“My favorite downtown lunch spot for over a decade. This place operates at an elite tier of lunch restaurants that should be aspired to. Great food, great prices, they do a few things and do them very well, extremely efficiently.”
“Always has treats for my dog also they don't have the $5 card minimum anymore. They accept all payments including Apple Pay. They don't accept cash anymore because of safety reasons.”
“We live really close so we come here a lot. Yeah the drive thru is nowhere near as fast as Starbucks, so don’t come here in a hurry. Otherwise, consistently great coffee, great selection of rotating seasonal drinks, and great customer service. I think it’s perfect for a lazy Sunday.”
“Thank you to the person who wrote a review on short rib bone soup! It’s very Very VERY delicious and flavorful. I like that the soup come with a little bit glass noodle too. The ban Chan is as good as usual! Feel satisfied after a hot meal. ??service is friendly too.”
“It’s been awhile and I mean a long time since I ate at Zest Fast Foods. My mom and I love their vanilla ice cream ? the prawns and chips, burgers fries ? just everything. The Customer Service is FANTASTIC ????????????.”
“Great late night drink spot with a bar and drive thru. He’s got food and snacks as well inside. Dude is a gem, one of the nicest around and is really trying to build up the local community vibe in the area. Check this place out!”

Mojito
“10/10!!! Delicious food and wonderful hospitality. Ordered the parrilla mojito, quesillo, and a mojito. Don’t skip the hot sauce - v dank and actually spicy. Wish I lived closer so I could come more often.”
“We loved this blacked owned restaurant. It’s a little hard to find because there is not a sign on the door but get reservations because it’s small. The food is good and vibe is great. We went on a Friday and the wings were great and the pork chop delightful. Go here and support black biz. You won’t go wrong.”
Fine Dining
“Beautiful spot for a dinner date! We went here to celebrate a birthday and the entire experience was wonderful. Food tasted fresh, the two wine options went great with the meals and the dessert was simple but tasty. Will definitely be coming back (maybe during the day the next time since the space is so pretty).Parking is a bit tricky but there is an alley right next to the restaurant where you can find additional parking spots.”
“Wa'z is amazing and definitely worth it! It was our first time trying kaiseki. The pacing is a little bit slower than that of sushi-focused omakase. Nevertheless, the overall experience was fun and the food was delicious. It was nice to learn about setsubun and fun to eat ehomaki in the direction of good luck! Lots of on-street paid parking (download paybyphone app).”
“We’ve been to BT numerous times and always enjoy it, the food is amazing the service is impeccable! This latest visit was a bit under previous experiences in timing of dinner delivery and the temperature of the steak was incorrect. With grace and humility, the manager came to visit the table and work to correct the situation. Justin went above and beyond to correct and we greatly appreciate his and Kelly, our server, efforts to correct the situation. They more than compensated for the kitchen error. Mind you, we’ve been many many times and this is the first blip and correction! By far the best steak in town and stellar service! Will always recommend to anyone who asks. Thanks Justin and Kelly for the service, hospitality and enjoyment of our special dinner out.”
“Me and my partner went to celebrate my birthday at sbs and it was a perfect experience from the beginning till the end, the most delicious sushi we’ve ever tried, the atmosphere was very cozy, the stuff was super professional. Definitely recommend!”
“Wonderful experience at Lark! We took advantage of the four course offering and each course was better than the last. We had excellent service throughout the entire meal and we couldn't be happier!”
“The tasting menu is the way to go! Perfect place to celebrate our first anniversary! The whole staff was so kind and knowledgeable. I asked the bartender to make me a mocktail that would fit the tasting menu and she completely nailed it! The food was all delicious and so experimental and fun! We plan to go back at least quarterly to see what else they come up with!”
“Absolutely incredible experience. Food was DELICIOUS, service was impeccable, and the bottle of wine that was recommended to us has become a new favorite. Thank you for an unforgettable night celebrating our anniversary! Even got custom made menus with our names on them. Very nice touch!”
“This was hands down the best nigiri and kaiseki I've had, even compared to the high end sushi restaurants in Japan it's that good.Dining here feels like I was back in Japan eating sushi at the sushi bars, the table, layout, and size are all the same. And the fish was amazing. Some of my highlights were the smoked fish, smoked krab rice, fatty tuna, and the wagyu beef teriyaki was delicious, very Seattle. It is on the expensive side and hard to get but well worth it if you want some of the best fish in your life.Parking: Hard to find parking on cap hill so bus, train, or Uber if possible.”
“We have been to Copine a couple of times and it is a good experience. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. I am vegan and they have the chef prepare special courses based on the fresh ingredients they have, which I greatly appreciate. It is a very fine dining experience and my palette is not advanced enough to really appreciate it. The experience is a very fun date night or special occasion idea.”
“I had an amazing night last night! This was one of the best dining experiences I've ever had in my entire life. My dad is a vendor here, so we were invited by Teatro ZinZanni to see the show. The performance is world class. And, wait staff were AMAZING! So glad to see Tim Tyler is still performing! Thank you Teatro Zinzanni ❤️”
“Absolutely beautiful experience. Everyone was warm, welcoming, incredibly accommodating of my partner's dietary needs (vegan+gf), and it felt like we were visiting someone's home. There are thoughtful touches throughout, like family photos and dried wreaths. The food was some of the best I have ever had the gift of enjoying! I loved learning about the important Filipino members of the Seattle community. I cannot wait to come back. Special thanks to Olli, Carlena, and Aaron (I apologize for the spelling). ?Dietary restrictions: The team was incredibly accommodating of my partner's needs- vegan and gluten free.”
“Possibly the best meal of my life. We dined omakase and left full and very satisfied. The cook and server were very attentive and friendly, and clearly had fun along with the customers. The food was a wonderful blend of straightforward servings of high quality fish and some more adventurous and surprising dishes such as cod milt and a yuzu scallop. Truly one to remember and I can't recommend it highly enough.”
“The Metropolitan Grill is a great steakhouse in downtown Seattle. I have eaten both lunch and dinner here, by myself, and with my family. They have amazing steaks and great side selections. The service is top-notch as you would expect from a find steakhouse. Thank you so much Metropolitan Grill for offering a wonderful place to eat in downtown Seattle. The macaroni and cheese is absolutely the best.”
“I would recommend this place! We stopped by randomly, but our experience exceeded our expectations. Chef Johnny did an amazing job making us feel welcome! The food was fresh and delicious. We will be coming back soon for happy hour.”
“Great views, food and service. Given the up market price and positioning, the restaurant decor lives up to a bistro and not the extravagance of any top metropolitan high end dining establishment.”
“I had brunch today at Fats and it did not disappoint. I came in with a larger party than they typically accommodate and they made it work for us. The service and food were both excellent and I sincerely appreciated the friendly hospitality. I will definitely be back because I love supporting this Black-owned business!”

