We did the MenuDegustazione and were absolutely blown away at the amazing taste and presentation of every portion. In addition to the phenomenal food options, our waiter Aidan was an absolute pleasure and made our wedding night dinner absolute perfection. “There is a reason it can be hard to get a reservation at this restaurant. This is a special place. Hands down the best meal I've had in Seattle and some of the best Italian food I've had in the States. The service is top notch, as they go above and beyond to make sure you're satisfied and cared for. Chef Katie really cares about the food that comes out of the kitchen and it shows. I highly recommend ordering a few dishes and sharing. Most dishes are perfect for two and you'll want to share in order to get a good sampling of the menu variety. You can tell a lot of heart goes into the food as it hits Italian comfort food spot on. Highly recommend the focaccia and you can't go wrong with any of the pastas, but I recommend the tagliatelle ragù if you're looking for something more traditional. The atmosphere is also a unique experience and makes you feel like you're coming home for family dinner. I highly recommend dining at Il Nido, you will not be disappointed.“

“The food and setting are good, but not exceptional. I’m happy I tried Autumn, but there is a reason no one talks about it. For the price point, I would expect to be wowed a little more. Certainly nothing wrong with our dishes, but in a city with great food, there are other places that offer more nuance. Also, the open concept kitchen could do with some thoughtful design improvements, the bright lights, white wall and open door into the prep area are a bit jarring and take away from what could be a cozy space.“

“?️ Reservation Tip: Book in Advance! This charming restaurant is in high demand. Despite the rainy weather, the indoor seating area exudes charm and coziness, while the open terrace promises a beautiful dining experience when the weather permits. The staff ensures a memorable dining experience with their attentive service. ? Starters: The 4-piece Melanzana is a must-try! Grilled eggplant topped with fresh mozzarella, tomato, and basil. A surprising delight even for non-eggplant enthusiasts. Slightly salty, but incredibly delicious. ? Mains: The Risotto ai Marsala delivers an authentic and flavorful taste, with generous portions perfect for leftovers. The Pollo Marsala, a Sicilian favourite as it states on the menu so of course I had to get it! Comes with spaghetti noodles with chicken breast in a Marsala wine and mushroom sauce. While enjoyable, I'm eager to explore other menu options next time. ? Desserts: Indulge in the flourless cake for a decadent treat. While the tiramisu boasts a nice espresso flavor, it leans towards the sweeter side with a generous amount of crème. Overall, La Fontana Siciliana impresses with its fresh and authentic cuisine, ensuring a memorable dining experience. Can't wait to return and explore more of their enticing menu offerings!“

“The food here is absolutely incredible. I’ve been coming for almost a decade and the quality has never changed. The service is incredible, the owners are amazing and charismatic, and the desert port wine selection is fantastic. (Don’t forget the Underberg!) The decor is only a reflection of the flavors in the food and of the stylings of the owners themselves. It’s funny to say but the bathrooms are actually one of my favorite parts of the experience. There is neighborhood parking and a large outdoor patio to enjoy a glass of wine and mingle with strangers as you wait for a table inside as there is only standing room outside which I can imagine is by design as you will see a wide range of folks that go to Bizzarro. The wealthy Wallingford Wilco’s and your regular Seattle weirdos, all coming to enjoy a hidden gem of Seattles culinary scene that has never truly gotten the shine it deserves. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Well deserved and earned.Vegetarian options: Ask your server! Very accommodating service.Dietary restrictions: Ask and you shall receive…Parking: Get good! It’s Seattle! Find your street parking! However you could be smart and call a ride or take public transportation for the opportunity for more wine! ?Kid-friendliness: Kids allowed. Can only accommodate up to party’s of 8! Call ahead to see if there is space.Wheelchair accessibility: It is a tight space but you could manage. I recommend calling ahead of time to allow for proper preparation of a table for a better dining experience. Restrooms may require assistance depending upon the severity of the disability.“

