“We came in right in the Saturday dinner rush, but still got fast, fun and enthusiastic service from Josh. It’s clear he really enjoys his job and takes it seriously.I had the lobster tails, which were delicious. Hubby had the sirloin and coconut shrimp and really enjoyed it, our teenager had the ribeye which he devoured and Josh upgraded his side of fries to the loaded cheese fries. Our toddler very enthusiastically ate absolutely everything offered to him, including more than half of Daddy’s macaroni and cheese. The prices were astonishingly reasonable for our economic climate, the food was delicious, Josh was an absolute joy to be served by (dude needs a raise!) and it was the perfect way to relax after a long day. We don’t even live in Vancouver, but we’ll be back.Kid-friendliness: It’s got a very steakhouse vibe, but they are super kid-friendly. Our toddler was treated as an equal guest, and our teenager was spoken to like an adult. They have a kids menu which we declined, but our toddler loved everything he ate off our plates. High chairs are readily available.“
“I have come to Black Angus since I was a kid, and I was devastated to hear that so many of the restaurants had closed. This place was an absolute treat as a child. I grew up in the now dead middle class, and coming here was a nice night out for my family and we always loved the private atmosphere and great staff. I'm so proud to see they still stand today, after everything. The steaks are still great, the potato skins still knaw at my dreams, and heck even their rice pilaf is killer. I will come here until the day they shut the doors for good, which I hope is never. If there is ever a way to keep this great business afloat, I will always support it. You should absolutely come if you want a nice, comfortable, private and delicious night out. This is such a great first impression date spot.“
“This is my favorite restraunt in the city. I've been twice, and my only regret the first time was not odering more food. I went for Valentines Day this year, and the steak was so good I laughed when I first tasted it. It truly is unbelievable the kinds of flavors they coax out of the food. Everything here is quality. The service, the drink selection, the cocktails, the atmosphere, and of course the steak. I will be back.“
“Easter fell on my birthday this year and like every year, I have my Center Cut NY with a beautiful Cabernet from a Grand Wine list, Cocktail list is not to be missed, and dessert, a big slice of Cheesecake..Forgetaboutit! excellence is the bar they set, Everytime! cheers“
“Walking into Sayler's Old Country Kitchen feels like taking a step back in time to a cozy spot in the South. The ambiance is all about that old country charm, making you feel welcome the moment you step through the door. But let's talk about the real star of the show - the food. Not only is it delicious, but the portions are generous enough to satisfy even the biggest of appetites. It's rare to find a place that gives you so much bang for your buck these days, making Sayler's a must-visit for anyone who loves a good meal without breaking the bank. If you consider yourself a big eater, you definitely won't be disappointed. Highly recommended!I did tried the 72oz ?.“
“I'd driven past this place a million times but finally went in on the recommendation of a friend. Everything was extremely well prepared and delicious. The atmosphere was excellent and we had a really wonderful time. So happy to have found a great steak place that I don't have to make the trek downtown for.“
“This place is always 100 percent spot on. The service, food and staff are top notch. If you have ever seen the show “The best thing I ever ate”, this restaurants Cesar salad is 100%. The best one I have ever eaten. If you want a perfect dining experience, I strongly suggest the rack of lamb(medium rare)and Cesar salad. Perfection.“
“I was going to dine at another restaurant but i came here because the other location was very stuck up in my opinion and not worth it. I came to Ruth Chris and had zero problems. I have no issue paying for fine dining but that place was ridiculous. The sea bass here was divine and the bar tender made my Brandy Alexander perfect without hesitation.“
“Food is always fantastic. This is actually the best steak house in Portland in my opinion. Excellent cuts, dry aged, and always cooked perfectly. The service is always always friendly and good. Yonathan is the best server we've had there!“
“Poor bartender seemed to need a helper! As she had to make food and make drinks and help lottery! She was very busy! So she couldn’t get to everyone’s needs very quickly, making a group on e guests not happy with her! Even though it wasn’t entirely her fault! She should have had someone helping her.Parking: Parking is always available when I have gone and variety of times of day/night.“
“Pretty good food at a great price. You can get a 7oz filet mignon for $40, with sides. However, even at that price the steak is cooked very well. We got a new York stripe because they had run out of filet mignons, ordered medium rare, and came perfectly. The steak also came with a gorgonzola butter, asparagus, and fingerling potatoes. The second dish we got was a chef special, pork cheek pasta in a cherry sauce. It was delicious and the pork was tender beyond belief. The only thing I would say is that it could use a bit of salt, on both. Side note definitely get the duck fat rosemary fries.“
“This is the first time I've ever been to a Outback, and my expectations were middle of the road. To my surprise, it beat my expectations. The food was better than expected and advertised, and in fact, despite not being hungry, was great for your typical American pub fare. The Pub Burger was great, bigger than expected thus perfect to split with someone. The fries had no business being as good as they were either. And the Blooming Onion pieces are fantastic! I am not a onion ring guy at all, but the spices in their breading is top tier. The service was good and friendly, though even for a dine-in joint was a bit slower than average in getting the food out to us. Normal circumstances I wouldn't have any issues with it, but when you're there a hour early before you need to catch a MAX to Portland, it begins to threaten the timing. The atmosphere is relaxing and good. I love a warm, low light atmosphere like they have here. And the simple medium wood grain with the trim colors is a perfect contrast to make that vibe complete.“
“Slammed the 32oz. PORTER by my lonesome. A few asked if it could be done, but let's not get too cute. I knew it was only a matter of time before the meat sweats would ensue. It was delicious. Cooked perfectly, and entertainment for the rest of the crew. I was offered a flaming sword, but I declined. My reward was steak, delirium, and a deep sleep that night.“