Un Bien
“One of the best stops I've made for food. Gone here a few times and staff are always kind, helpful with their suggestions for different and new foods.Love their number 4, really good sandwich. They were able to customize it too.Every single customer always has a smile when they get their food. Additionally when ordering the servers go above and beyond in connecting with you.Dietary restrictions: Easy to customize or pick items with single source proteins.Kid-friendliness: Saw many families here”

Eight Row
“Hands down the best restaurant in Seattle!Make the trip to the Green Lake neighborhood. The food is so well thought out and hyper local. The entire service staff exudes Michelin star knowledge. The wine team has curated one of the best by the glass programs/ bottle list in Seattle. Their attention to detail and sustainable practices is the scale of Nomad.Hands down the best dining experience in Seattle!”
Cheap Eats
“One of my favorite coffee shops in the city.Absolutely in love with the peanut butter coffee (either hot or less ice) and the salty coffeeOthers I've tried and enjoyed are the sesame latte - nice toasty flavor, gloomy matcha - really well done matcha)The avocado coffee was unusual, with the avocado bringing a beautiful creaminess. should be tried once :)”
“This was a fun spur of the moment stop. I was in need of a drink and happened to stop by this location. Not only are the food and drinks authentic and unique, the store itself is such a gem. They have a partnership with an art collective that had some very cute art and pins for sale. I got a tea and spent some time enjoying the atmosphere reading a book. Would come back to! Staff was also super friendly.”
“Best tasting coffees! Pro tip: if you like a mocha, try their Medici. Doesn’t get any better than that. Pastries are all really good too and the Staffs super nice. Cozy inside with a few spots to work and then during the summer they have a few outside tables.”
“Truly excellent pastries! My personal favorite is the chocolate croissant. I've had the privilege of living a few blocks away for the last two years and this place has me spoiled! I've tried so many of the pastries and each is delicious and worthy of their own review. The croissants are soooo buttery and flaky--they're perfect. The bakers here are truly talented and deserve a lot more recognition.”
“These tamales are absolutely fabulous. We bought a whole slew of them for friends and family for Christmas. They made the perfect gift and everybody raved about them. The only thing I will say, is they say they take about an hour to cook but we found longer than that with a pretty intense steam, was what it needed to get the masa dough cooked all the way through. we love the jalapeño and cheese the best but really, you can’t go wrong with any of the flavors. The staff is kind and pick up and ordering is pretty simple if you read all the directions. Don’t miss out on those awesome salsas!!”
“This place is really good, it's a local mom and pops Bodega. They have really good food and the people are really cool here. It's nice to pop in and pop out if you just need some things quick. I'm definitely all about supporting the locals and this place is definitely one of them.”
“The best congee in Seattle. The congees were all cooked in chicken broth so full of flavors and umami. We ordered the scallops, sea bass and blue crab congees, and absolutely loved everything. Not your typical Cantonese congee or Korean jook, but more of a fusion of the both. Have to try the Youtiao / fried dough. It is the perfect companion to your congee.Definitely on the pricier side but worth it!”
“Homemade texture and soooo delicious, everything I want in a cookie! Every time I go to UVillage I have to get at least one. You must try! Ice cream sandwiches are rich and nice on a summer day too. Good options for vegan and gluten free.”
“Love the mushroom based coffee (Tried Brainwash Latte) and their baked goods (Mini Chocolate Croissant). The mushroom coffee is not like the usual ones you would have that are either too thick, “muddy”, or extremely strong on taste buds. I would describe Wunderground version as soft on tastebuds and very powerful on effect. As for their staff and service, sweet and humble.Highly recommend the place for a quick grab/sit down, coworking, or just the weekend chill solo/friends coffee hangout spot.”
“Wow what a nice place, it’s everything I ever dreamed of and MORE. They have excellent foods and lots of yum yums to drink. Thank you for your service, 10/10 would go again every day for the rest of my LIFe. Very classy and casual, good vibes, high fashion ?”
“I think the food here is really good, however the venue feels pretty cramped and they don't have table service. You order at the counter and hope for a table, basically.Kid-friendliness: Very tight spot, so wouldn't recommend people to bring kids here.”
“This place is a hidden gem. 10/10 recommend. The owner is absolutely amazing, so incredibly kind & friendly, & makes amazing food & coffees. Couldn’t recommend this place more. You’ll be taken care of here & all w the view of the space needle. ??”
“MFD is the best Detroit-style pizza in town. The toppings: all of the ingredients are top quality and delicious. For me the castelvetrano olives are the best, but the meats and veggies are all delicious. The sauce: Just right. Enough spices to be interesting but not so fiery that you mind. Creamy texture. The crust: Among the best I've had. Of brands actually from Detroit, at least on par with (IMO better than) Shield's. Buddy's has a special place in my heart and I might give them the crust edge but it's close. Well, close for now, because:The people: Derek himself is awesome. Very welcoming, very friendly, and full of energy. Derek clearly cares about pizza and is constantly looking at new ingredients and recipes to learn from and tweak.Other menu items: absolutely worth trying. Derek's coffee beans make a lovely cup, the jalapeno cheesy bread is the best cheese bread I've found, and others are solid too.Yes, you have to watch for calendar slots to open up and book in advance, but it's very much worth it - and it's days in advance, not weeks or months like certain other chains. Great things are worth the wait.I cannot recommend My Friend Derek's strongly enough. I love Detroit-style pizza, I've tried most of the other great Detroit-style pizzas around (including the ones in West Seattle, Woodinville, and Lynnwood, among others) and MFD is the pizza I keep coming back to.Parking: It's Fremont, so finding street parking can be tricky, but since it's takeout only you only have to find somewhere for a short period of time.”
“Didn't try any food, but went there with a group of buddies for some drinks. Old school basement pub with some pool tables and tons of seating. Loved the atmosphere and the employees were friendly. If I still lived in Seattle, this is where I'd choose to go for a drink.”
“Really enjoy the Vietnamese coffee here, especially their new vegan version since I won’t need to pop 5 lactaids ? This is my formal and official plea for them to bring back their old cups!!!!!Coffeeholic isnt coffeeholic without their signature cups, the normal ones are meh and doesn’t keep the drink as cold.”

