“We came here randomly to celebrate NYE 2024 before heading to a rooftop party to watch the Space Needle NYE show. No reservations are needed, so this place came in clutch. We're so glad we came here! The owners were there and provided NYE hats and party beads, and the whole bar had a champagne toast to celebrate the ball drop in NYC. It was such a nice time, and the owners were very kind in providing NYE gear and champagne for everyone! We had yet to learn before coming here how much of a community vibe you get with this place. We ordered: -The Crab Nachos were super filling and tasty. I'm so glad we got these! They were the perfect final meal to end 2023. I will definitely be back for these. -The Painted Hills Beef Burger was delicious and filling. -While I Was Away - Refreshing and light, perfect pre-dinner drink -Devil's Margarita--This one was pretty strong. I highly recommend it. The flavor mix was interesting. I noticed this was a big hit. There were several tables that got this one. -Some beers, I need to remember which ones, but my partner says they were good! Price came out to be around $100 for four drinks, it's on the pricier side but the presentation and concepts are good. We got the lawn boy, Shaballah, campfire in Georgia, and Snow White's bong. I'd recommend the first two for people who enjoy sweet drinks and the latter two for people who want something different. They have almost 5,000 labels in house so if you're a spirit enthusiast, this is the place for you. Great place to take a date after dinner but service can take a little long depending on how busy they are.“

From the moment we sat down and were greeted by the smiling faces of our servers to the last drop of wine at the end of the night, it was perfect. We all agreed that the food was some of the best we have had in years. Each of us had a favorite - mine was the black cod and the Matiz sardines on toast. Our server was amazing, and the bartenders even helped out with some of the server duties which was great.I wish I remembered our servers name, but she may remember us because I made sure to let them know that I appreciated the service and that it was the only restaurant we went to that offered me another drink. Seems like a low bar to offer to sell another cocktail but it was something I didn't get elsewhere.“

“One of the best hotel experiences I have had in a while. The hotel is lovely, the room we had (queen bed suite) was spacious and clean, and the overall atmosphere was so inviting. We initially booked here because the were willing to accept my 2 adventure cats (not all pet friendly hotels take cats). We did not need to bring the cats this time, but will for sure on our next trip down. The hotel was walking distance to many of the things we were there to see, which was a huge bonus. A massive shout out to some exceptional “everything” people. Bonnie and Chandra at the front desk, so personable and inviting every time we walked through the doors. To Chloe the barista at Pineapple Express who always appreciated our willingness to arrive at 715 in our PJs and fancy robe lol. Every element can stand on its own, the preparation of the bread, sauce, each meat, the crunch element...yum. You can taste the subtle smoke in the meat. It's definitely not BBQ, but a tasty smoked meat shop with delicious prepared options. I pick up a whole guanciale everytime I visit. It has that subtle smoke and rosemary flavor...yum. Just returned to the neighborhood to check it out and learned that they did have to close during covid but one of the staff members was able to purchase it. The vibes and look have remained largely the same and the food which was always a highlight for me was still tip notch. A great selection of draft beers was always true but now they have added a short list of quality spirits. Do yourself a favor and grab a bite and a brew!“

I will continue to come here for special times in my life. Some of the best dishes of my life, definitely on par with Michelin starred restaurants we have tried in the past.
