Taj Palace is the best Indian food my family has ever had. We all were not fans and told people we don't like Indian food. Well... Taj has made liars out of us. The butter chicken is delicious, along with veggie pakora, curry chicken, samosas, puddings, salads, Naan, coconut veggies, spicy cauliflower you name it and Taj doesn't ever disappoint. The atmosphere is comfortable and cozy with tasteful decor that immerses you into a far away land of tasty nums. The staff is all great kind and courteous and attentive. My daughter loved going just to see the younger guy who's name we still don't know but he's always nice and funny. Prices are fair with good sized portions or just go in for the buffet and taste many items for $14. On your way out don't forget to taste the spice candy unless you don't like licorice and don't lick the spoon!!!

Still after all these years they never disappoint us. They’re still our favorite place for Indian Cuisine anywhere. Love these cooks and the management aling with the young male staff whom are pretty friendly and cool. I’m not great with names but we were there for 3 hours and it was nice because I met some new people. I talked their ear off but I blame it on your good food! They asked questions and we knew the answers and the rest is up hill so…

Food was absolutely phenomenal. Everything we ordered was well made, good portions, and wonderful flavor. Our kids even enjoyed the leftovers!
I cried when I tasted the food and the Chai. I finally felt like I had gone home after more than 30+ years trying to find a good Indian restaurant. I tried so many and they all fell short until I went here. It was so good, I think my tip was like 80% of my meal. I can't wait to go back and introduce my friends to true Indian food. I had the buffet, my preference, because I was able to try more than one item. I love their Palak Paneer. I also love Naan with some cucumber riata and the jalapeño mint chutney. A cup of sweetened Chai is a must. Enjoy!

As someone with an Indian fiancé and has visited the country multiple times, I can honestly say that Taj Palace is as authentic as it gets. I’ve tried other Indian restaurants in town, and Taj Palace is truly a cut above the rest. The flavors and spices are rich in flavor and they don’t shy away from the heat if asked. I am impressed with every dish I’ve had here and the staff are hospitable and have a great sense of humor. Being vegan, this is one of the only places in Yakima where I feel like I have real options and variety to choose from. The menu has so many options for all diets and allergies. I can’t say enough about this place! We usually order to-go but the atmosphere is also welcoming for those who dine in.Dietary restrictions: The menu has allergens clearly marked and a detailed ingredients list for each item.