Jebena Cafe
“Went for a dinner on a weekend and was able to secure a table without wait although it was quite busy. We were welcomed with a big smile and with pleasant service. Tried qatena and loved it. Crispy like a paper dosa. Doro wot and veggie combo were fresh and delicious. I will rate this as our current favorite Ethiopian restaurant in seattle after Saba got closed. Will visit again!”

kamonegi
“This is a very cozy soba restaurant that attempts the fine dining experience. It definitely stands out among the Seattle restaurants in terms of the food. The food is definitely very innovative and the staff provides really detailed explanations about the serving. My only reservation is that the food is not premium enough to be this expensive.”
“We got takeout here and this place has great dumplings! We got the potato cheese. They come with hot sauce, vinegar, and sour cream. Definitely get the pickled veggies too. The service was good because the food was ready fast, and the ambiance looks cute, we plan to go for drinks soon.”
“I went to this place with a couple of friends for my partner's birthday and I was thoroughly impressed. It is a small restaurant, and seating is scarce yet also high in demand, you'll have to line up at the restaurant before opening to get a spot (unless you have a reservation, which we did)This restaurant is definitely a little more pricey, but it's definitely worth it. Their curry sauce is unique but it is made really well and really complimented the cuts of meat. The pickled veggies they handed out also cleansed the palate really well and kept me wanting to eat more.I cannot comment on the quality of the alcohol as I do not drink, but my friends there that drank said the sake was great. The service was amazing. The waiting staff, and owner were all super friendly and nice, and gave us thorough explanations of which meals they recommended as well as which sakes they recommended.I wholeheartedly endorse this restaurant and will come back again.”
“Wonderful brunch. Loved the dutch baby classic lemon/maple and baked eggs. Exceptional and warm service from Mima and everyone else whose names I failed to note. Will try dinner next time.”

“The best Martini and the best Sazerac I've ever had, and the most knowledgeable bartender I've ever met! Also, I've never seen so many different types of liquor in one place! Go!”
“As always, love this place! The menu is expansive and the food tastes great. Also the rotating specials have never missed! Service was friendly, food came out faster than normal since we went early. Great spot!”
“amazing food! all the flavors are there without fish! a rare restaurant. please support them. they even have a sushi robot rolling around helping to deliver dishes.”

D’ La Santa
“I've searched high and low for good brisket the sides are average but the brisket was arguably the best I've had it was tender juicy the bark was perfect and the flavor was great only downside is finding parking in the area is ”

“This is one of the better spots in Seattle. Well executed, creative French Vietnamese fusion dishes with wonderful flavors and texture. As a bonus, they have a somewhat small but strategically stocked wine selection including many great French burgundy's and Chablis which can be harder to find amongst the typical wine list saturated with Oregon producers.”

“The flavors here are fantastic. Not quite to the point where you wonder how they make them work, but it all comes together brilliantly. Everything we had impressed, and tho you’re paying premium prices you’re going to come away with a special and memorable experience.Service and atmo were good, plating was solid, just not exceptional or anything, and there’s no easy parking.Still, def a solid choice for a special meal with those you love.”

Sal Y Limón
“This unassuming spot has the nicest staff and unexpectedly great food. I had chile relleno for lunch and it was zingy and really special for a lunch plate. The chile itself was so fresh and flavorful, and the filling was a great complement--not a thick/greasy cheese, so maybe goat? And herby. Mmmm. Now I want to go back for dinner.”
“i visited for the first time today and i can’t say enough good things about this place—the sours are the best of the best, employees are super friendly and they have a great selection of games to play while you enjoy their delicious and complex brews. the peach ginger sour is an absolute must try! dirty couch is an absolute gem!!”
“What a nice place, second time I've been there and the service is excellent, the pizzas were delicious, the salad and my shot of espresso were delicious. I enjoyed it a lot!!?? ”

“Very nice restaurant with a small but tasty menu. The service and food was amazing and there was a good selection of desserts after the main course. I would recommend the lamb.”

“Great place with lots of beers on tap, bottles and cans. Flights available with different sizes. Fast and friendly service. 21 and over only. Bar seating. Also meads and cider.”
“My favorite brewery in Ballard - huge selection, beer and cider are always top tier, and love how much space there is between indoor, outdoor, and covered patio.”
“This place has now become etched in my memory, and it has from now on become an absolute must visit spot during every visit to Seattle. Simple indoor decor that feels like any other Japanese place, but once the food starts to roll in, you are in for an explosion of flavor bursting inside your mouth and making all your senses come to life. Remember the movie Ratatouille and the scene with the cheese + grape = fireworks in the mouth situation? That’s what’s going to happen to you.Our server was Landin, and I want to recommend him to everyone. He did an exceptional job, and the entire time he helped us with a huge smile on his face. His recommendations were not only welcome, but they were absolutely on point. Each recommendation made the meal better and better. We started out with an out of this world appetizer of seasonal mushrooms on a bed of spinach. Simplicity at its finest, and yet it had so much umami and fragrant flavor. It was so tasty that I began to dip my pickled ginger in the juices of my appetizer just to keep savoring the ridiculous flavor. We then tried the toro (fatty tuna belly) nigiri and the yellowtail sashimi. Oh my God. The toro was basically butter. The moment you place it in your mouth it just dissolves. And the yellowtail was so tender, so pure in its simplicity, and so sweet. It was literally sweet. Just these three menu items alone were some of the best foods I’ve ever eaten, but then Landin came with some recommendations. We had a salmon sushi roll which was great, but nothing extraordinary, but then came the best sushi roll I’ve ever had in my life. It was a roll with spicy tuna inside, yellowtail on the outside with shishito peppers over it and a squeeze of lime on top as well. The spicy tuna and sweet yellowtail blended so incredibly well, and just that hint of lime is actually what made the whole thing pop in your mouth and take it to another dimension. It was a genius sushi roll combination. After that we had black snapper sashimi which was slightly more rubbery than the yellowtail but also, so sweet. These sashimi were the best I’ve ever had.We thought we’d had enough until Landin came back, asking us if we’d be willing to top it off with another one of his favorites. We obliged. It was just a spoonful. One spoon filled with things that don’t seem to go together: truffle oil, salmon roe, a quail egg. And honestly I’ve never had anything runny like that. But that was the spoonful that had me on the verge of tears…of happiness. When I put that spoon in my mouth, all of those seemingly irrelevant flavors melted together to create a true work of art. It was as if I went to space and came back to earth, in an instant. Seriously…there was a pop and burst of bold flavors in my mouth that just…worked. It was the most incredible spoonful I’ve ever had, and it was slightly sweet, slightly tangy, slightly salty - all at once. It was the absolute perfect end to one of the most incredible and delicious meals I’ve ever had.Thank you Landin for the impeccable service, and I will definitely come back every single time I’m in this city. Thank you.”
“Cozy japanese restaurant! This place was a great meal with some great traditional atmosphere. I got the Variety Ozen for myself and the ika maru-yaki & the black cod collar miso to share. All were really good, but my favorite was the black cod collar miso. The texture was very soft and flaky and the flavor was on point.”
“The place was very busy and loud. The food was tasty, came with a variety of sauces. The waiter did not bring extra spoons so we had to ask for them. I ordered a beer and the waitress forgot about it, had to ask again, though it’s a busy place so I understand. It’s a bit of a walk from where I stayed in downtown, too.”
“Just took my husband here for his birthday and it was fantastic. While my main choice reserving here was for my husband to enjoy the mind-boggling amount of whiskeys they offer, I was pleasantly surprised on how well prepared their food was. We ordered a nice spicy arrabiata pasta dish and Tom Kha inspired type stew. We both enjoyed our meals and felt inspired afterwards especially as we both enjoy cooking at home. Also they surprised my husband with a lovely horchata cake and candle. He enjoyed the whiskey and food. And promises to come back again. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Especially with providing a run down of all the different whiskey options and favorites.”
“This is a fabulous place. Everything was so good. I don't want to admit how much cake I ate, but it was worth every bite. The staff is friendly and go above and beyond.Thank you guys!!”
“I’m so glad we found this Thai Vegan restaurant after having a terrible experience from another fake vegan place in town. Their foods were amazing that you definitely see how much effort the chef worked on the dishes. Beautiful decor. Flavorful taste. Everything cooked perfectly. The server was friendly and patiently explained everything on the menu to us. Highly recommended.”

