“I had frog legs and I asked the chef to do them in a lemon butter sauce and they were to die for! I ate all of the legs and was looking for more once I was done. This meal was excellent for the price and service received!!! We will be back again for sure!!!! The service by KIM was extremely good. KIM was there to check in constantly to see if we needed anything.”
“Tasty and reasonably priced fish fry. Luv the deep vinyl music they play too. Looks like it might turn into a ROADHOUSE late at night, Suppertime quiet tho...Food came very fast. Lots of dartboards. Nice folk here . My go-to place fer da Friday night fish fry.”
“This tiny little restaurant is absolutely fantastic! The sea bass was perfectly seared and perfectly cooked with a yummy sweet sauce and farro. My husband's pizza was quirky and delicious, with sausage and pickled veggies. And the appetizers--just wow! We got a cold apple and prosciutto salad, which was great, and the steak tarter, which is a show stopper (definitely not the same dish we serve at family picnics). Definitely get a reservation--I couldn't believe how it filled up, even early on a Saturday night. Worth a visit.”
“Amazing churro bar with a variety of flavors, toppings, and ice cream. Elotes are delicious filled with seasonings and flavor exploding in your mouth. The staff are kind, courteous and will answer all your questions. I even appreciate the baby changing pad in the bathroom, this is a family favorite place for us!They also recently added organic teas and dairy free ice cream”
“The food was amazing definitely recommend the longhorn, I never thought about onion rings on a brisket sandwich but here it is in all it's goodness. My boyfriend got the pot belly and could barely Finnish it it was truelly amazing 10/10 would recommendWheelchair accessibility: You have to go in through the doors by the coffee shop and go through the back hallway to get to the restaurant if you have a wheelchair.”
“I went here with my dad and we spent a long time looking at the menu before asking the worker what he suggested. He told us to get the masala dosa. My dad got that and I opted for a more spicer dosa. They were insanely good. Was not expecting them to be that big. We also got an order or samosas, which were pretty good. The only con was the wait- it probably took closer to an hour for our food to arrive, which was weird because there was only like two other groups. And they serve the food on single use disposable plates, which is kind of disappointing.”
“This was our first visit, we came in for breakfast right at opening on Monday. Erin greeted us and was very polite and welcoming. The restaurant gives off a comfortable homey feel. The music choice was good, the volume loud but not obnoxious to where we couldn't talk across the table. We admired the artwork and fixtures and even enjoyed the random coffee mugs they seem to use.The menu although small had lots of options, we were able to chose from the entire menu even though it was only 8am. We went with the burrito bowl and the Skillet, the special of the day. Both came out looking very appealing. The dishes tasted fresh and flavorful. The toast with their homemade jam and butter were my favorite part. Everything was so delicious. The bread pudding was suggested to us at the end of our meal so we split a slice, very good.Service was good. She checked on us enough but also let us enjoy our meal and conversation. The cost wasn't terrible, about what to expect these days while dining out. We will return!”
“We stopped in for dinner on a busy Saturday night. We found 2 open spots at the bar right when we walked in. The staff is very accommodating. The drinks are professionally put together. The smash burgers were awesome!BEST BURGER IN THE VALLEY!Thank you for the great service Mitch! I highly recommend you try this place out.”
“GREAT FOOD! Mac& cheese is just a MMMMM. Portions are worth the money. Leftovers are VERY possible. Fried plantains are delicious, Pork is soo tender and plentiful.”
“Date night and the quest for the best burger continues. What a delightful find. Service was exceptional! When we arrived, we were told 15 minutes for a table and 45 for food. Well, date night so...perfect. Our table was no where near 15 minutes, maybe 5 tops. AND the drink order the bartender took was placed on the table. Super fantastic. We went for burgers, and they were great! I had the Wisco Inferno, but I chickened out a bit and had the reaper ranch on the side. Outstanding flavor, and putting the sauce on the side was a great idea for me. I put just a touch of the sauce on. The burger was so satisfying. Service was wonderful. They refilled our adult beverages in a super timely manner. Overall wonderful visit. We will be back”
“Lots of different options, large portions which I liked. Most options were great, ham was a tad dry but still good and easy to eat. Very friendly workers, very helpful, responsive, and attentive. Very popular, could use an expansion had to wait 30 minutes to get seated. Very comfortable. They've got a bar area and an all you can eat buffet area as well.”
“Pleasant, quaint, slightly off the beaten path local coffee joint. Right across from Fleet Farm Gas. Exceptional friendly staff & clientele.excellent espresso & standard coffee & treats. A few healthier options for the slightly meal-minded.Parking: Only a couple of off street slots, but lots of on street parking ( it’s a quiet street).”
