“I love stopping by here when also picking up some ? from King Cronic. Their food has never been a let down. From the torta to the burrito to the tacos. My partner and I have fallen in love with this amazing truck and their food. We recommend their food to everyone we know. We will def keep coming back.Parking: They share a parking lot with King Cronic. So the parking fluctuates. However I have never seen a true parking shortage there unless there's an event”

“Called in a to-go order this evening and the gentleman I spoke with was very friendly and hospitable. Told me it would be ready in 10 minutes, so I showed up 10 minutes later and sure enough it was ready to go. The woman who rang me up was also very friendly and hospitable, and the food was so dang good. I ordered a 5 taco platter, lengua, and it was the first time I’ve had lengua in WA state that I’ve enjoyed. Tender, cooked perfectly, amazing flavor. My wife ordered the green enchilada burrito and I accidentally spilled some of the delicious sauce they pour over it so I was able to taste that, too, and that was delicious as well. The rice and beans were much better than what you’ll get at an average Mexican spot around here. The pork tamales were flavorful and just a tad dry, which wasn’t a problem when eating them with the delicious salsas they provide upon request. Their lemonade was good, horchata was really good.All in all I spent ~$56 with tip, which seems pretty standard nowadays. Long gone are the prices I’m used to for taquerias in Houston, Texas, but I’m stoked to know that we have someplace local to go for the flavor and hospitality that I grew accustomed to in the south. Highly recommend!Parking: Park out in front of the gas station or go through the drive thru—they’re located in the back-left corner of the building.”

“Doug's Restaurant is well staffed with an exceptional staff, regardless of how busy they are. The servers are extremely friendly. This establishment is always well decorated for the new upcoming holiday. Overall, this is an exceptional establishment that has great freshly prepared hometown / homestyle options on their menu. There is generally parking right at the restaurant itself as well.”

“I don’t really like having to stop pretty much anywhere in Yelm for food but I stopped for this particular teriyaki joint and was surprised to say it’s better than most teriyaki restaurants around the Puget Sound. Very friendly staff. I had to add an item to my order and they quickly got it done. The spicy teriyaki chicken was very flavorful. My eggroll was fried to perfection. The only take away for me is that they could have went a little heavier on the spice for me.”

“Was some of the best chain sandwiches I've had in recent years. Hot, fresh, and delicious. I had the Black Angus Steakhouse sandwich and it was incredibly delicious. The service is amazing here, and so is everything else. Will return over and over.”

“Veteran Owned and absolutely love the changes they are making, use to be my least favorite breakfast spot in town. Now it is probably my favorite breakfast spot.If you have not tried it in awhile, definitely worth hoping by and trying a meal.”

“Pizzeria La Gitana in Yelm is a lovely restaurant for a quiet date night. The wood-fired pizza is the best in the area, the ingredients are fresh. Everyone needs to try this restaurant!”

“I am very much impressed by the quality of customer service, and the American dream held up by this locally owned business. I ordered 1 lb of beef pastrami, a large side of Mac and cheese, and a large side of pork & beans. I got to try a sample of the meat before buying to make sure it was to my liking which I was not disappointed by any means.”

“I have always ordered takeout, And anytime I have called and mind you my order isn't to complicated, but complicated enough, my food has always been made just they way I asked and fresh like it just came off the stove. The prices are very reasonable, if not very accommodating. It cost me less to feed my daughter, fiancee, and my self then going to some food joint and we have left overs.”

“FREQUENT PHO EATER HERE. Lived in Seattle. Have been to all the great pho spots around the PNW. This place is in the same class. Absolutely top tier. The broth has outstanding flavor. Excellent meat portions. Noticed a lot of great option on the menu. Yummy peanut sauce with the spring rolls. The staff was super friendly and excellent with our kids. We will purposely make our way back just to stop here. Jealous it isn’t closer!”

“Every time we have come here the food has been great. It's really nice on the patio on a sunny day. Inside is nice too. The staff has been very friendly and attentive. It is becoming one of our favorite places to eat in Yelm.”