Single Shot
“One of my friends suggested Single Shot for an intimate brunch, and even though we are from Tacoma and I was hesitant to drive all the way to Seattle just for a brunch spot, it was definitely worth it!Single Shot is tucked back in the neighborhoods near Capitol Hill where you wouldn’t even think such a modern and outstanding brunch spot would be! It was honestly hidden between older homes and apartments and would be easy to miss if you didn’t know what you were looking for. It’s a cozy restaurant inside and has nice outdoor seating as well. The decor is a modern take on vintage style, and being there feels both like stepping back in time but also living in the 2024 you only see in movies. The staff are all extremely friendly with customers as well as with each other. I was new, but I could tell based on watching staff and patrons interact that there are a lot of regulars.I was given a heads up that the food is large, so we decided to do family style dining, and it was truly large servings! I was shocked by how large a single pancake was!! Between the three of us, we still had leftovers! Everything is homemade and uses fresh ingredients too! Even the toast was impressive and toast is usually the leftover filler for small meals, but not here!I cannot wait to come back!”
“We visited this place during the lunch hour expecting a long waitlist…but there was no wait and we got a great seat with a nice view. The food was great as well!”
“Our new go-to for raw seafood and cooked shellfish. Oysters were the best we've had and so fresh. Enjoyed the po boy and the steamer combo. Nice muscat wine to go with as well. We will be back! Thanks Dawn!!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options.”

“PNW concept plates. I liked the sour simple syrup agar gummies in the cocktails. Decor and view are chill and pretty. Sat at the bar as walk-ins; will probably go the same again. Would not bring the Kid; too serene a vibe for Kid and vice versa.”
64
Sushi Suzuki
“A wonderful omakase experience. First and foremost, the food was excellent! But everything else was amazing too. The staff, the ambiance, the sake - all great. Our evening was reminiscent of some of our favorite meals in small restaurants in Japan.”

The Shambles
“Fantastic place to meet for a casual, laid back and friendly (adult) atmosphere with great food. I love to go here for small plates, nibbles and drinks with friends but it's also great for a dinner date (Steak! Do it!) Shambles, please bring back the Moroccan Chickpea stew! It was fab!Parking: Usually restaurant parking is limited but plenty of free side street.Kid-friendliness: Not a place I'd personally bring my kids to, not inappropriate but just doesn't feel like The Shambles vibe.”
“We had the Americano by single origin beans. We think it smells really like durian, which is pretty unique. The matcha latte is also good because of the beautiful latte art and the non-sweetened matcha powder.”
“We came here in between picking up our rental car at the airport and checking into our Capitol Hill airbnb. Food was really good, they have everything from Ramen to sushi. The chicken karage was very tasty. Service was very prompt. Yummy! Would have liked to try the Ramen.Vegetarian options: Few.Dietary restrictions: Fish, meat.Parking: Busyish street.Kid-friendliness: Not really.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes.”

El Gaucho
“Absolutely incredible experience. Food was DELICIOUS, service was impeccable, and the bottle of wine that was recommended to us has become a new favorite. Thank you for an unforgettable night celebrating our anniversary! Even got custom made menus with our names on them. Very nice touch!”
“泡馍!the authentic lamp paomo is my favorite. It is so good that I did not get the chance to take a photo. Cold noodle is pink for the cherry blossom festival special, very unique. Clean and a lot of seating area.”
“Very authentic cuisine and the ambience makes you escape to Thailand. The food is very tasty and the spiciness is adjusted according to your wishes. There is nothing on the menu that I would miss. I'll definitely be back!”

Itto's Tapas
“Oh, this was delightful and delicious! It was my 1st time here. We took the table next to the kitchen (generally I know that table isn't ideal) and watched all the mouth watering food come out so we knew what to order. The food was incredible. I would definitely eat here again. Oh, seating is a little cozy, you can practically brush elbows with the table next to you. If you need space to spread out, this might not be your place. I will definitely be back, so I can try more and develop some favorites.”

