I had wanted to go to this place when they were a combination Thai and Laotian restaurant but had never gotten around to it. A friend from Portland was visiting and wanted to try it so we went. So happy to find this local gem! Few restaurants offer vegan options in Vancouver, and the choice(s) in the ones that do are pretty predictable, bland (mostly a frozen 'burger' patty that you can buy in any grocery store) and obviously an after-thought. Not so at Wild Tiger! They have many vegan dishes on the menu AND many of the rest can be made vegan- which they are happy to do! And they are full of flavor. Came for a quick bite and lunch with friends. Not too busy and a good music playlist! Appetizers come very fast but however the food takes a bit longer. Not my favorite Thai restaurant but definitely one of my favorites. Very large portions of food, you will surely have left overs.Kid-friendliness: As a 10 year old me and my family love coming here and the waiters / waitresses give children time to think about what they want and don’t rush them!
