“This is truly some of the best pho I've ever had. The broth is impossibly rich and complex, firing off every tastebud at once. Heaps of tender beef, noodles with the perfect amount of bite, and of course all the herby accompaniments, so fresh I want to know where they got them! Have this pho on the first rainy days, or any time. Prepared expertly for take out too so that nothing got soggy or cold. The cha gio are also top notch!“
“Wow such great food and service! I think this has officially become my favorite pho spot in Vancouver and I've tried almost every pho place. The broth was delicious and the salad rolls with the peanut sauce were sooo good. They are also family friendly which I appreciate. Definitely will make my way back here again!“
“Our friends live nearby & its become their favorite pho spot. They've even gotten to know the waitress Trinh. So finally after talking about it for a few months, we finally went with them. The restaurant was empty, but Trinh welcomed us & in remembered our friends like they were best friends. I got my usual meatball pho as it makes it easy for me to compare from place to place. It came very quick & comes with the usual fixings. The broth was very tasty & meatballs were the perfect texture & not too much of the fatty pieces in it. Service was great & fast. Will be back“
“10 out of 10. This is my favorite Pho place between portland and vancouver. The pho is amazing. The service is always great. Super authentic, clean, and i swear always the best food. They remember people, they never have to take a name when placing an order. I love that. They know exactly who you are when you come in. Even as a new person. Please go here. Best pho. ?“
“Found this place close to our house, and after reading reviews, we decided to give it a shot! The ambiance as you walk in is pretty cool. So many lanterns hanging from the ceiling and lotus flowers painted on the walls. Very inviting. There was only one employee working the floor, so it took a few minutes to be seated because she was taking orders from seated guests as well. The kitchen staff did help bring out food when it was ready, so that was nice. All our food came out hot. We ended up ordering the shrimp salad rolls, chicken lettuce wraps, salt and pepper squid, and tofu drunken noodles. The shrimp salad rolls were just ok. They weren't wrapped tightly and just fell apart, making them difficult to eat as ordered. We've had better elsewhere (Nom Nom is our favorite). The rest of the food was delicious! The chicken lettuce wraps were so good! The sauce was addictive. The tofu in the drunken noodles was crispy on the outside, which we absolutely loved. The salt and pepper squid was so tender and the breading light. Overall, the atmosphere was lovely and food delicious. We'll definitely be back to try other options. Highly recommend.“
“We've been coming here for a long time now, and it quickly became our weekly pho place. We always order the beef pho (combo and steak), and it's consistently amazing! The family who runs this restaurant are lovely, wonderful, and hardworking people. Definitely give this place a try if you haven't already, and we absolutely recommend their beef pho and bahn mi's!“
“The customer service was absolutely amazing. We had a group of 6, and they made quick accommodations for us to seat us right away. After making our order, we received our food pretty quickly. Once we received our food, it was amazing. The gentleman that took our order was such a sweetheart and very attentive. The older man was joking around with my daughter and made them giggle, and they felt comfortable. My girls definitely approved.“
“The spicy level on this bun Bo Hue is ?. My bf and I have been on the hunt for good BBH but didn't want to go to Portland. The Vietnamese restaurants in Vancouver tends to be a hit and miss and I take reviews from non Vietnamese p with a grain of salt. But I had to give this place a try because I read they're known for their BBH.So me being Vietnamese, growing up in a traditional Vietnamese household back in San Jose - I have to say this place was better than I expected! The flavor and spice level was perfect. Customer service was attentive and not overbearing. My only recommendation is to add more meat and cha Lua to the BBH and it would have been perfect. But it's nice to know that there's a good restaurant not too far from where I live! I'll definitely come back and try their other items.BBH is 4/5 but customer service bumps it to 5.“
“First time coming here and it didn't disappoint. The food was fast and amazing delicious, the thi iced coffee was delicious and gave me the added kick I needed after a day out with the family. Service was on point and amazing. A top pick for a couples date night or a first date with a special someone. I will most definitely be back again soon. Simply amazing place.Parking: I had to park just down the street but it was a beautiful day with the sun out so the family and I didn't mind the short walk.“