“The food here is fantastic, I highly recommend the oyster and pasta…The steak was a bit overly seasoned, and it was a bit too fat for my liking. I don't why I kept ordering wagyu knowing I am going to hate it.”
“Visited Mr. West Cafe in Seattle and was thoroughly impressed by their vegetarian options. The Veg Shawarma was a standout, packed with flavors that delighted my taste buds.Additionally, the Avocado Toast was exceptional - perfectly prepared and a great start to my day. Their coffee deserves a special mention too; it was rich and aromatic, elevating the entire experience. Highly recommend this cafe for its quality food and cozy ambiance! The service was very slow though.”

Carrello
“We have been a couple of times but OMG the food was amazing. A real upgrade. Scallop Crudo was tops. Muscles amazing. Unreal raviolis with a whole shrimp inside and mixed seafood outside. Perfect gnocchi and on and on. We will be back.”

Peloton Cafe
“What an excellent little place to stop by for a coffee & bite to eat. The barista makes a MEAN latte, and the front staff were incredibly friendly. We got the avocado toast and even though the bread was burnt to a nice black, the food was delicious. If we end up in Seattle again we’ll be sure to stop in!”
“The unsung hero of market street. Feel like this place has somehow flown under the radar while serving up delicious chicken with good options. Sauce here is a bit conflicting because they’re all so delicious it’ll rip your heart in two. Chicken sammys are top notch with the barn burner being the go to. The pound of chicken bites is crazy bang for your buck and allows you to not be disgusted with yourself when you ask for 4 different sauces. As far as the sides go the cup o’ gold is amazing and you can’t go wrong with Mac n cheese. The spice here certainly doesn’t mess around. Recommend getting the 1 or 2 star spice if you’re going to dabble. In terms of sauce, sassy, sunny, and that rowdy ranch do the trick, partna.(food smelled way too good to wait and take pictures before inhaling it)”

FareStart
“What a great organization. This is a WIN-WIN idea if there ever was one. Kudos to all the folks at FareStart who are every day rolling-up-their-sleeves helping others learn how to roll-up-their-sleeves. This town is far better for your work.”

“Food was good, service was excellent considering the circumstances of them having a line out the door and the phone ringing non stop!Vegetarian options: I had a peanut based veggie option.Dietary restrictions: I requested no egg & got no egg in my dish.Kid-friendliness: High chairs available. No stroller parking.”
“We were initially drawn by the artistry of Carla’s design and exquisite sugar flowers, but the flavor and texture of the cakes sealed the deal for us. We tasted a wide range of innovative flavor combinations, and easily found something that we both loved. She was also able to accommodate dietary restrictions – making a small gluten-free, dairy-free cake to go along with the primary cake. She worked with us to keep us on budget and delivered a stunning and delicious cake. We kept the top for ourselves and enjoyed it during our honeymoon and we fully intend to order a small cake to celebrate our anniversary!”
“Service was subpar. It was my wife's birthday and the server didn't even acknowledge it whatsoever. Had no knowledge of the menu either. Even though the service wasn't great, the food was fantastic.”
“This is one of the best sandwiches I’ve had in my life. The Reuben is absolutely delicious and constructed perfectly. The soft but firm toasted rye bread, the creamy thousand island and crunchy sauerkraut, melted swiss, and of course the amazingly seasoned and tender corned beef.It is a bit pricey at almost $20 for a sandwich, but it is massive and for how quality and well made it is, it’s worth it. One of the best meals I had in Seattle.”

Issian
“We love Issian. Great menu and relaxed atmosphere. Sometimes it can get quite busy with over a 30 min wait, but that's a testament to the food. Call ahead!”
“This place is a gem! Incredible authentic Oaxacan food served and made by kind folks. Unlike most restaurants I've found around Seattle, they're not afraid to serve things spicy and that makes all the difference. Everything tastes fresh and the prices are unmatched for being in the city.”
“?️ Reservation Tip: Book in Advance! This charming restaurant is in high demand. Despite the rainy weather, the indoor seating area exudes charm and coziness, while the open terrace promises a beautiful dining experience when the weather permits. The staff ensures a memorable dining experience with their attentive service. ? Starters: The 4-piece Melanzana is a must-try! Grilled eggplant topped with fresh mozzarella, tomato, and basil. A surprising delight even for non-eggplant enthusiasts. Slightly salty, but incredibly delicious. ? Mains: The Risotto ai Marsala delivers an authentic and flavorful taste, with generous portions perfect for leftovers. The Pollo Marsala, a Sicilian favourite as it states on the menu so of course I had to get it! Comes with spaghetti noodles with chicken breast in a Marsala wine and mushroom sauce. While enjoyable, I'm eager to explore other menu options next time. ? Desserts: Indulge in the flourless cake for a decadent treat. While the tiramisu boasts a nice espresso flavor, it leans towards the sweeter side with a generous amount of crème. Overall, La Fontana Siciliana impresses with its fresh and authentic cuisine, ensuring a memorable dining experience. Can't wait to return and explore more of their enticing menu offerings!”
“I feel like I just had the most satiating home cooked meal by the kindest family. I will be coming back again and again.Dietary restrictions: There are lots of gluten free options.”

Le Caviste
“I had a wonderful evening this week with a friend at Le Caviste. The last time I visited this wine bar was several years ago. I don't know why it fell off my radar, but it is back on it. The glasses of wine (5 ounce pours) are reasonably priced, and they offer a great variety. I selected a full bodied Gigondas and was not disappointed. The bites offered are also tasty. We opted for the olives, a nice creamy cheese served with an ample portion of baguette, and the tasty roasted mushrooms. Please give this establishment a try! Service was smooth and unobtrusive. I recommend arriving soon after they open at four because the space does fill up quickly.”
“Good selection of dishes, all of the dishes we ordered were fresh with good portion. Spicy soup base was ? for mild but authentic. Good idea to reserved in advance as the place is ”
“A very delicious Chinese spicy ramen shop.If you are a serious ramen fan, you will be disappointed here. But if you want to eat a bowl of delicious spicy noodles, this is definitely a good choice. Although the soup of spicy ramen is not full of umami, it really has the numbing sensation of Sichuan peppercorns, which is really good. The barbecued pork noodle soup is also very delicious. Although the signature Malaysian fried chicken is also popular, I personally think it is too salty and drowns out other flavors. Even the spicy noodles have no taste at all.”

Joli
“Joli pickles its way into your heart. ❤️I won’t detail the dynamic and fun expertly executed cultural fusion food and beverage experience. Instead I’ll just say, “Go”! Come back and comment if you felt this level of review isn’t 100% justified.”

