Called to see what kind of oil they use in their deep friers bc I’m allergic to soy and few other items and person who answered sounded drunk and wouldn’t bother to answer my question and hung up on me.

Today we were very disappointed with Railside Brewing. We have been here before and enjoyed it as they have great beer! But today we stood at the bar waiting to be noticed by the young lady busy visiting with some other patrons (this was early 3:00 pm.) Finally she noticed us and acted like we were bothering her when we ordered. She had her young son behind the bar with her and reluctantly gave us our beer. We planned to eat there but after a few minutes we realized that could be a long process getting service. We gave her a $20.00 bill to pay for our beers which were $6.00 each but when she gave us our change back it was only $7.00. I guess she took her own $1.00 tip. Needless to say we probably won’t be back.

Update - Still great!Great beer, awesome Reuben sandwich, and did I mention great beer!!! The owners, Mike and Onca (sp?) are great! Always enjoy talking to brewers that have a passion for what they do!

Pretty good pizzas. Good beer. Lacking in service. There is a lot of competition in the area with the same angle. Place is pretty small - which is fine. It's a truly craft beer brewpub. It's their OWN beer. That's great. They have a good little patio in the shade. A few tables sheltered inside. From a business standpoint- I think they'd do well to find a different space and raise their level up next to the other choices in the area with more space; more employees- to average out the service and experience. I think maybe keeping tabs on the service persons' attitude and how they come across to the customer is important to raise the customer's perception of satisfaction. I'll definitely come back and give another star if I can.

My overall experience of this place sits at a crisp: 3.9/5.0 Here is why...Cleanliness: This place is clean, but there can also be a feeling that it isn't. This is true of most pub-like breweries. No complaints about where it counts: bathroom, tables, and dishes. 9/10Service: It was a good experience overall. Nothing stands out as over-the-top amazing. We were regularly checked on and asked if we needed anything which was great! I do wish that they served flights or something like that. 8/10Quality: This is the most subjective category. I would say that the food is high caliber. Burgers, nachos, pizza, and sandwiches are all great quality. Sadly, I didn't find the quality of the beer to match up. It wasn't bad, but I would have loved to see more creativity and more options. 7/10Environment: This is a small and intimate space for a brewery. It can feel a bit cramped for space and noise, but it works. The parking and location are definitely odd and not welcoming, but once you get past that, I think you'll find yourself enjoying the experience. 8/10Uniqueness: There are breweries everywhere these days. If you want to survive, you need to standout from the competitors. I can say confidently that the food stands out, but not the beer. I couldn't tell you the difference between the beers offered here and most other breweries with the same styles of beer. But, that being said, there is still a unique experience to be had here. 7/10

"Never judge a book by its cover"Fairly new to the area we dropped in on a lark for a cold beer. First impression was a bit rough and tumble, but great beer on tap and the grand surprise was the Cubano sandwich and their burger. Made from scratch with great flavor and super sized. We stroke up some great convo with the owner who slings the beer and cooks the food. We're trying their pizzas next. The regulars raved about them and the fact that the dough and everything is made from scratch. Totally a neighborhood gem to be experienced.

Great beer and pizza. Mike the owner is a really friendly dude, easy to talk to and clearly loves what he does. We’ll be back.

These guys have some of the best food around. It's a very low key place and enjoyable! They brew their own beer and I love it. It's a family owned and operated business. You'll get to meet the family members most times you are in. Great family and place to kick back!

We were in the mood for a good pizza, and I remembered this place from several years ago. Several of us walked in hoping to have a great pizza, and a few beers, while spending the afternoon reminiscing about old times. The first thing I noticed was that we were the only customers in there. The young woman behind the bar was expressionless... no smile,no greeting, no words... just a blank stare. We ordered several different beers and sat down at an inside table. It was then that I noticed how dirty everything was. I won't get into specifics, but we all decided we didn't want to eat there. We quickly drank our beers and went to another brewpub about a mile north, where we had a great pizza and outstanding beers.

Went soon after they opened. Very strange. Super cold room (temperature) silent most of the time. Eventually heat was turned on. Seats were very uncomfortable. Waitress?/bartender?/owner?/mother of young teenagers behind the bar?made us feel fairly uncomfortable. Don't like to go here generally but maybe they don't get many LGBT customers? Tried to order the nachos but was told it was impossible to order them without cilantro. Ordered two burgers, one beer and a water. Came to $54 dollars. Burgers were okay, kinda soggy. Lots of money for frankly a weird experience. That being said the regulars that were there seemed happy and were being treated well.

We met friends here on a Saturday night around 6. A few close friends recommended this place for their beer and delicious nachos. The brewery is cute on the outside and super small on the inside. There's a small bar that maybe seats 4 people comfortably. There are around 5 regular sized picnic tables inside that seat 4 comfortably, and 1 high top table in the back that seats 2. The atmosphere is super casual. The service was good, but not super friendly, like most bar atmospheres. Our table ordered beers which they all really enjoyed. I think their favorite was the lager. We ordered a nacho to share ($16). It's one of the best nachos I've had. Every bite was delicious! The toppings were stacked throughout, so there were limited bites of only chips. The chips stayed crunchy during the entire eating process, too; no limp, soggy chips towards the end. We would definitely order it again. We also ordered 2 pizzas. They only have one size, 16" for $25. We ordered the Engineer (similar to Hawaiian) and the Metroliner. Both pizzas tasted good. The crust was thin, which we prefer. The ingredients were fresh and a decent amount of toppings. My only complaint was how much grease was pooling on top as they were served. They were delivered to our table right out of the oven, so they were super hot. More than half of the people burned the inside of their mouths on their first bite. The grease also disappeared as it sat for about 5 minutes. Kinda gross when you think about it. We should have used the paper towels on the table to soak up some of the grease. Heartburn ensued soon after consuming. Overall, we had an okay first-time experience. The service could be friendlier and more attentive. I was the designated driver and had to continually ask for my water to be refilled. The beers kept flowing, though. I guess there's no money in water.