“I've been coming here for 5 years with my family and this is our go to place. We dine in and take out. They have great service and great food. Some of our favorites: vermicelli with pork&shrimp, house special pho, Avocado smoothie, crab puffs and so much more.“
“Excellent flavorful food. We’ve gone twice now. I tried the lemongrass pork with egg roll and the spicy beef noodle soup. I also tried the egg roll and salad roll, I wasn’t a fan of the mint in then but others in my group liked that about it. The staff was nice but took a very long time to bring our drinks, although they did give us water and the food came out quickly. They didn’t check on our table again after bringing our orders.“
“First of all I want to say I will definitely come back for another chance and the lady who served me was incredibly kind!I am a little disappointed with the sandwich. I liked the bread but it wasn't as sturdy as a baguette and the veggies were very fresh and abundant, but overall it lacked flavor. The sauce helped but the unseasoned ground pork wasn't very enjoyable. It was also very sloppy and almost everything fell out as I was trying to eat it. I do appreciate the copious amount of napkins because I needed all of them.I think I will try the beef or chicken next time“
“I come here every once in a while, the elderly man is very nice and welcoming. I have realized that every time I order food it always comes consistant. Along with the food being consistent the service is always very welcoming. Pretty young server was very helpful in choosing my first bowl of pho to try, as I do not eat vietnamese cuisine often. Place often doesn't close at eight if they still have customers, and are very respectful for you to finish your food. Great spot to take the family out to eat as they are fast, tasty, and most of all very kind family owned resturant.“
“Kid-friendliness: They have high chairs, and they'll let you add extra meat to plates if you share with your kiddos. I took my toddler in, and they offered me a small plate of veggies sliced up just for them. I definitely appreciated that!“
“This place is my favorite pho place around there. Beef curry noodle is amazing. I’ve never had anything like it and it’s perfectly balanced! Every time I come here service is top notch even if they’re busy your food comes out fast 10 out of 10“
“I absolutely love this place.. my favorite Pho around. The service is usually very good too.. BUT, many new faces, and every server insists on taking orders by memory, which has bitten me more than once.If you can’t remember an order.. Please write it down! .. my only critique“
“I went to this restaurant when it first opened and honestly I wasn't impressed. I felt the pho was bland. The service was great though and the location is super convenient for me, so I decided to give it another swing a month or so later. Better. Fast forward to now...they have it down! I've been several times now and I haven't been disappointed again. The pho is now tasting excellent! The service is still great, and the restaurant is very clean. I'm becoming a frequent customer. Keep it up guys! I'll be back. To all others reading, highly recommended!Update 3/14/24 Still loving it! Recipe is solid and everything tastes excellent. Keep it up!“
“I've ordered and dined in, and I enjoyed the experience. The physical location is near Chuck's on Mill Plain and very unassuming, tinted windows. The dining room is very cute with a lot of pleasing aesthetic choices like stylized photos of dishes and colorful lanterns. The Oxtail Pho is the best in town, the broth specifically is the best in town.“
“Vancouver has what?Seriously nice diverse Asian food menu, open late at night. Great for late travelers leaving PDX and not wanting McDonald's, Taco Bell, or diners like Shari's.Food is tasty, was served at the right temperature and portion size. Incredible Banh Mi for $8 (as of this writing). I did miss fresh jalapeno inside.I would recommend coming in to order though they seemed to have a ton of orders arriving on the delivery apps.Interesting to have Stevie Ray Vaughan playing but who doesn't like his style?Tried:Banh Mi (barbeque pork) - 4.5 starsXiao long bao (pork soup dumplings) - 4Siu Mai - 4.5Spicy chilli wontons - 4Thai iced tea (no boba) - 5Vegetarian options: A few options, but this is mostly a meat focused restaurant. It would depend on your nose tolerance for dining around omnivores.Parking: Right next to Walmart super center and large side lot besides a strip mall in front.Kid-friendliness: Many parents bringing their kids here while we're eating. Be a little adventurous. Finger foods. :-)Wheelchair accessibility: Standard business in a strip mall with a single door. The door was propped open on our visit.“
“This place is amazing. Small family owned business, food has such great flavors and service is so friendly. Being a vegetarian it is hard to find fresh veggie broth and Pho Family makes their broth from scratch not canned. You can truly taste the difference! Highly recommend!!“
