Always welcomed by Ross and Katie. Lovely people and a fun and interesting beer selection of local and not so local good beer.

The service is lacking. It feels like I’m an inconvenience when being helped. When asking for recommendations they don’t really do much to help in making a choice. The outdoor seating is nice & the giant pretzel is good. I just don’t feel comfortable there with the staff. The prices are also really high.

My husband and I had 3 10oz beers over a two hour period and had purchased two growlers to take home while watching some football at the bar. When I tried to order a 4th, the bartender refused to serve me. I wasn’t rude to anyone, I wasn’t making a scene, I had some polite conversation with other patrons at the bar but that is all! It was just after 6 pm so they weren’t closing. I would understand if I was not conducting myself in a respectful manor but I was just enjoying time with my husband and having some beers. It had been a stressful month and my mom passed on Christmas. We supported this business through the pandemic by purchasing a growler once a month to take home. We didn’t frequent the inside but I can tell you we won’t be supporting this business again. The experience left me embarrassed and a very sour feeling. I’m sorry we tipped for our previous drinks.

Hands down my favorite place in Yakima. Beer selection is fantastic, menu is legit and the service is great. We ate outside and enjoyed a the casual neighborhood vibe. Being family friendly is a huge plus.

Love this place!! They have the largest selection of taps in town. If you want something other than beer check out their wine list. They have an amazing representation of local wineries, and that’s not all they have ciders and hard seltzers. They also have great food options. Super friendly and knowledgeable staff. Highly recommend.

Dog friendly, which is nice. Kid friendly, which is even better. The staff have always been friendly, knowledgeable, and great with the kids. The outside seating is amazing, ranging from covered patios, umbrellaed tables, and even "garage seating" semi-enclosed areas. Outside and inside bars allow for getting drinks without having to haul dogs or kids inside, if they're playing. Grassy areas are beloved by kids for games and preserving parent sanity. The food is great, with the regular pizzas being solid choices if the specials don't sound interesting. The charcuterie board option is actually one of the best spreads for the price I've seen any restaurant have. Nothing is phoned in here, from service to food quality to drink selection. Guaranteed a great experience.Kid-friendliness: The staff always engage with our kids really well. They have amazing amounts of patience for normal (and not so normal) kid questions and stories. They go out of their way to ensure any food we order for the kids are heaped with stuff they'd like (when we order pepperoni pizzas for them, they load up the cheese and pepperoni--no skimping at all!)

Service is not appropriate, I order a item at the bar like the menu suggests, bar maid asked what I wanted I gave her my order, comes back to our table with a number stick 15 minutes later asking us what did we order again? Really? She said they were really busy. NO! She was busy stuffing her face with food and carrying on conversation with her friends behind the bar enjoying her work time not helping customers because we weren't a " on going customer or a regular " not the Costco way of business. Well not going there again ever. Bale Breaker is way way better and employees are amazing.

Great place to meet after a long day or end of the week to blow off steam! the food is good and fairly priced while drinks are mostly local. I would recommend Public House if your looking for a place to meet with friends, family, or co workers.