“Went there on a Saturday noon. Herbal elixir was really nice. Solid food and huge portions.Chicken salad sandwich had great amount of filling in it. Shakshuka was average. Ambience was really cool.”

“best Italian i’ve had in Seattle! my husband and i have been here a handful of times and also recommend it to friends visiting! the staff has always been friendly and food is always so good! the bolognese is a favorite for a reason! i also don’t drink so the mocktails are my go too and they’re always good!”
“What a fabulous dinner, thank you so much. Perfect atmosphere for a perfect meal. Everything was cooked amazing, champagne was delicious, steak and chicken wonderful. Can't wait to make this our go-to Friday Happy Hour location.”
“Great place, this type of food is a new cuisine for me and was I blown away. There is a wait around lunch but it moves pretty quickly (line was out the door when I arrive). I got the passion fruit spritzer to balance the spicy bowl I got. Very good, made my nose run but perfect level of spicy. Fresh greens helped balance the meal.”
“we came late and they still made us food and let us dine in and they were very nice amazing customer service and the food tastes so good the best shawarma in seattle and the place is very clean thank you guys”
“Me and my partner went to celebrate my birthday at sbs and it was a perfect experience from the beginning till the end, the most delicious sushi we’ve ever tried, the atmosphere was very cozy, the stuff was super professional. Definitely recommend!”

Beer Star
“Beer Star gets a 5-star from me. They have an incredibly expansive selection of beer offers as well as wine and other non-spirit based alcohols.I hosted my birthday here and they comfortably accommodated 20 people to have drinks and watch football while. It is a big plus that children can be in most places of the venue space. In addition, you can either bring outside food in to dine or choose from one of the two restaurants attached to Beer Star and choose from burgers or pizza. This is a treasure in White Center.”
“My wife and I stumbled upon DeLaurenti Food & Wine while exploring Pike Place Market during our conference break. The inviting aroma of espresso drew us in, and we found ourselves surrounded by an array of specialty foods and wines. We couldn't resist trying their chocolate chip hazelnut, and it didn't disappoint. The combination of chocolate and nutty flavors was spot-on, leaving us craving more. What really stood out, though, was the friendly atmosphere and the staff's genuine hospitality. Calder, one of the food managers, went out of his way to make us feel welcome. His knowledge of the products and his passion for what he does made our visit memorable. The paninis were also a hit – simple yet delicious, with fresh ingredients that spoke for themselves.Overall, DeLaurenti strikes the perfect balance between tradition and innovation. It's a place where you can enjoy quality food in a relaxed setting, surrounded by friendly faces. To Pat McCarthy, Matt Snyder, Nate Plutko, and the rest of the team, thank you for a wonderful experience. We'll definitely be back next time we're in Seattle.”

“Cro magnon sandwich w/ extra Italian is very good! Perfect amount of meats and veggies along with their tasty bread! First time here but I’ll be back soon. Easy to park in the garage and take the elevator up or walk up the ramp.”
“One of my favorite restaurants! The food is always delicious and the staff members are super friendly! One of favorite date night spots. I would recommend the mango lassi, butter chicken, and garlic naan!”
“Cherry Street Coffee was just a short walk from our hotel on Pioneer Square. We didn’t have food, just coffee. My white chocolate mocha was the best I’ve ever had.”
“We ordered 5 or 6 dishes online for takeaway on Christmas and everything was delicious as usual. The food was ready at the promised time (it all took only 20 min) and staff is super friendly. Thank you!!”
“We had dinner tonight, and it was brilliant. The food was great, the service was very good, and for entertainment the waitress was roasting coffee beans over a braizier in the dining room. It would be nice if the room wasn't so smoky, maybe run a fan?”
“Amazing place!!!! Stumbled upon this place and so glad we did!We got such a great taste of Central Asian cuisine, which is so rare to find in the Seattle area. The owner and staff were so kind and helpful! We got the kebab, beef fitchi, and chicken samsa. They showed us how to properly eat the samsa! They even showed us how they cook the beef soup - honestly the most herbal and delicious tasting soup I have ever had! Perfect for when you are sick. The bread that comes with the kebab was so good as well! It was my favorite.Best of all, another very kind patron shared with us his yogurt drink - a traditional drink from Turkmenistan - and it was so good! Sour, a little bit carbonate-y, and milky - I have never tasted this before in the states. What an experience!!! And the hospitality of the owner and staff was unmatched.Highly recommend dining at this gem of a small business when you are in the Seattle area!!”
“Went for trivia and had a great time! The trivia host was wonderful and the food was divine! The beef stew and Reuben really hit the spot. They also have nitro Kilkenny on tap, which is lovely for those of us who don't love Guinness!”
“My favorite bakery in Seattle! I live a few blocks away and stop in most mornings. The food is delicious, the beverages are just right and the price selection is perfect for my weekly budget! Definitely stop in if you’re looking for the best cafe in Seattle!”
“I’ve been coming to the shop for a couple years now. The breakfast egg sandwich and burritos are delicious. The burritos are huge and very filling. Coffee is generally good but not the best I’ve had in Seattle. The shop is beautifully decorated and full of plants. Staff is friendly and welcoming. When there’s a line, wait times can be a few minutes as there’s usually only one person taking orders and making the coffee.I would like to see Nos Nos improve their pastries. The pastries are not enclosed in cases; I’ve had several that were stale even in the morning because they’re uncovered, so I’ve stopped buying them. I have seen some bugs land on the pastries as well. They really should be in cases to preserve quality!”
“The vegetable and the bacon were both pretty good, but the ground beef with blue cheese was SPECTACULAR!! Quick service and the ground beef slice was especially toasted to perfection with juuuust the right amount of crisp. Great spot if you want something quick cheap and GOOD, we came here while waiting for our turn on the underground tour. The baklava was a nice desert to top it off, especially bc I love pistachio ??”
“I had really really high expectations for this place after so many people telling me that this was the only good pizza spot in Seattle. Maybe that messed up my perspective a little, but I still think that this was some pretty good pizza. There's pretty much always a long line out the door, and getting a table inside will cost you quite a lot of time. We wanted to dine in but after seeing the crowd and the delay in getting orders out, we opted for takeout instead. In total, we probably waited around 25-30 minutes outside before ordering, and an additional 30 minutes to get our pizza.Their menu is quite limited which I appreciate, and we got the pepperoni and peppers pizza. These pizzas are large, but also very thin hence the NY style. The crust itself was the perfect texture - thin and crispy on the bottom to hold all the toppings firmly. It was topped with little pepperonis, sweet chopped peppers, and additional sprinklings. I did feel like there was a little something lacking flavor wise, though I couldn't exactly pinpoint what it was. The flavor of the crust also wasn't entirely up there either. For what it's worth, I will say that this is still really good pizza, especially for an area like Seattle. Service is also really friendly which is always a plus. However, if you're expecting something mindblowing or comparable to New York, you probably won't find that here.”
“Amazing place- can’t wait to go back! We did the tasting menu with wine pairings and each dish was better than the last. The wine pairings were excellent and I loved our pre-dinner cocktails. The service was also top notch and I love that they have a super casual, yet refined atmosphere.”
“If you want amzing Birriaqueso Tacos this IS the place to go! I ordered one and could not resist but to order four more! I GIVE IT FIVE STARS ALL DAY A MUST TRY! Dont forget to pair it with a Jarritos!”
“Immortal Joe states that he bought our coffee (Breakfast Blend) via Amazon. He did not buy our coffee. We don't have a breakfast blend and we sell only at our shop.”

