This place was great. There were 10 of us who went. All the food was good. I had the calamari. It was a little overcooked but the chef was great. The salmon niguri was great. It was well balanced with the rice. Definitely would come back and would recommend to friends.

I came here with my wife last Friday, March 8th, which was our 22nd anniversary. My wife has been here a few times for work so she was already familiar with the restaurant. This was my first time. We were seated right away. We got two drinks, an appetizer and two entrees. The drinks were some of the best I've had. The appetizer and the entrees were so delicious! This was my first time having sushi and I was not disappointed! Thank you, Kyoto's, for a memorable anniversary, and thank you, Lala, for the amazing service! We had a wonderful time and we will definitely be back!

They no longer offer Monday happy hour which was the premise for which we went to Kyoto. Sushi is good and once we ordered, we were in and out in 30 minutes — food arrived quickly and we were able to close out and be home by 6:30 (we ordered at 5:45pm) so would make a great lunch spot for folks with time constraints.I love their Oshinko Rolls :)Vegetarian options: Oshinko Rolls

This is a wonderful place. This restaurant has been in business for a few years now and I'm surprised I had never set foot here until a few days ago. I didn't know what I was missing. The food is wonderful, the atmosphere is wonderful, the staff is wonderful. During the day, it has a peaceful, quiet, dim atmosphere conductive to eating in peace and quiet. During the evening, the place truly shines, the decor is subtle and not on your face. The food, again, is wonderful, and very reasonably priced. I was surprised to find myself paying well below what I was expecting to, considering all the food my wife and I ordered. The staff is attentive, polite, and very professional. This is a great place to visit, have a good time, and spend wonderful moments.Definitely and wholeheartedly recommend!Kid-friendliness: We, my baby included, were made to feel welcomed and accomodations were made for my baby.

Amazing hibachi grill experience. The chef was funny, engaging, and very talented. Filet and scallops were outstanding. Great for date night or family dinner out!!! Friendly and attentive staff, prices are reasonable.Kid-friendliness: Good chicken nugget option for kiddos!!
The best Japanese restaurant in a foreign country, at least for me. Even if you had to ask me first for my ID before giving me my draft beer (I'm 34 btw, thanks to my Asian genes), it's worth it. Me and my family keeps on coming back here.
