“I have had the pleasure of visiting the Union Tavern a few times before with the most recent time being the afternoon of Saturday, January 6, 2024. The space itself is rustic-feeling in the best type of way. Red brick walls close you in creating a cozy feeling. The tavern is decorated in a way that is interesting but not overwhelming. I find it cool how they have old doors hanging from the walls!As for food and drink, you gotta love a place that provides you with a basket of complimentary popcorn the moment you sit down. The prices at Union Tavern are possibly the best for an establishment of its kind in the Spokane area. Some of the happy hour specials are excellent and the Union is infamous for its $5 cheeseburger on Tuesdays. My dad and I were each going to get the $14.99 Saturday steak special but it didn’t begin until 5 p.m. so we opted for the regularly-priced burger at $10.99—which is still a great deal in this region. But the drink prices are even better than the food prices. Once again, the happy hour prices are excellent but on this most recent visit I ordered a couple vodka Red Bulls and they were just $5 each! A lot of places will usually charge you at least that amount just for the Red Bull. You can always get a big Budweiser for $5 as well.I have always had incredible service at the Union and it continued this most recent time. Alexis was our server and she was nice, attentive, and accurate with everything we ordered. It was a full bar so I really appreciated the job she did. I am knocking one star off because our burgers were dry but don’t let that deter you from coming…the atmosphere, prices, and service are superb!“
“Unfortunately, with their hours stated as closing at 10 pm, arriving at 8:50 I was presented with the info that the last call for food was at 9pm. We ordered just before 9pm and had a drink, and the server came up and announced last call for drinks was at 925.... We felt like we were being rushed out, with him turning off the restaurant music before we had finished dinner. I could tell we were not wanted, so next time I will just choose somewhere else.Just so you know, when looks at restaurants in the area, most places close at 9, with this establishment closing at 10. I would expect you to get some business after 9. If you don't want that business, just close at 9 like everyone else.“
“I’m waiting for a car service and found this sports bar. Tons of TVs! Great server, she was very attentive. We’ve been on a search for the best chicken sandwich in Spokane Co. I’d rate this one a 4.5 out of 5. This was a pleasant place to spend an hour and a half. By the way, they have a couple of good draft beers as well.“
“It has been a while since I have been in but I won’t wait this long again. Three of us had fish and chips and the other had shrimp and everyone was pleased with their food. Maya was our server and probably the friendliest server we have ever had. She kept our water and sodas filled without us ever having to wait or ask. “I surprised my Mom and showed up to dinner at Pint House Burgers & Brews, on Indian Trail, where our large group (of 9) received superior service and our food runner was definitely special. ?The food was cooked well, their burgers are delicious, and they definitely have one of the best Cobb salads in Spokane.They have lots of TV’s so we were able to watch the UConn/Iowa Final Four game tonight while enjoying everyone’s company and devouring the delicious food.This was my first visit to this location, the valley location is much closer to me. With that said, both locations have great atmosphere and they’re both worth a visit.“
“We spent the entire day there on Saturday for March Madness and our service was incredible! All of the food was hot and tasty and all of our beverages were delicious! They had a call-out, so the owner had to stay ALL DAY. The smile never left his face and he was beyond accommodating for our group of 14. Can’t wait to come back.“
“We came as a large group to watch the NCAA Basketball tournament games. Our wait person Andrea was absolutely fantastic. She kept up with us, and several other large tables. She was so pleasant, and attentive. Great place to watch the games.“
“Great place to go if you are white. My husband and I were completely igorned by our waitress. Well, at first she said that she would be right with us. She never looked at us again until 10 minutes later a different waitress came to get out drink order. Our waitress eventually appeared and took our order. She delivered our food with an order of wings missing. She said that they would be right out and then the table next to us suddenly had wings but ours never came. Finally I caught the attention of a different waitress and asked for our check but that we never recieved our wings. The cook eventually brought the them to us in a to go bag. The other staff picked up the slack for our clearly racist waitress. I am a generous tipper but this is the first time for as long as I can remember that I left a less than generous tip. I honestly do not believe that this was a simple oversight in our waitress’s part. She attended to everyone around us.“
