Bahama Breeze is a fun restaurant for rainy spring days when you want to pretend you’re on a beach in Florida. The food my boyfriend and I had was pretty good: the bean soup, jerk chicken, coconut shrimp, and Key Lime pie. I did think it was a little overpriced, but to each their own I suppose. The chowder has great flavor, very tasty and they don’t skimp on the seafood. The chicken tostada salad is the bomb. The dressing is fabulous. This restaurant is my first stop when I visit Renton. Key lime pie is great also. Service is always good. Only regret is they don’t serve sweet tea.

We had the Blackened Mahi tacos with yellow rice and beans. And a side of plantains. The food tasted delicious with great flavors. Plantains were amazingly delicious. Only complaint was the fish was a bit over cooked and our waitress really didn’t come back by after we were served our food, although she was friendly when she greeted us and took our order. The ambiance was nice with good music in the background. Overall great experience!