“The food freshness, taste, and selection are superb. The service is above par. This would be a 5-star review if not for the 20% service charge added to the bill. No, this is not a tip to your server, it is 100% retained by the company (see receipt) AND it is taxed as well. If you want to show appreciation to your server, it’s another 20+%. There are too many good seafood places nearby to subject yourself to this business model.”
“Everything was great. My husband said the wings are the best he's had. It was our first time trying scallion pancakes. They were recommended by the waitress. We loved them!! Great hand pulled noodles. Loved it all!”
“I visited Salty's on Alki Beach. I think this place is great for an event. It's right on the water, the food is great, and parking is easy. If you're looking for a venue for an event, I recommend you check out Salty's.”
“Great place!Overall the food was amazing, the ONLY thing that I can "complain" about would but the scalloped potatoes with cheese? I cannot remember the exact name.Flavor is perfect, although, it is a bit oily (the oil from the cheese sets on the top).Flavor wise, everything was amazing.Great service.Cheap prices.Amazing atmosphere.”
“This is such a good restaurant. I’ve worked my way through the menu and so far it’s all very good. The cheese plate is one of my favorites. The French onion soup wonderfully different and great. The lamb is outstanding. The rockfish my favorite. Brunch is also great. Parking is difficult. You have to park in the public lot down the street by Dick’s.”
“I had the Tempura Cod and it was hot and delicous. The Spicy Slaw was surprising and refreshing and the fries hot. The cost was fair and reasonable and my guests and I enjoyed our lunch very much.”
“Date night and the food was fantastic! The ambiance, food, and beverages were exactly what we were looking for and there are so many options from dietary restrictions/food allergies to in between! We've eaten here several times and have not been disappointed!”
“Lovely experience for my partner’s birthday. They even printed his name on the menus for us. Every bit of food was delightful, highly recommend going with a group to try several dishes.”
“A wonderful small cafe. I had the best seller the crab eggs Benedict. It was cheesey and great the crab was good. I ended it and the staff was fun and friendly. The place is small and cozy.”
“We had a wonderful dinner.Lettuce bowls, pork satay, and ahi tuna appetizers. The beef short rib and 5 spice duck. All was delicious. Our service was excellent.Would recommend and will return.”
“The place feels nice and renovated, the staff is super nice and helpful. Unfortunately, we found the food to be somewhat too oily (e.g. the ricotta pancakes and the sandwiches) and underwhelming. The salmon beet bagel was very good instead. Coffee was also good. The noise level is somewhat high but bearable. I'd still come back for the vibe and proximity to other Seattle attractions.”
“This is a lovely restaurant, very close to Pike’s Market but without being an overpriced tourist destination. Our waiter, Daniel was extremely good and very helpful.Views of sunset were a real treat. Would definitely go again.”
“Best service, staff, food and fun! Great celebratory atmosphere. The menu has something for everything.** fast forward**3/15/2024 Just went here again,I tried the Vincigrassi (I had to look it up again) Its the white Lasagna and it became my favorite of all time!!!”
“A great place for nice dinners for special occation. Weekdays maybe a lot of business people having large group dinners, and the noise level maybe too high for intimate dinners such as for birthday or anniversary. But the food is just fantastic!”
“Delicious food, that miso bacon burger is out of this world. Additionally, I have to give huge props to the water that came running down the block with my purse that I left behind as we walked to 5th Avenue Theater. That is going way above and beyond! Thank you!”