“Looking for a spot to hang out and have some good beer? This place is it! They have their own brew and other great picks on tap. No liquor but they do have wine. They also have really good homage pizza made in a stone fire oven! Their patio is also a nice place to chill and enjoy beer or glass of wine.”
“This is a classic diner style joint that serves great burgers! My order was quickly prepared, served hot, and by friendly staff. My burger was done just right and the fries are a great compliment. Will return!Parking: There are some limited street parking spots in front of the building, otherwise there is plenty of parking spots available in adjacent lots.”
“Been a long time since I had a gyro. Oakland gyros is a great place. Josef's is right on par. Excellent! The big one is no joke. Outstanding, will definitely be a stop when in appleton. Thanks Josef's”
“Pagonis made me change my perspective on food. I have never liked pasta of any kind, but once i came to pagonis i found a love for all kinds of pasta and other italian foods. The workers are so kind to me and my family, and my food is always on time when i order delivery. The restaurant is kept very clean and it feels great every time i walk in.”
“They're making great food. Check out their menu, it's a wide range and it's all delicious.Everyone in there is a gift. Some of the best food around with real people taking orders and making it. Chicago dogs and falafel in one stop is the bomb.”
“Best cafe in Appleton, hands down, best honey lavender latte I’ve ever had in my life and the soup is LIFE CHANGING, they never miss. Everything is absolutely delicious and homemade, feels like home :) Best cafe ever!! P.S: they have a garden area to sit in during the summer time, its gorgeous.”
“One of my favorite places in Appleton! The sourdough breads are delicious (jalapeno and cheese sourdough is phenomenal for making chicken sandwiches at home for quick lunches/dinners) ?And... I find myself randomly craving their almond croissant ?Also seems to be a good place to work (reading and sending emails).”
“Very good mix of food styles and dietary options, good service and a nice place. I had a bowl (the Cajun bowl with rice) and my guest had the tacos. Both were well portioned and taste great. It is on the pricier side, but it does not seem overpriced for what you’re getting. Looking forward to trying other dishes there.”
“The chef does a beautiful job of balancing acid and fat in all his dishes. The flavors popped and all the courses were delicious. I felt like the dining room was a bit crowded, not with people but one or two less tables in there would provide a more intimate dining experience.”
“Amazing! Home like feeling, family oriented, friendly professional great vide great people! The list goes on and on! I really give mcfleashman's 10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️! Stop in and hang out for a drink. You'll find out for yourself”
“Both food and service was fantastic! Went on a Sunday morning so slight (20 min) wait but it was worth it.The Gyro skillet was amazing, our 12 year old also said the pancakes were some of the best he's had. Will definately be back and would recommend it as a go to breakfast place.”
“Went for Friday fish, I had scallops $17.75, they were small but tasty, came with a baked potato, coleslaw, and rye bread. My friend had perch with potato salad, also $17.75. Small place, we sat in the bar.”
“This was an unexpected delightful experience, one would think the industrial modern interior with hints of postmodern to be lighting to this vast space. The coffee is dark and delicious, the lattes are creamy tasty and full of flavor! The quiche was crispy, firm and tasted like homemade. The enlarged map of Appleton is a delightful touch and find once you stumble across it. The cutlery is heavy enough to make your grandparents proud!Remember to not judge a book by it's cover and pop in to discover this great space.”
“Sashimi is always the best quality in comparison to other nearby options, but the rolls can fall behind in quality. Ordering is via tablet, which makes for an easier browsing experience as well as providing faster service. Prices are comparable to other AYCE sushi restaurants, if not slightly higher than average.”
“Great food in big portion sizes- I'm never worried I'll leave hungry! Service with a smile, the right kind of grill and bar atmosphere, and a nice view of the adult pool parties from that neat little dining area further back in the restaurant. Would recommend!”
“They have worked hard to create a legit Irish pub feel (food, whiskey, beer, atmosphere, etc). The food is quite good. Stafing has been a challenge for them, so service can be spotty. lif you have the patience, you can have a good experience here.”
“The Kountry Bar is a diamond in the rough. The food is great, our favorites are the fish and especially their burgers. You get a good portion of food no matter what you order. The staff are fun and take good care of you. They have a good selection of beers and drinks. The atmosphere is interesting, rustic. If you order the burger, get it with a toasty bun. I feel this is one of the best burgers in the state!!”
“Real friendly, loved the fish-best that my fiancée and I have had, waitress made sure we always had drinks, one friendly guy(lol), the regulars make u feel comfortable and welcome. We will definitely go back to visit this place if we get back there.”