“My Son and I went to Morty's for the Wednesday's Steak and Bake Special. It was the best steak ? I've had in a long time. Very tender and flavorful... salad, grilled garlic bread, and a loaded baked potato. Plus, a couple ice cold beers!! It was all Very Good!“
“The yak dip was pretty good with lots of sliced beef and mushrooms. My husband had the chicken popper sandwich, loaded with cheesy sauce and jalapenos. I recommend them both. Would order them again. The garlic fries not what I expected but had come with actual raw minced garlic, not a favorite! We'll probably be back. This was our second visit.“
“Ok, so this was one of the best experiences we have ever had. For starters, our server (Kerry) took our order almost immediately upon arrival, and our appetizers came out promptly. The table was clear quickly after we finished those, and we didn't have to wait long for the entrees. When she served them, she asked me to cut into me steak to make sure it was the right temp. It was overcooked, and she insisted that she have them refire it and bring me one that was cooked right. My husband had the chicken dish, and he enjoyed it it was well cooked and was tasy. The second steak came quickly and was cooked perfectly. It was flavorful and delicious. I usually have low expectations when it comes to chain restaurants, but this was an excellent experience. I was very impressed. Our server Kerry needs a shout-out because she gave excellent service. We need more like her in the industry. She was amazing.“
“I've been going to Rick's for hell 30 years. I knew the place had been sold, but after Rick passed I didn't have the heart to go in there for awhile.Eventually I did however, took my usual end seat and met the new owners. Great experience, polite and friendly staff, i was made to feel comfortable.I don't go to bars much anymore, but I stopped in for a minute of Nostalgia. Its a good joint, but I miss walking in there and hearing Rick call me Robo man. God Bless brother.“

“Went in earlier this week for dinner and had a great experience! We had Riley as our server and he was great! We had a few issues with our food, but he addressed it quickly and the service made up for the experience. I’d highly suggest the Rock and Roll and the Princess Liaj.“

“3.5/5 Came in for a late lunch on a Sunday. Was not very busy and we got sat right away. It did take a while to get our food ordered and to get the food, but our server was nice and attentive. All the food was good. Sodas were all flat. I enjoyed my Sicilian pizza. The crust was great and lots of toppings. Daughter had the crispy chicken sandwich. The sandwich was good she just wished the chicken was a little more crispy.“
“Ever I started coming to this I've felt like I'm becoming more and more like myself. I just can't wait until I can get my check back from the Spokane community college and then pay my debts. Then maybe move forward in my life and the city I live in with all these other people that are living in the same city. I like this business because it's local and I support the people that I choose to let be in my circle. I see real love here, a family of people that can just be themselves and listen to the same music and act like a goof or not act like a goof. People will let people be themselves up until I think of themselves are gonna hurt themselves or someone else's. I do honestly feel like maybe I'm slowly becoming more and more like family around here in Spokane. Where as before I was being quite so open and able to trust others. I don't choose the future or a future but in a way I kinda can choose my own future. I'm not trippin. But I am trying to keep putting 2 & 2 together, hopefully you and I would get four. I think if it makes sense and we can reuse it and it helps us out on some sort of and we should totally do that especially if it helps make money then we should totally you continue to repetitive do this thing that houses that makes sense.Kid-friendliness: I'll tell you what last night I thought it was Halloween night and I like everybody at this bar was like having a good time with dancing and I was like imma go for a walk meet up with this chick. Well I'm at the chicken for and she's a friend of mine and I came back to the bar and I was like damn that's what's up. Either way I figured out it wasn't but if that gives you any idea about the kid–friendliness and that everybody was dancing last night and having a good time and I thought it was Halloween but it really was not Halloween night...
