We stopped in for a couple of cocktails, and really thought this place was cool. Went on New Years eve, weekend, so it was seemingly quiet when our group stopped in. The servers were attentive, and friendly. The other patrons were talkative with my husband when he ordered our drinks. Will be going back.
In the mid sixties, the place was called Pats Tavern at that time. My Kappa Sigma brothers and I would be either there or at Jimmies Tavern across town. Overall good vibe with fun female bartenders! A bit busy downstairs by the bar where the one pool table was always occupied. Upstairs where we hung out were big buck hunting (brought back good ol Hawkeyes college years!), foosball table and old school non-electric dart with chalk-score board! We were recommedned the place a cute local gay couple during our ramen outing at Mochi and had to hit the place up. It did not disappoint! Will definitely be back!
