This was always our go to place for great Italian food. Unfortunately COVID has made the owners decide to continue with their takeout only option. Since we live 40 minutes away takeout leaves us with cold food when we get it home. We decided to go ahead and order for Valentine’s Day. We got it home and of course we had to heat it up. The salad was great with a huge portion. Unfortunately the baked rigatoni was very dry. Hardly any sauce in it. The pollo spinachi was supposed to have artichoke hearts in it, which is my favorite part of the dish. There was absolutely none in the dish. I love garlic but this dish was very heavy on the garlic. Totally disappointed.

This place should let customers know there is no dining, we drove long distance to the restaurant, the guy said: sorry it’s been about 3 years that we closed our dining room, TO GO ONLY. So ridiculous!!!!

Lots of information from the street except that there is no dine in, until you get up to it. In the rain it's difficult to stand around reading the signage. Was not greeted when entering, just someone glanced up twice from the kitchen? Lots of driving around to find a spot to park. based on the reviews I might come back to try the food, but reduced a star due to response from owner.

My family and I have eaten here for years, been up and down the sizable menu, and the food is always exceptional, my favorite in the Portland/Vancouver area by far.The red sauces are hearty, tart and sweet. The whites are delicate and complex. My favorites are the picattas and the Linguini con Gamberi, large shrimp sautéed in a perfectly balanced white sauce. Olive, garlic, butter, lemon, parsley--you taste them all. Wonderful!

About once a year I risk trying Italian food in the Portland area, and have been doing this for about four years now. Every time, I get reminded why I only try once a year. It’s just disappointment across the board here. While nothing was inherently offensive (apart from the frozen, crystallized icing on top of the clearly purchased cheesecake), nothing was memorable. The vodka arabiatta just tasted like… pepper heat. It wasn’t even that spicy, but it was the only flavor. There was no vodka sauce flavor here. It was fine? Threw it away without finishing it. The Prosciutto con Panna was better, but even here it was fairly meh. The only flavor was cream. Overall I didn’t hate it, but I would never come back here and I didn’t keep the leftovers.

I was in town for work and decided to try this place. I was not disappointed. I ordered the Tortellini con Panna Rosso online and it said it would take about 30mins. To my surprise the restaurant called me to say they could have it done for me in about 15 mins. It was a short walk from my hotel. The staff immediately greeted me and was very nice. The food smelled amazing. The portions are very large. I have to say this is the best Tortellini I have ever had. It was so tender and the sauce as amazing. I will definitely be coming back before I leave the area.

Takeout. I liked my pesto sausage dish which was very tasty and smelled great. I didn't care for the garlic bread which is odd for me. Dessert was typical for the dessert; I didn't wait till it entirely defrosted which is on me; I had my own whipped cream! Spendy for sure but I would try again next time I am bored with my own cooking.

So delicious and home made. Romano tortellini is to die for. Flavor. Soft. Fulfilling. Very professional and caring buisness.1 year edit: had a special date night, 80% of it was good. Date very sad and felt skimped on her lobster seafood mix pasta. We found maybe half a handful of any fish or protein at all. Flavor wasn't bad, at least.

This is such a wonderful and classic Italian experience. Service very kind, you walk in and it feels like home. They treat you like family. Food was 10/10! Exactly what we were hoping for and the portions were big which was refreshing. Really glad we tried this place and will definitely be going again to try their other dishes! Highly recommend the Tortilini, garlic bread, and Rigatoni. The tortilini had a wonderful four cheese sauce that came with it along with spinach, garlic and spices. Garlic bread was tender and flavorful. You will not be disappointed :)

The tiramisu was delivered with no toppings which made it taste bland and dry. The description and photos showed otherwise.
Ordered the pasta with meatballs and the spicy penne for delivery. I was not disappointed. The penne with sausage was as spicy as advertised and the pasta had a good texture. The partner enjoyed her spaghetti quite a bit. The food ended up being the pasta comfort food we wanted.

Dined in. Server was older guy and he was really unfriendly and awkward. I don’t think he smiled once. Chicken parmigiana was dry and the sauce way too salty. Too expensive for such a disappointing dish. Also noticed server was nicer to white customers and that made me
Ordered chicken parmigiano for delivery. The marinara had good flavor, but there was a ton of breading and hardly any chicken. It was obviously a chicken cutlet, which is already thin, that was then cut in half. They tried to mask the lack of protein by layering on way too much breading. It was a poor attempt at a coverup/cut corners kind of job to save a buck. The chicken that was there was dry and extremely chewy. I ended up throwing it away. Delicious dish if all you want is breading and pasta. I included a photo to show how barely there the chicken was.

I got the puttanesca, pasta siciliana, and the creamy lemon chicken piccata. Took them home and five of us ate very well. I don’t frequent this restaurant a lot because I don’t live close but when I have a craving for Italian, Little Italy’s Trattoria fills that craving.
