The food was delicious. I had a total of 10 of us and the food came out nice and hot for all. Everyone was pleased with their dishes. Service was great!

This is my favorite place to come when I'm in Tacoma (so far). It's such a cute place for lunch with the atmosphere and even better for dinner. We had the calamari and the caprese for appetizers (the calamari was a tad overcooked but honestly it's hit or miss with calamari and so easy to accidentally overcook) it was still good and the caprese is *chefs kiss*. We split the Tricolor Tortellini and had a salad that I didn't get a picture of, and this has been one of the best things I've eaten since I moved to Washington. The garlic cream sauce is amazing, and the artichoke hearts with the tomato is just like the cherry on top. I order this every time I'm here and would even get a second order to go because it's so good. 10/10 would eat so much here because it's all been amazing, and I'm already planning what I'm going to have next time we come! They have the ability to seat large groups (both times going have seen a group of 10 people/family here) buy would likely need to call ahead, I've never had to call for a reservation but we also haven't gone during very peak times.Vegetarian options: Caprese, fried ravioli, various salads and tri color ratingWheelchair accessibility: Both entrances do not have steps

We had a lemon chicken special for lunch last weekend and it was AMAZING! Literally came home and searched for a recipe to make a similar dish (no such luck). My friend with me has a shellfish allergy and we didn’t realize shrimp was part of the special. The waitress promptly took the plate back and had the chef remake the dish. She was so nice and efficient through the entire experience! Highly recommend stopping by when you’re in proctor.

Service was awesome! The food is not. Only worth your time for a quick lunch break but don't go out of your way for it.

I stumbled upon this place while searching for a decent Italian restaurant in the area at the last moment. Google directed us to park behind the restaurant, but you can park on the street out front if there is space. We were a little confused if we could walk from in the back door for the restaurant to the front, but thank goodness we chose to walk around to the front, because the back door is not intended for entry for customers. I wish that was more obvious. It was a Saturday evening so they were fairly busy, but we got lucky because a couple was leaving from the bar area so we were able to get seated there. I enjoyed the seat because we were in the bar area but at the front window so we could enjoy people watching during dinner. The staff was kind and attentive. The atmosphere was laid back and easy going for the most part. Not stuffy or uptight. Which I appreciate for a chill meal with my niece. Before our ordered food was ready, we were offered bread to go with the olive oil and balsamic already on the table. I chose not to have any, so I am unable to say if it was good or not. It was Italian bread cut into 4 hunks. I ordered the calamari and it was fresh, crispy, and nicely seasoned and a tad oily, but that is typical I suppose. It was served with an aioli and lemon wedge. It was extremely crispy and had varying sizes of actual calamari pieces. For my entree, I ordered the seafood medley with the white wine lemon butter sauce. The dish came with a choice of salad or soup and I opted for the salad with Italian dressing. I was not very impressed by the salad. It was very basic which can be okay if done nicely, but there were some dirty sliced mushrooms thrown in there an American lettuce salad mix and the dressing tasted like a typical bottled dressing. The pasta was nice and hot and had all of the seafood it says on the menu. The pasta was linguine and it was served al dente. It was seasoned nicely but I think it could have had more lemon and or wine flavor, but I still enjoyed it. I attempted to order the Kahlua chocolate mousse cake, but they were all out, so I had the tiramisu and it was okay.Overall, I am happy with my visit and meal. This is a restaurant (in my opinion) for an outing with a friend(s) or family, but not for a romantic upscale date night.

First off, Richard gave us the best service we’ve had in many years ANYWHERE! We walked in, sat down, and couldn’t believe how fast we had drinks and appetizers. The food is phenomenal! Super authentic, made to order and delicious! I can’t wait to come back. ❤️

So, I'm not sure where to begin. I'll say up front that our server was very sweet and very attentive, so this review does not reflect that. Our drink (the Italian Mule) was delicious! Everything after that was... a disaster. We ordered the calamari for our appetizer and it was the driest, crumbiest calamari, I've ever had. You couldn't even call it rubbery-overcooked. It was like calamari chips. (It also came with what looks like a full serving of fried spaghetti -- really weird. After, we ordered two kid meals and two adult meals. The adult meals came with a soup or salad. I won't speak for my spouses soup, but my caesar salad was warm-ish lettuce with grocery store dressing and parmesan. I ALWAYS finish a salad, and I couldn't eat half of it.When our mains came, our daughter's spaghetti and red sauce was fine. My son ordered kids chicken nuggets and fries. What came out was nuggets, those smiley potato things and 5 huge pieces of absolutely raw broccoli. And listen, if they had said "Chicken nuggets and smiley potatoes," no harm no foul. But it definitely wasn't what we thought it was. (Also, raw broccoli on a kids plate?)I ordered the "Carbonara." I knew it wasn't exactly carbonara from the description -- garlic cream sauce topped with gorgonzola. BUT, I like garlic cream sauce and gorgonzola, so I ordered it based on the description. What I got was a barely seasoned, hardly edible plate of cream-ish pasta and a few bites of chicken. We live in Proctor, and have heard nothing but great things about this place. We tried to come for dinner once mid-week and were turned away because we didn't have a reservation. This place is resting on its regular's laurels and it shows. Which is SUCH a shame because it's in a perfect spot, in a great little area of Tacoma.

This was by far the worst meal I have had in a restaurant I can ever remember. I am not exaggerating when I say I have had MREs better than this. The food was bland, stale, and utterly disappointing. I have had better meals in an airport Chilis and from frozen dinners. To be fair the Italian Mule (a limoncello Mule) was genuinely good. Sadly everything that followed was terrible. The calamari was dry and thin and just empty of any flavor. My veal piccata was likewise devoid of anything even vaguely enjoyable. I’m not eating this restaurant so low in comparison to authentic Italian in Italy (though I certainly could). I’m rating this restaurant so extraordinarily low when compared to a re-heated frozen pasta dinner or honestly even to leftover cold Mac and cheese. DO NOT EAT HERE. Profoundly disappointed. And I cannot possibly comprehend how it was so full.
