I was headed for Caramel Crisp Cafe, when I saw the specials on the menu and the Swordfish stew they had on special that Friday really caught my attention and I just had to try it! It was delicious, a generous helping of swordfish and a hearty meal overall. It was on that day I found out that swordfish eats like a pork chop.”

The establishment offers Crowlers, Howlers, and Growlers for carry-out, and some of the beers are available in cans. Logo merchandise is available behind the counter, such as attractive mugs and Growlers as well as T-shirts and hats. In pleasant weather outside seating is available on the Fox Riverside. The atmosphere inside is pleasant and it's a good place to have a conversation with old friends and new acquaintances. I love this place!”

“Jules made our wedding cake and cupcakes for our guests. They were all gluten free so I could enjoy and our guests ate every last cupcake!! Our guests were shocked to find out they were gluten free since you can usually tell right away. They were delicious and I can’t wait to get something on every anniversary (and definitely in between. “First time we have eaten here. The food, service and restaurant were excellent. But the charges were not transparent; they charge a fee for paying a credit card, they call it a “Procurement Fee”! This fee was not told to us until after they ran my credit card, this is just wrong. Also, I am not sure how they have their credit card machine calculate suggested tips, but be careful. The 20% I tapped on came out to more then 20% of what they called the “Base amount”! We will definitely be back; it is worth the drive from the Town of Algoma, but the next time I will pay in cash and calculate the tip myself.Parking: Easy to find parking on the street. We did arrive on a Friday at around 5pm, so we may have been a head of the crowd. It was busier when we left.”
