Took 30 min to get someone to even come to our table. four waitresses kept walking by as if we were not there and ignoring us. finally sent the bar back. they all were twitching and were surely on some mind of drigs6. was the weirdest visit ever. Will not go be k. so sad as it used to be a nice place and have been going for over fifteen years. now full of tweeters including the staff.

Matador is delicious! Our waitress tonight was Alex and she was phenomenal! The Steak burrito, Steak Matador Bowl and service were 10 outta 10!

Tacos Al Pastor here were phenomenal! And they have a huge drink selection, I think the drink menu is bigger than the food menu... ? If your into architecture, they have a ton of hand cut (torch/plasma) metal work that is one of a kind! Very enjoyable place!

Great food and a great service. Very loud music so don't go if you're trying to hear every word your party is saying

Can't speak to the food our appetizer was good. Maybe a bit overstated on the heat. Not too hot. But the heat hid the flavors. The tequila was good but no margaritas. Really the restaurant was a bit of a letdown but I hesitate to say so because the service was truly 5 star. First class service from the young man serving us. He knew when to be there and when to let us talk. Professional.

Always a great place to go! Great food, vibe, service and a wide selection of alcohol to choose from.I had their watermelon martini or something like that recently and that was made perfect! Not too strong not too sweet but I definitely got a good buzz off it ☺️.PARKING - Slightly annoying to park around there though a lot of one- ways, or reverse-in parking only and angle parking off the main streets. I won't knock them for that since thats out of their control.

We met a friend here for late lunch recently. Server seriously needed more training. Had to request silverware after the orders arrived and in the interim she apparently had something more important to attend to. One order was incorrect and eventually replaced. Never returned to the table to ask about the food or is anything else was needed. Food was OK but seemed like a steep entry price for tacos.

Service was good, food was good! A little pricey but still worth checking out. We got the triple Dip flight and it was a good variety of items! Fresh guac, spicy quest and bean dip. They were all super good and four of us split it perfectly. I also got the habanero enchiladas. Flavor was great and the name is accurate, they're pretty spicy!!

New favorite Mexican restaurant in Tacoma!!! Downtown location makes parking tricky but the food is well worth it. This is not a "hole in the wall" restaurant with very nice interior decor. Menu has a nice variety of options and our group of 4 loved everything we ordered. I had the habanero enchiladas and asked them to change out the chicken for shrimp. They used huge shrimp and they were delicious. The sauce flavor combos are all amazing from the salsa that came with the chips to the enchilada sauce. We will be back!

Sooo good! We went for a quick happy hour date. The food was amazing and our waitress at the bar tonight rocked. The hostess wasn't super welcoming but other than that it was the perfect stop on our night of fun!

Too busy for the staff to handle. Would have been better if they would have turned us away. We would have tried it another time but now we won't go back. Very slow service, messed up our order, and didn't seem to care. We still tipped very well.

This is one of our favorite restaurants in Tacoma. They have excellent carne asada and most of their dishes are delicious. I'm not a fan of the happy hour menu, that's my only complaint. No drinks at all and the food is not up to par like their regular menu. Stick to the regular and you will have a great dining experience! The staff is always friendly and attentive. Love that they are open late night. The margaritas are so yummy I never leave an unfinished drink

Just wanted to update my review to give my new favorite waitress/server Bailey a shout out! She's the best. Super friendly and nice. Patient with any questions my friend and I had about the food and alcohol. She even checked up on us twice after we paid! I feel like that never almost happens. Usually after paying most servers don't care anymore lol. Thank you! Also the dip flight was delicious. My fave was the black bean then the three cheese queso. Ribeye tacos were pretty good too.

Some quick informational items... No reservation option is available. At 5pm on a Saturday there was a 45 to 60m wait time. There is a limited Tap selection, but it works. There are signature cocktails for you to try. The food has a lovely flavor, tastes fresh, and the staff was kind. We were not checked on often, but it was adequate for our party of four.Would I go back? Yep. Maybe try a less populated time.

Creative modern dishes that look great, but taste below expections. I've had better Margarita's at lowkey places. Decor is great, but prepare for a wait even if they aren't that busy. It's downtown Tacoma, not Seattle.
