Such a cute little spot! Love the gourmet grilled cheese and tartine options as well as love that they have great chai tea lattes! They also have yummy desserts but we tried the beignets. They were very good but did not taste homemade. Next time I will probably try one of the pastries for dessert. Overall it was really good and I will return and recommend it to others!

I don’t write reviews often. My boyfriend and I to try this place out. Seemed like a hidden gem. He ordered the iced chai and it was very good! Not overly sweet but very smooth. He got the ham and Gruyère and I got the tuna melt, it was a solid sandwich. Asked for greens and tomatoes to be added on the tuna melt, I had no issue paying extra. Only received a very small amount of greens. Not a big issue. The tuna salad was slightly salty so I asked for a side of tomatoes which helped balance out the saltiness. The bread was toasted perfectly. We took the rest of our sammies in a Togo box.We ordered the lemon butter crepe. I’ve had this at other patisseries so I was excited to try it here. It came out… no color on the crepe and drenched in a thin sauce. It looked and tasted raw. Anyone knows that color on food adds depth to the dish. The crepe was drowning in sauce, which made it soggy as all get go and slimy. We had two tiny bites. The waitress asked if we wanted a Togo box for the crepe and we politely declined. She asked if we were not happy w it and my bf being a sweet man said it was something we’re not used to. She said okay and took it away.Got the check and it wasn’t taken off.Never in my thousand of outings has an establishment not taken an item off bc it wasn’t suited for our taste buds. My family owns 3 restaurants and we always offer to make something else or take it off the check if it obviously hasn’t mostly been eaten.I went to pay and asked “I’m curious why the item was not taken off” and she replied with “was something wrong with it?”. I simply told her that it tasted raw and that it wasn’t the most pleasant bc it was slimy and undercooked. She said it’s a wet crepe so it’s going to be mushy. She took it off kindly and I bought a bottle of wine from their storefront. If I didn’t experience that crepe or it was taken off like all other establishments would do, it would’ve been a 4/5.Might go back for sandwiches and tea.

Fabulous food, great service, delightful ambiance. Be sure to enjoy this gem!! Your persistence will be rewarded. The Monte Carlo, the Figgy Piggy, and the BEST tomato basil bisque made fresh every day are special selections you'll want to experience. We had to take an extra quart of tomato soup home for later!

Sweet little restaurant! We came for the gluten free crepes, and they did not disappoint. I got the Monte Cristo and it was so tasty! We also got coffee, the French press came with a timer and it was delightfully strong. They also had dairy free milk/creamer options. Would love to come back and try something else!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free crepes, dairy free milks.

Cute place in an odd location. Part of a strip mall across from KFC. Made reservations by phone for breakfast at 9am on a Saturday. Let them know we were celebrating a birthday when I made the reservation, but I guess they don't do anything special for birthdays. It is a restaurant and market. The inside was cute and service friendly. I liked the fresh flowers on the tables and the placard on our table with name.We ended up ordering the brunch frittata, which was delicious with the fresh sliced fruit, and the caprese crepe. The caprese crepe was just okay. We expected sliced roasted tomatoes, as listed on the menu, but instead got a marinara sauce. Since we were still hungry, we ordered the lemon crepe to share. It was yummy, except for the few bites with a pat of salty butter. I'm not sure why the butter isn't brushed on inside, but the salty butter slice bites weren't good. The lemon juice on it was nice and fresh. The coffee wasn't great either. It tasted old and burnt. Overall, it was just ok. Only one food entree was great, so I'm not sure we'll be back.

The Crogue Monsieur is amazing. I went with my son, and he said his grilled cheese was better than Mama's. We highly recommend Crest LA Vie and we are making this a regular stop. Bon appetitKid-friendliness: My son said that the grilled cheese was better than Mama's
