I just waddled out of Apple Valley after my wife and I laughed about the portion size here. First off, the staff was very friendly. I saw the owner addressing many people by name and joking about them coming in every day. The menu was varied and the prices were fair. My wife went with eggs, bacon and pancakes while I tried the Country skillet. I couldn't believe the size of that thing even after seeing so many reviews mentioning the portions. Service was amazing and the portions are big. The food was very tasty and we wish we had a few more stomachs. However the gluten free pancakes have almond flour so if you are like me, gluten and nut free you will have to look elsewhere. That said I would come back here for their other food options.
Very good breakfast place! Large menu, with lots of breakfast and lunch choices. The waitress was very kind even though the restaurant was *very* busy on Sunday morning. Food came quicker than expected, given the number of people eating in the restaurant. The food was good as well. Only drawback is that when you order some items, that is the only item you get-- for example French toast. Usually other places it will come with a small side of fruit or something to fill the plate...read full review
