SO AD
I used to love his place but it’s under new ownership and I haven’t had a good experience since.I always enjoyed the warm smiles, attentive service, cozy atmosphere and delicious food. On my most recent visit since the new owners, forget smiles, we barely received eye contact, and had to flag them down or get up and ask when we needed anything. The server asked for my preferred level of spiciness to which I replied “not spicy”. What I received was so spicy that I couldn’t eat it. Picking through it I could tell by the sheer volume of red peppers that it was prepared spicy, but they didn’t offer to remake it or discount it from the bill. Instead they charged $2 for the tiny bowl of rice I asked for to cool my palate. We also ordered the won ton soup, which was very bland. I ordered another meal to replace the spicy meal and watched as the kitchen staff stood outside smoking for 20 minutes while I, $75 poorer, silently vowed never to return.I miss the former owners and establishment I had come to love! ?

I miss some of the popular Taiwanese sides like green onion pancakes from the previous location but Tasty Pot is a worthy replacement. I had the lamb soup and it was excellent. Lots of lamb slices, meatball, and fillings to fill you up and top-up on delicious broth to keep you eating for an hour more. I know there are AYCE Shabu places but you can fill up at Tasty Pot for half the price. We also ordered the dumplings which came with six. It's a reasonable deal but they were average. The lamb soup with vermicelli noodles at medium spicy was perfect though.

I usually have a good experience here and am giving high stars because of that. BUT make sure to check your to go order before you leave! I ordered the veg chow mein and asked for it vegan, which they’ve done before, and this time they served noodles with no vegetables at all and still left the meat in. I ordered directly from their website because I wanted to support them, but there’s no way to submit feedback or send them a picture to show that something went wrong.

To start my wife and I have food sensitivity. She is gluten and lactose intolerant. I have recently become allergic to all seafood. Our waiter was very accommodating to our food allergies. As far as the food it was fantastic, every bite was delicious and full of flavor.I will recommend anyone who asks to try this restaurant.
Environment: strip mall. Good for what it is.Did was good quality, authentic, and well priced. If you like Noodle soups and seafood, this is the place you you.Dumping are pretty good, even whinny the poo would like them.Dietary restrictions: Good menus for DM

Love, love, love this place. First tried Tasty Pot in Beaverton a few years ago and was SO happy to see them come to Vancouver. I am fan of all hot pot in general, especially in this freezing cold weather. It is nice to do an individual hot pot for the ease compared to traditional hot pot. Tasty Pot jam packs their pots with lots of ingredients. They will also refill the broth, which makes for awesome leftovers. Got 2 meals out of one order with the leftovers and added broth.Service was friendly and efficient. I am so happy to have Tasty Pot in Vancouver.

1/13 in the snow day, I and my daughter went to for the hot pot, I ordered the hot pot, but I bite the hard stuff in my mouth, that let my tooth uncomfortable, then I found the small tiny stone in my hot pot, and I gave the stone to show the restaurant manager who told me that never happened before, then gave to me change the new hot pot, so I hope that is a accident.
