The Bait Shop is a lovely clash of experiences - it feels both like a down-home small town bar and the epitome of what New Cap Hill could be. Although their cocktails aren't world-class, they really hit the spot and the vibe that they are going for. The popcorn chicken, on the other hand, IS world-class bar food. I highly recommend you make this a stop on your night out.

Fun, lively place in the evenings/nighttime. Excellent bar food - and some really good fish options that never disappoint. THE FRIES ARE INCREDIBLE! As are the wings - juicy on the inside, crispy-crunch on the outside, and NEVER once have they been under done! I used to work next door and we would skip lunches during normal lunch time to order a few things of wings and fries to share once they'd open (they open later in the afternoon, but oh man, the wait was always worth it)....read full review
