Haven't had decent NY style pizza since I left NY 5 years ago....until now. Salomone's Pizza here in Tacoma is IT!!! Perfect crust, perfect sauce to cheese ratio! A 10!! Made me miss NY!! ???
My Wife tells Me I can get NY pizza, I’m all in (Queens, NY). So I go to there site to order a pie for the game. As I am about to complete payment, there is an additional fee added for their tech. Seriously!!! Not paying for their technology… Guess I’ll go get a pizza from somewhere else.

Went in here 5 o'clock Friday night dinner time. Tried to order a calzone, lady working said they didn't have any tonight, tried to order a slice of Bronx again lady said they didn't have any tonight. Told me I could only order what was already mad and pointed to a selection of 3 different pizzas to choose from. How about MAKING what I ordered that is on the menu. Not very prepared for a busy friday pretty rude that so early in the night they refuse to cook what I ordered. I wont be going back ever.

Sadly, the pizza in this area is mediocre. I have long preferred Domino's to anything in the Tacoma area. That changed when I tried Salamone's. To my surprise, it was a strong reminder of great NY style (cheese) pizza. This will be my preferred pizza spot now. It's not perfect -- I don't like the crust. It's not as light and airy as I like.Overall though they lap the competition. Easy 5 stars.

I moved here from NY two years ago and couldn't find real NY style pizza until I went to Salamone's. I went twice this week and it's 40 minutes from my house.The service here is fast, and the staff is friendly, available by the slice and delicious! ?

Handed us menus from the counter and said we could sit wherever. Ten minutes no server to the table to ask about drinks or order. A three top comes in and knows the workers, gets seated, and served asap. We finally just got up to leave after 15 minutes. Server calls out to us "Ummm Bye?"Yeah. Good bye and no thank you.
