Inside area is small, can get very hot in the summer. Patio outside is nice. I enjoy the steak frites, and the house manhattan is my favorite drink here.

Update: no longer hidden, no longer a gem. Two weeks in a row they have a 30+ minute wait with several open tables they refuse to sit. They said it's a staffing issue, but at this point I have to stop coming. Just a waste of my time driving over here.Fantastic spot for brunch. Great drinks, great food, great outdoor area. Super easy ordering system through your phone. Hidden gem ?

I wish I could write a review of their food, because the menu looks delicious and I have family that rave about it. Unfortunately, after waiting for an hour following placing our order, they had not even begun to prepare it. We had to ask about our order status; were only offered a refill on our coffee once; and then were expected to pay for that coffee. Big fail on the service, and though we were calm in asking about our order, we were treated with a surly attitude. Will never return. Get your service act together Maple

We were excited to try this place out, but unfortunately the food just wasn't that good. My companion got a dish that was so spicy (and no mention of spice-level on the menu) they couldn't even finish it. It was all very expensive too. Staff was nice but overall we were disappointed.

Coziest neighborhood breakfast/brunch spot. One of those snug spots built into an old house with mismatched coffee cups and famous potatoes that makes you feel at home. -1 star only because aside from their potatoes, a lot of their food isn't well seasoned so always have to ask for salt and hot sauce to be safe, but their drinks are stellar and they have NA options too!! Note: I prefer 4 star spots in general bc 5 star spots are typically overrated, so this is a 5 star in that sense!!!! Their menu isn't overwhelming and has seasonal items. Always happy to come back.

Everything was just okay! The food, the drinks, and the service. The restaurant is small and cute! They are super busy during brunch, but I really like their communication via text. It allowed us to wander around the neighborhood while we wait for a table. Street parking only, fairly easy to find on a Sunday morning.

Absolutely delicious food and absolutely amazing service!!! I 100% recommend I got the steak friets and not traditional but still delicious. Also the fries are to die for!

Food is great but they wouldn't let our 8 person party in even when we offered to sit in separate groups. It was a special going away gathering with thus restaurant specifically requested. Really a shame.

The food and prices here are spectacular. I love to come here for weekend brunch the chicken and waffles and croque Madam sandwich are top tier brunch food in the city. Quaint atmosphere and incredible service top off the experience.

Nice spot in Northgate for lunch or dinner. It's a converted house with a lot of style and a dark wood look. The food is great, especially the meatloaf and fish & chips. The fish is lightly battered and very fresh. They have a nice bar with some very original drinks. Good service too, they are subtle but very attentive. They also have a good sized outdoor heated area in the back. Great spot!Dietary restrictions: GF options were listed on the menu.Parking: There are neighborhood spots around the corner and a few out front.

Excellent and attentive service, delicious food, great price, homey indoor feeling. Dined here for brunch yesterday for my best friend's birthday. We sat indoors next to the fireplace. We were seated right away. We ordered cocktails, the best one was a hot coffee cocktail. I had the steak breakfast burrito. It was delicious and a great portion. My friends each had an avocado toast and the croque Monsieur which was delicious but expectedly rich. I had originally ordered an interesting beet margarita and didn't love it. I didn't want to return it since I had already drank half but our server was kind enough to comp us for it. Had a great time and if I lived locally we'd be back. We didn't even realize until we left that there was outside seating.

This place is cute! The inside of this house has been really well done and it's very cute. The service was friendly and quick. Tables move here but I imagine there could be a wait in a busy day. Don't worry, you can walk to the ace while you wait. I ordered the chicken and waffles and it served me well. Very delicious and enjoyable. Plus the coffee was good too. I really love a good cup of coffee.