There was a server whose shift ended shortly after taking our orders, so it was just us and the owner/chef afterward. Really felt more like we had been invited into a family home to eat.The food is pretty good, very homey. Gigantic portions.Salmon penne - it could have used more vegetables, basil, and salt (or maybe just less pasta). The owner suggested adding more stuff at home to the leftovers, which I did, and it was great!Chicken marsala - can't go wrong with a cream, mushroom, and white wine sauce. Got to meet the owner Brandon and he took time to speak with us and share that this is his second restaurant. It's been open for about 6 months and he wanted our feedback on the food and the restaurant as a whole. We ordered the pappadelle and gemelli. Both dishes were immaculate. The pappadelle were perfect thin ribbons. And the flavor of the brisket in the gemelli was so delicious. Would order both again. Ambiance is trendy and great for a date night. Brandon was gracious enough to serve us some gelato on the house as well. Not something I personally would order but was pleasantly surprised with how delicious it was. Brandon also connected me with his friend at the cocktail bar Canon - who took great care of us. Thank you Brandon! Would come back to this restaurant again next time I'm in Seattle.“

It was a ton of food and everything was excellent. Lots of great flavors and colors in the dishes. The space was very open and casual in a neat old building. I expected more of an upscale Italian vibe. There were areas of untidiness back toward the kitchen and bathroom. There was modern rock music playing and a large TV with the football game on. The servers were attentive and unassuming, a little cool at first but warmed to us after a bit. We had a really good time and left fat and happy.“

“I love their fresh pasta, palomino sauce, and tiramisu! It's such an easy, restaurant-quality meal at home. I love the cavatappi, bucatini, and pappardelle. The tri-color flavor is fun - love the bell pepper and squid ink as well. They also have some unique flavors like beet and lemon pepper. I'm definitely addicted to their products!“

“Stumbled upon this place while walking and being a tourist! What a cute and unique Thai restaurant. Their decor is unique and very instagram! Flowers all over the restaurant, teddy bears, lighting and all. Very modern but at the same time cozy….if that makes sense.Their drinks are definitely a piece of art and delicious just like their food. Pricy for a Thai spot- but it is Seattle.Highly recommended the chicken wings. It was super delicious and crispy! The pad thai definitely tasted authentic and not “American Thai” and they were generous with the prawns.I was slightly disappointed with the 1/2 duck. I wish it had more flavor and be served with so much bone.“

“These are the best cannolis I’ve had on the west coast!! The crust is fantastic. I grew up on cannolis and, while a bit different, these seriously scratched my perpetual itch for ricotta dessert cream.I only got the classic cream ones. I wish the cream was a bit more ricotta heavy! Maybe one day yall could do a “Sicilian” special?! A girl can dream!Current pick up option is funky, as noted, but also kind of fun!!! Felt like I was at a Japanese vending machine sort of.“

“I can't remember how I heard about Darkalino's but I knew they served pasta and it was in Pioneer Square. I wandered around today until I found it (sure, I could've made life easier by googling it but I didn't remember the name). After some waffling, I decided on the Aglio E Olio - garlic, Calabrian chili (gives a nice little kick), pecorino finely shaved, breadcrumbs which give a crunchy texture I wasn't quite sure I loved, but might?, olive oil, spaghetti. It was good, I enjoyed it and would recommend. Portion size seemed decent and filled me up but I did eat a PB sandwich an hour later so I probably could've eaten more :) The other dish I will try next is the ragu - feel like you can't go wrong there. I saw other patrons eating the Caesar salad and an eggplant parm sandwich and both looked liked they packed a lot of flavor. On the list of things to try. Servers were great. I came in a little after 12p and sat at the bar to eat since I was alone and only the 4-tops were open. It's a cool space. There's an upstairs seating section and also where the bathrooms are located though I didn't need to use them. I like the exposed brick walls with the contrasting white ceiling. Because it's cavernous with no sound dampening it is very loud. Anyway, great addition to PS!“

“Fast casual fresh pasta. Family friendly and great options for meat and veg eaters. Tried the white truffle and aglio & oglio pasta and the eggplant salad. Would get the aglio &oglio again but the truffle pasta was too rich. Ok for sharing but I'd rather try one of the tomato based sauces next time. The eggplant salad was not super flavorful so would skip. The arancini seemed to be a hit at our table as was the tiramisu. Large pours of wine. Fast, friendly and efficient service.Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly pasta options but also fast service means hungry tummies can get fed quickly.“
