Great stop heading in or heading out of Portland...The oyster po boy was somewhat bland but my mixed green salad was very large and yummy.My wife's Fettuccine Alfredo might be the best we have either had in our entire life (no kidding)...Terrific mixed drink selection and assortment of tap handles.Everything is reasonably priced!
Nice evening for eating out. Decided to give Frontier House a try. Server did an excellent job, was super friendly and gave her honest opinion on the food. We started with Brussels sprouts and Kale as a “shareable” OMG! So Good! I had the beet salad and the hubby grabbed chicken and dumplings- apparently these are both house favorites. Abit more red onion than I’d do on the beet salad - but overall- extremely tasty. The salad came with golden beets which definitely helped...read full review

I love Frontier. They have high waiting food and the wait staff has always been really nice. They have a real chicken sandwich made with real chicken breast, not the food service type with fake grill marks on one side. The chicken and dumplings are a favorite of mine, especially in the cooler months. Yum! Ambiance is good though it can get a bit noisy if it's full or there are big tables sat.