“Great pizza here, also great Caesar salads. I have a feeling that everything may be great here. This is one of the highest reviewed restaurants I've seen on here and it's with good reason. Friendly staff, great food, I went on one of the first nice days of the year and they had patio seating. They also have a bunch of interesting cocktails that are very good too. They also have an anchovy pizza which is my favorite but you hardly ever see available. I highly recommend.”
“We heard that the way to get a table at Familyfriend was to go right at opening. We showed up 15 minutes early and joined the line. Felt lucky to be seated at the bar. Elmer was amazing! Drinks were great, and the hospitality was even better. Food came quickly and was delicious; tacos had the best adobo I've ever tasted. We also thought the burger was outstanding with great texture, incredible juiciness and just the right amount of sweet onion. Next time, I'll try the corn soup.”
“I have eaten in the restaurant and it was fast, comfortable and delicious. I live a few minutes away from it and have gotten take out several times, much to my satisfaction! Many traditional dishes to choose from. I highly recommend it!!!”
“The sushi was good, I’m not really a fan of super big rolls diameter wise and these were definitely big, but the was good quality. I would recommend smaller rolls and more spicy options.”
“Found this place on Instagram and had to check it out the next day! Everything was great and staff was super nice. I went in the afternoon but I’m excited to try their breakfast another ”
“My visit to this restaurant, although on the compact side, offered a cozy and intimate atmosphere, perfect for our Valentine's Day dinner. We indulged in the 4-course menu, which did not disappoint—each dish was flavorful and served in satisfying portions. The service throughout the evening was impeccable, contributing to the overall delightful experience. A particularly touching moment was when they presented my wife with a single rose as we were leaving, a thoughtful gesture that truly made our night memorable”
“In town visiting friends, staying around the corner and the manager of the hotel suggested this spot.My husband is a serious carnivore and I have a ton of allergies. There were 4 of us so we ordered a variety of dishes to share. Eda was incredibly helpful with answering all my allergy questions. She definitely knows her menu and made sure there was something for everyone. Quality of food is everything and Cocina Casera didn’t disappoint - the soups, fries, bowl, and chicken sandwich were all super fresh and the flavors were incredible! We will definitely be back the next time we’re in town - sad they don’t have other locations - fingers crossed they will soon!Highly - highly recommend!Enjoy - you won’t be disappointed!Vegetarian options: Almost all dishes are vegetarian - you are in charge and can add the protein.Thank you Cosina Casera!!!Dietary restrictions: I have 8 of the 9 top allergies - so nice to find a place that gives you more than one item to choose from on the menu! Almost every item is vegan and you can add an animal protein if you want meat.”
“Delicious pizzas in a cool ambiance with friendly service. The Bird’s Eye Honey pizza is a must-try, it’s a very unique take on a honey pepperoni style pizza. Matcha martini is so good and the Elephants ear dessert cake is the perfect texture. I’ll certainly be going back when I visit Seattle.”
“This place has take out only. Had chirashi for our picnicking at the Green Lake Park today. The chirashi was one of the best. Staff was very friendly. Highly recommended!”
“We really wanted to try this restaurant as it is one of very few Filipino restaurants in this city saturated with other Asian cuisine restaurants. We ordered the Pusit, Beef Mechado, Balaw na Hipon and Adobong Sitaw. I was quite surprised that rice, which is the staple starch for Fiipino and Asian meals, was not included as part of the price for the main dishes like Beef Mechado which costs $32.00, and Balaw na Hipon, $30.00. The Balaw na Hipon was the best tasting of all the things we ordered. The adobong sitaw would have been a side dish at other Asian restaurants, here it costs $18.00 and the serving was very small, it was also very salty. We were charged $8 for 2 servings of rice, which, again, should be included in the prices of main dishes which cost $30 and $32.Our bill for the 4 dishes plus two servings of rice, Before taxes and the 22 percent service charge was $114.00. With taxes, service charge of 22 percent (and tip which was optional)came out to $158.75, which I think is quite overpriced compared to other Asian restaurants in the area. A family which lives on minimum wage in Seattle would never be able to afford to eat here. They should consider including at least one serving of rice with dishes that cost $30 and $32, and if customers want more rice, they can pay extra.”
“I was EXTREMELY skeptical of a pay by the weight sushi place but the photos looked SO good and all the rave reviews had me intrigued. I was running some errands nearby and was in a dire need for a quick lunch. I stopped in on a Sunday afternoon and this place was BOPPING. The trays when I first walked in looked bare but the staff did an amazing job bringing out replenishing trays! I really enjoyed that the give you a tong vs. have a messy tong for each roll/sushi piece. I did a little medley of both sushi, inari, and jazzified rolls and in total I got 8 pieces which came to 0.75 lb - all said and done, it ended up being ~$15 with tax and tip! Now to the good part - I absolutely LOVED every piece and it ended up being the most delightful lunch I have had out in quite some time! I cannot believe the quality of the sushi as well as the rolls. The staff were also so sweet and I am amazed by the quality and taste of this place. I am kind of glad I don't work near here or I would be here every day for lunch. This is definitely out of my way but I can't wait to come back when the next sushi craving hits which will be soon. YUM!!! I am so pleased with this experience!”
“We have been trying out brunch/breakfast places for a while and noticed this place on our commute. Decided to give it a try, twice!Very clean restaurant, great service, food came out quickly and hot, and there are parking spots (though not like a lot, it's a great perk for this area!).First time round, we ordered Huevos Rancheros and the Machaca omelette. My husband is from Texas and has not been able to find any good Huevos Rancheros here in WA but this was the best he's had so far. The Machaca omelette was delicious and a very generous portion. It was really nice to have beans and rice for a carb option! The second time round, my husband got the skillet chicken fried steak and I got the banana Nutella crepes. The highlight was for sure the skillet potatoes with peppers and onions. It was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The chicken was perfectly fine for the price and overall a great dish! The crepes were solid, portions again were generous and I enjoyed them very much.So far, with two visits, it has been consistently delivering great food and service. Excited to be a regular!”
“The food is all very good. I especially liked the seared salmon belly. The rice is an amazing texture. The cashier/waitress also bagged up my food for me to take home. I always find this extra level of service to be nice. I look forward to coming back in a few months and giving a better review. My drink could’ve come out a bit quicker than it did. I waited for water and my tea for, maybe just under 10 minutes. My appetizer also came out after three of my Sushi courses. Maybe they don’t do coursing, but that was not communicated. It also seemed as though the staff they had was not familiar with the full menu. They were not able to make the taiyaki ice cream dessert for me because their main chef was not present, and no one was trained on how to make it. I think these are the kind of things that can be expected from a new restaurant. I look forward to coming back once again when I feel as though they’ve had adequate time to smooth out the bumps. As other people have pointed out the pricing is also quite good for what you get.”
“We had dinner reservations at Messina to celebrate a friend's birthday and to experience the new spot, and we're so happy we did! It stands out as the only Italian gem in Queen Anne. Plus it's walking distance from Climate Pledge so it's perfect for grabbing pre/post dinner and drinks and for great food and service. Our dining experience was amazing. We ordered the eggplant caponata, meatballs, and broccolini – all absolute winners. Our entrees were just as good. The dolce e piccante pizza nailed the sweet-heat balance with its doughy, crunchy crust. The short rib lasagna, osso buco, and pomodoro pasta were spot-on. And their zeppoli desserts were heavenly! I could eat a dozen of those. Our server was engaging and the entire experience exceeded our expectations for such a busy place. Big props to the friendly owner, who made sure our dining experience was top-notch. His inspiring life story and service in the army definitely deserve recognition. We'll definitely be back. Can't wait to check out their brunch!”
“Highly recommend giving this place a visit. Recently opened (within the last month), Lioness has an incredible vibe from the moment you walk in the door, which is carried through in the incredible menu, food, and experience you receive while dining here. While walk-ins are first come, first serve to find a place to stand at the bar, this was the kind of experience I was looking for as a single diner, and the servers and my bartender made the entire experience a memorable one. If you do want a sit-down dining experience, I would still highly recommend, just be sure to make a reservation well in advance. I did have to order a glass of wine next door while I waited for a spot to open up at the bar, but I thought it was well worth the wait. Incredible cocktails, incredible wine/food, and especially incredible service, Lioness is definitely the fun new spot worth checking out.”
